Peerless Medical Emperor

By this point, Wu Tian and his men had already taken control of Medical God Island. He turned to them and furiously lectured.

“We’ve established a firm foothold on Medical God Island, and now we’re going to stand against Chen Qingdi as equals. When the time comes, we’ll make sure he dies a miserable death. We have to be fully prepared. We can’t let Chen Qingdi’s people launch a successful counterattack.”

His Dog Head Military Advisor, Wu Neng, immediately assured him, “Just leave everything to us, Island Master. You can rest easy. We are fully prepared. Even if Chen Qingdi returns, he won’t be able to gain any advantage.”

Wu Tian offered him some words of encouragement and put him in charge of all the preparations.

Wu Tian knew that while Medical God Island was now under his control, it wasn’t enough. ‘I need my power to completely permeate this place, to seize control of all its resources. Only then can I truly stand against Chen Qingdi.’

“Dog Head Military Advisor, handle all the arrangements. You must guarantee our safety. There can be no mistakes,” Wu Tian stressed again.

“Yes, Island Master!” Wu Neng replied respectfully.

Next, Wu Tian began directing his men to move out, seize all the strongholds on Medical God Island, and suppress anyone who resisted.

“Reporting, Island Master! We have seized control of all the strongholds. Everyone who resisted has been suppressed,” one of his men reported upon returning.

“Very good.” Wu Tian nodded. “What we need to do next is to take complete control of this island.”

He knew Chen Qingdi had left Medical God Island, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t be back. ‘We have to be perfectly prepared and give him absolutely no openings.’

In the days that followed, Wu Tian led his men in constant training and preparation for war, subjecting them to high-intensity drills almost every day.

Under Wu Tian’s leadership, their strength grew steadily, and Wu Tian himself matured throughout the process.

「Several months passed in a flash.」

Wu Tian and his men had prepared for everything. They were now fully ready.

“Island Master, we’ve finished all preparations,” Wu Neng reported as he approached.

“Excellent.” Wu Tian nodded. “We will soon face Chen Qingdi as equals. There can be no mistakes.”

“Yes, sir!” the men responded in unison.

At that moment, Wu Tian was sitting in his office, planning for the future. ‘I’ve always wanted to reclaim the title of Island Master of Medical God Island. Now, with Lone Wolf as a hostage and so many medical experts in my hands, Chen Qingdi will have to think twice before making a move. He won’t dare to turn on me so easily.’

As he was contemplating his plans, the door opened and Third Madam Zhu Shasha walked in. Her face was alight with joy as she looked at Wu Tian. “Tian,” she said, “I heard you’re the Island Master again. That’s wonderful!”

Wu Tian felt a sense of revulsion at her words. He deliberately avoided her gaze and said, “Third Madam, what are you doing here?”

Zhu Shasha seemed oblivious to his strange reaction. She smiled and said, “I came to see you! You’ve suffered so much. My time as a slave has left me traumatized.”

Wu Tian smiled bitterly. “Yes, I’ve suffered. But that’s all in the past now.”

At his words, Zhu Shasha’s eyes suddenly filled with tears. “Tian,” she asked, “do you find me disgusting now? If not, why has your heart changed?”

He glanced at her, feeling a pang of pity, but he steeled himself and spoke anyway.

“You know that Chen Qingdi threw me in the dungeons. Not long after that… he had me castrated. I’m a eunuch now. I can’t be intimate with you.”

Hearing this, Zhu Shasha looked as though she’d been struck by lightning. Then, she fainted.

Wu Tian froze. He hadn’t expected the news to make her faint. He quickly got up to check on her and found she was unconscious.

A wave of guilt and remorse washed over him. ‘I shouldn’t have been so cruel to her, but I don’t want her to sink any deeper into this abyss.’

He silently kept watch by Zhu Shasha’s side, waiting for her to wake up.

After a long while, Zhu Shasha finally woke up. When she saw Wu Tian, her tears started flowing again.

Zhu Shasha looked at Wu Tian with a horrified expression, asking in disbelief, “Wh-what? You were castrated? When did this happen?”

Wu Tian smiled bitterly. “It was shortly after Chen Qingdi threw me in the dungeons. He had me castrated. I became a eunuch.”

Zhu Shasha felt a wave of dizziness. Her body swayed, and she almost fell to the ground. Wu Tian quickly came over and supported her.

“I… how could I not know about this?” Zhu Shasha still couldn’t quite believe it.

“You were Chen Qingdi’s plaything at the time. He certainly wouldn’t have told you this news,” Wu Tian said coldly.

“This is all because of the Island Master position… I… I shouldn’t have come looking for you.” Tears streamed down Zhu Shasha’s face. “You’re a eunuch… I… I really can’t be intimate with you.”

Wu Tian gave a faint smile. “You don’t have to blame yourself. This isn’t your fault. If anyone is to blame, it’s Chen Qingdi for being so vicious.”

Zhu Shasha asked through her tears, “Then what am I supposed to do now?”

Wu Tian said calmly, “Don’t worry. I will find a way to reclaim the title of Island Master of Medical God Island, and then I’ll help you regain your freedom.”

Zhu Shasha looked at Wu Tian, touched. “You… you’re really willing to help me?”

Wu Tian nodded. “Of course. We are both victims. We should help each other.”

Zhu Shasha suddenly threw her arms around Wu Tian, crying as she said, “I… I’m so scared. So scared that I’ll be controlled by Chen Qingdi forever.”

Wu Tian gently patted her on the shoulder. “Don’t worry. I will resolve this matter as soon as possible.”

Zhu Shasha shook her head. “I’m fine. I’m just… just so disappointed.”

Wu Tian knew what she was referring to. He also knew his news was a huge blow to Zhu Shasha. But it was also the truth.

A fact he could not change.

Zhu Shasha wiped her tears and said, “I want to leave this place.”

Wu Tian was taken aback. “Leave here? Where will you go?”

Zhu Shasha was silent for a moment, then said, “I want to go back to Yangcheng City. I want to spend the rest of my life there.”

Wu Tian was a little surprised. He knew that Yangcheng City was a very remote place. But he hadn’t thought Zhu Shasha would choose it as the place to live out her life.

He asked, “Third Madam, are you sure?”

Zhu Shasha nodded. “I’m sure. I’ve thought it over. I want to leave this place. I want to start my life over.”
