Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 169: Chapter 181 The Ye Family’s Company Has Been Sealed Off

An Sijia glared at Xiao Xiao, pulled An Ran’s arm, and pointed to the large tree nearby: ”Sis, can we go over there to talk?”

”Xiao Xiao, you go back first. Please bring my book, I’ll go directly to class.” An Ran said to Xiao Xiao.

Whenever An Sijia called her sis, An Ran knew An Sijia had something to ask of her. It was better for Xiao Xiao to know less about those messy matters of the An Family, so as to avoid adding one more person worrying about her.

Xiao Xiao nodded: ”Call me if you need anything.”

”Hey Xiao Xiao, what do you mean? What can I possibly have to talk to my sister about?” An Sijia said discontentedly.

”Just what it means.” Xiao Xiao said, then turned around and walked into the dormitory building coolly.

”Alright, what’s the matter?” An Ran impatiently reminded An Sijia.

An Sijia pulled her under the big tree, then said flatteringly: ”Sis, are you well acquainted with Lu Yi? Do you have his phone number?”

An Ran sneered: ”Why do you want Lu Yi’s phone number? Aren’t you and your Brother Sheng inseparable like glue?”

”Sis, what nonsense are you talking about,” An Sijia stopped An Ran, looked around and whispered: ”Do you know Ye Family’s company was shut down today, Ye Sheng’s father was taken for investigation, you saying this now, do you want to destroy the An Family?”

”Shut down?” This news surprised An Ran: ”Ye Family’s company is so big, how could it be shut down just like that?”

”Who knows,” An Sijia shrugged, yesterday at the Lu Family banquet, she saw Ye Sheng and his father attending together, Dad Ye was beaming, no sign of any company issues, but she still shared the news Sun Xuehui had leaked to An Ran.

”Mom said someone reported them, so Ye Family got into big trouble, they probably offended someone they shouldn’t have.”

The Ye Family has always been a key supported enterprise in Pingxi City. Over the years, it has been smooth sailing with good profits, but behind this real success, there are plenty of shady dealings. If seriously investigated, Ye Family probably won’t escape.

”You want to switch your reliance from the Ye Family tree to the Lu Family tree now that Ye Family’s tree has fallen?” An Ran finally understood An Sijia’s motive, but An Sijia’s behavior disgusted her.

”Sis, don’t say it so harshly, I just want to make more friends. You know the major I’m studying, to make a name for myself in the future, I need more connections. Now we’re far from home in Nan’an, you’re the only relative I have here, we need to support each other, right?”

”Heh, since when did the An Family’s eldest lady start talking about kinship?” An Ran said with a laugh, full of unspoken mockery.

An Ran’s repeated sarcasm was too much for An Sijia, her face turned cold: ”An Ran, are you giving it or not?”

”Sorry, I don’t have it.” After saying this, An Ran walked straight into the dormitory without looking back.

”An Ran, you’ll regret this sooner or later.” An Sijia stomped her foot in anger and shouted loudly behind her.

Back in class, An Ran shared the Ye Family news with Xiao Xiao, since they were both native Pingxi people, and Ye Family had significant status in Pingxi.

”An Ran, do you think Instructor Mu is helping you avenge?” Xiao Xiao suddenly said.

”Avenge me?” An Ran didn’t understand her meaning.

”Think about it, why did Ye Sheng just bully you yesterday, and today Ye Family gets reported? It’s too much of a coincidence. Besides, I think Instructor Mu has that ability.” Xiao Xiao analyzed for her.
