Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 721: Chapter 734: Do You Have Anything Else?

Mu Wanxin was just about to put her hand on the doorknob when Shen Wenxuan stopped her, ”Xingfeng hasn’t rested properly for days and nights; let’s go in a bit later.”

At this moment, the sound of footsteps echoed from the other end of the corridor.

”Brother Wenxuan, Sister Wanxin, why aren’t you going in? I heard that little sister-in-law has woken up?” Lin Junyang had also received a call from the hospital early in the morning and rushed over, only to find that someone had arrived before him.

Mu Wanxin glanced into the ward; Mu Xingfeng was clearly woken up by the noise outside and was turning his head to look over.

Seeing that he was in high spirits, almost like a new person, Mu Wanxin let out a sigh of relief, pushed the door open, and tiptoed in, placing the food box she was holding on the table.

Her little brother was awake, An Ran was still sleeping, her sister-in-law had been through a lot, and she needed good rest to recover quickly.

But just as she turned her head, Mu Wanxin exclaimed, ”Little brother, you... you...”

Mu Wanxin pointed at Mu Xingfeng’s exposed upper body, too shocked to speak for a moment.

”Ran just woke up, she’s still weak, how could you... how could you...” Saying this, she slapped Mu Xingfeng on the shoulder, ”You beast.”

Mu Xingfeng gave his sister a sidelong glance, reached for the shirt on the chair back, and put it on to cover himself.

Lin Junyang, rubbing his chin and grinning lewdly, teased, ”A rabbit will bite when it’s cornered.”

Mu Wanxin slapped her forehead. Oh right, no matter how he was, her brother wouldn’t have done this to himself. Undoubtedly, it was someone else who did this to him.

”Do you want to die?” Mu Xingfeng gritted his teeth and said, although he was quite satisfied with the marks on his body, it didn’t mean he liked being teased about them, especially involving his little wife.

His little wife was not someone other men could tease, not even his brothers.

”Oh, come on, we’re all adults here, alright, alright, don’t blame sister for overreacting.” Mu Wanxin saw her little brother’s darkened face and quickly tried to smooth things over.

”What are you all doing?” A voice suddenly came, carrying a lazy tone as if just woken up.

They saw An Ran had already sat up, blinking her large, fluffy eyes, staring blankly at the four people in front of the bed.

Mu Xingfeng knew that An Ran would be momentarily groggy after just waking up, so he wasn’t worried if she heard what they were saying just now. He walked over and propped up the pillow to make her more comfortable leaning against the headboard.

”It’s nothing, sister and the others heard you woke up and came to see you.”

An Ran rubbed her eyes, now seeing the people clearly, and with a sleepy voice, softly called out, ”Big sister, brother-in-law, Brother Junyang, you’re all here.”

Her soft voice melted everyone’s hearts.

Mu Wanxin walked up with a bright smile and pinched An Ran’s little face, ”Ran has suffered this time, look at this little face, it’s gotten skinnier. Big sister brought you some seafood porridge.”

Mu Xingfeng brushed aside Mu Wanxin’s hand, rescuing his little wife’s small face from her torture, ”Alright, I get it, you can go now.”

He glanced at Lin Junyang, ”Do you have something to do?”

Lin Junyang rubbed his nose. With his many years of experience following Mu Xingfeng, and knowing his second brother’s shameless way of venting his frustration on his brothers whenever he wasn’t in a good mood, he thought it was necessary to hide for a while.

Because the air was now filled with a strong sense of jealousy, though he didn’t know where it came from.

But he had a heavy responsibility and couldn’t retreat just yet.
