Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 151: Chapter 162 I am looking for you

Lin Junyang decided that from now on, he would no longer interfere in the matters between Mu Xingfeng and his elder sister, even if his grandfather threatened to transfer him back to the Imperial City, he would not spoil Mu Xingfeng’s happiness. He clearly saw that only An Ran could bring Mu Xingfeng true happiness and joy.

He would never admit that he was bribed by An Ran’s meal.

That evening, when An Ran returned to Longteng Xinyuan after work, the house was brightly lit and there was a faint burnt smell in the air. The sound of a spatula clashing with a pan could be heard from the kitchen.

An Ran put down her backpack and went to the kitchen, seeing Mu Xingfeng surrounded by a cold aura, seriously wielding a spatula. He seemed to be stir-frying rice and eggs in the pan, while the garbage bin beside him was half-filled with something black and indistinguishable.

Seeing An Ran return, Mu Xingfeng said while continuing to stir-fry, ”Go wait outside, it’ll be ready soon.”

”Is this egg fried rice?” An Ran couldn’t help but ask.

Mu Xingfeng gave her a look that said, ”You guessed right.”

An Ran turned her head and twitched her mouth; it was the first time she had seen egg fried rice like this.

Not long after, An Ran heard the sound of stuff being dumped into the garbage bin again, and she quickly ran over to check. Mu Xingfeng was dumping the just-cooked egg fried rice into the bin.

”Why are you dumping it again?”

”Too much salt,” Mu Xingfeng lightly frowned, his face darkened. He finally didn’t burn it this time, but didn’t expect to put too much salt.

He was hoping to cook a meal for An Ran before she returned home, but didn’t expect that he would still be cooking when the little girl came back. He really overestimated himself; the reason why the sweet and sour ribs succeeded was all thanks to the little girl’s guidance during the day.

An Ran stepped forward to take the spatula from Mu Xingfeng’s hand: ”Let me do it.”

Watching the girl swiftly cook a plate of fragrant egg fried rice with a mixture of yellow and white colors, Mu Xingfeng felt a deep sense of helplessness.

The next morning, An Ran woke up to find Mu Xingfeng was not in the room. On the table, there was breakfast and a note, the handwriting was bold and assertive, truly reflecting his character. He mentioned that there were matters at the Guard Team and he had returned there, telling her to have a good meal.

An Ran put down the note and opened the breakfast; it was her favorite buns and millet porridge. The buns were still warm, indicating he hadn’t left long ago.

While eating, the doorbell rang. An Ran thought Mu Xingfeng had forgotten something and came back to retrieve it. She ran to open the door: ”Instructor Mu...”

Seeing that the person outside was not Mu Xingfeng, An Ran’s words got stuck in her throat.

Standing outside the door was a woman in her twenties, very beautiful with neat short hair, dignified oval face, slender brows, standard almond-shaped eyes, delicate nose, and full sexy lips.

The woman was dressed in a well-tailored suit, making her look dignified and elegant.

An Ran recognized her as the woman who was with Mu Xingfeng at the cafe that day, and she politely smiled at her: ”Are you looking for Instructor Mu? He went back to the Guard Team today.”

Lin Ruonan outside the door also faintly smiled: ”I’m not looking for him, I’m looking for you.”

An Ran felt a bad premonition rising inside her, why did it feel like the main wife catching the mistress?

”Well... please come in.” An Ran stepped aside.

Lin Ruonan walked into the house with her back straight. If you looked closely, her body was slightly trembling.

This was Mu Xingfeng’s home, and it was her first time here. The place was filled with his aura everywhere. Passing by the bedroom, she discreetly glanced at both the guest room and the master bedroom.
