Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 39: Chapter 49 Happy Death

”I don’t know.” Although Guo Xinyi said she didn’t know, her face was already blushing, and she lowered her head slightly with a touch of shyness.

”He must be here for you. Think about it, your dad has connections with the Guard Captain. He must’ve talked to him, and the Instructor is here to take care of you.” Sun Beibei said confidently.

Could it be? Listening to Sun Beibei’s words, Guo Xinyi thought it was possible. Otherwise, why would Instructor Mu come here? The instructors seem to have a different dining area.

While thinking this, Guo Xinyi began adjusting her facial expression to appear more natural, and she displayed her best dining etiquette.

When she saw Mu Xingfeng walking towards her out of the corner of her eye, her heart almost leaped out of her chest. Was Instructor Mu really here for her? To dine with her? Or was he here to check on her at her father’s request?

No matter which it was, Guo Xinyi felt she might die of happiness. Any woman would hope that such a remarkable man’s attention would fall on her.

As she was contemplating whether to act reserved, she saw Mu Xingfeng walk past her from behind, his cold and handsome face expressionless, but his gaze landed on An Ran not far away.

Guo Xinyi’s face instantly turned cold. She gave Sun Beibei a fierce glare. Sun Beibei shrank her neck and dug into her meal with her head down.

An Ran was staring at her food on the plate and naturally didn’t notice any of this.

Mu Xingfeng came to An Ran’s side and saw the little girl counting rice grains while eating. His thick, handsome eyebrows furrowed.

”Why aren’t you eating properly?”

A magnetic and sexy voice came from above. An Ran looked up suddenly and saw Mu Xingfeng placing his tray on the table, sitting across from her with an expressionless face, as if the words just now weren’t from him.

”Huh?” An Ran responded instinctively.

”Eat properly, there’s training this afternoon.” He said and then buried his head in his meal.

Mu Xingfeng ate quickly but not rudely. On the contrary, it was with a kind of noble elegance that was very pleasing to watch.

An Ran thought secretly, does being handsome make everything look pleasant?

Xiao Xiao gently nudged An Ran’s arm from the side. ”Ranran, hurry up and eat.” Didn’t you see the instructor came over to watch? How dare you leave any food?

Of course, An Ran knew what Xiao Xiao meant. She whispered, ”I want to, but my stomach is really uncomfortable. I can’t take another bite.”

After speaking, she symbolically took another bite of food, chewing it like wax.

In less than ten minutes, Mu Xingfeng had finished all the food on his tray. He stood up and said, ”Assembly in five minutes.”

Then, he put a bowl of porridge beside An Ran.

Honestly, the moment Mu Xingfeng arrived, she noticed the bowl of porridge on his tray. After a night of drinking, a bowl of porridge would be perfect for her upset stomach. Unfortunately, they had cucumber and egg soup for lunch today.

An Ran thought she would drink some soup after Mu Xingfeng left and call it a day, but she didn’t expect him to give his porridge to her.

Seeing Mu Xingfeng walk away with his empty tray, An Ran didn’t hesitate and gulped down the bowl of porridge in no time.

Xiao Xiao teasingly looked at An Ran from the side. ”How’s the porridge? Come on, be honest. Are you hiding something from me?”

An Ran wiped her mouth and said indifferently, ”What could it be? Didn’t I tell you everything already?”
