Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 45: Chapter 55: Are You a Masochist at Heart?

Sun Beibei saw An Ran and Xiao Xiao being punished, and secretly made a peace sign to Guo Xinyi. Xinyi looked at the two of them eating snacks with a face full of mockery.

Of course, their little actions didn’t escape Mu Xingfeng’s eyes.

In the next round of tidying up the dorms, the students learned quickly. One by one, the quilts were folded neatly into tofu blocks, except for Sun Beibei and Guo Xinyi.

Sun Beibei was okay. At home, she always took care of her own things, and at school, she not only had to tidy up her own bed, but also helped Guo Xinyi with hers. However, Instructor Mu always managed to find something wrong with her work, even though she had already done a good job.

But when she saw Instructor Mu’s cold eyes, she didn’t dare to ask the question that was on the tip of her tongue and could only bow her head and redo the folding.

As for Guo Xinyi, she had never done these things since she was young, and the soft quilt in her hands just couldn’t take shape.

Finally, when An Ran and Xiao Xiao finished the last bag of chips, Mu Xingfeng finally spoke.

”Tonight’s dorm tidying: Sun Beibei and Guo Xinyi, you two didn’t meet the standards. You are both punished to stand watch tonight.”

”What?” Sun Beibei was dumbfounded upon hearing this. Training for a whole day was exhausting enough; now, all she wanted was to lie down and rest. Yet, she was being assigned to stand watch with Guo Xinyi.

She could stand watch with anyone, but why did it have to be Guo Xinyi? She was sure that Xinyi’s half of the night would definitely end up being her duty as well.

No way, she had clearly done a good job. Why did Instructor Mu always find faults? Seeing An Ran and Xiao Xiao’s beds still untouched, Sun Beibei pointed and said, ”Instructor Mu, they haven’t even tidied their dorms. Isn’t that even worse?”

Mu Xingfeng looked at Sun Beibei coolly, and the intimidating pressure made her regret her words the next second: ”Sun Beibei, what is the number one duty of a team member?”

Hearing the low and chilling voice, Sun Beibei instinctively straightened up and said, ”Execute orders.”

”Good, rest.” After saying that, Mu Xingfeng turned and left the dormitory.

At that moment, Sun Beibei’s clothes were already soaked with sweat. Damn, that was frightening. Even her dad wasn’t this scary when he got angry.

”Beibei, you take the first half of the night; I’ll take the second half. I’ll come to switch with you then,” Guo Xinyi said from behind her.

As expected, although Sun Beibei was extremely unwilling, she could only accept her fate and go to stand watch.

Sure enough, by the time the east started to lighten, Guo Xinyi yawned and came to switch shifts.

Dragging her exhausted body, Sun Beibei lay down on the bed. As soon as she entered dreamland, the assembly whistle blew, and she had to get up again.

When An Ran saw Sun Beibei standing in line with huge dark circles under her eyes and looking lackluster, her resentment vanished instantly.

Xiao Xiao gently nudged her: ”Ranran, don’t you think Coach Mu did that on purpose?”

Yesterday, she clearly saw that Sun Beibei’s dorm tidying was quite good. It might not have been up to the standard of a model team member, but it was on par with others who passed. Yet, only she didn’t qualify.

”Ranran, do you think Coach Mu is taking out his anger for you?” Xiao Xiao thought this made sense.

An Ran rolled her eyes: ”Xiao Xiao, which eye of yours saw him taking out his anger for me? Punishing me without discrimination for my sake?”

”Punish you? Come on, who gets punished by eating snacks? Let me tell you, Ranran, although I was quite upset at that time, by the end, I had no grievances at all. Think about it, we’re the only ones who could openly eat snacks in the Guard Team.” Xiao Xiao finished and covered her mouth, laughing secretly.
