Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 1068: Chapter 70: Active Request for Battle

Shortly after Kisame Hoshigaki left, a vine grew from the ground, and the true form of White Zetsu returned.

”There’s new information. Oh, it’s quite lively here.”

White Zetsu glanced around at everyone, even though he already knew what was happening inside the base; he was just pretending to be ignorant.

”Just tell us what’s going on.”

Obito was not in a good mood, and seeing White Zetsu acting dumb made him feel even worse.

”I found traces of Konan.”

As soon as he said this, several pairs of eyes turned to White Zetsu.

”Where is she?”

”She’s still in the Land of Rain. She seems to be getting help from some family in the Land of Rain, which is why she’s been able to stay hidden for so long. Besides, she’s always been wary of me and never stays in one place for long.”

Konan was once one of the main members of the Akatsuki Organization, so she knows the personnel of the Akatsuki very well, and she’s also aware of how strong White Zetsu’s reconnaissance ability is.

”Can you pinpoint her location?”

”No, several of my clones have already been killed. Now I can only follow her from afar, and she could be lost at any moment.”

Hearing White Zetsu’s report, Obito fell silent.

”I’ll go track her down.”

Deidara suddenly spoke up, voluntarily asking to participate in capturing Konan.

”You’re not good at illusion techniques, so...”

Obito obviously felt Deidara was unreliable, not in terms of strength, but worried that Deidara might blow up Konan.

”If I go with him, there should be no problem.”

Deidara pointed at Sasuke, who was wrapped in bandages and looked puzzled.

”...”

Sasuke remained silent. If it were anyone else, they would have said they were injured and couldn’t go.

”Sasuke is maintaining his body with medication and can’t fight for now.”

Obito still didn’t agree to let Deidara go capture Konan.

”That’s not an issue.”

Su Xiao spoke, a glass bottle slipping from his sleeve that he tossed to Sasuke; it contained over ten pills.

Su Xiao understood what Deidara meant. The reason this guy volunteered for the mission was to repay a life-saving debt to Obito, specifically related to the Shuyan Village incident.

Though Deidara is a rogue ninja, it doesn’t mean he is ungrateful. Previously, Deidara had thought of leaving the Akatsuki Organization, but he owed a debt to Obito. Now, he’s ready to repay this debt.

”In that case...”

Obito pressed his elbows on the stone table, hands intertwined, pondering something unclear.

Undoubtedly, Obito would very much like to capture Konan himself, but he can’t easily leave the Country of Fire now. The reason is simple: representatives from the other four great ninja villages have been sent, and these representatives are gathered in Konoha Village, discussing cooperation on ninja village alliances.

In such a situation, a ninja world war could break out at any moment. Moreover, there is a significant secret beneath the Akatsuki Headquarters.

The things underneath the Akatsuki Headquarters concern whether Obito can defeat the Ninja Union Army, or rather, whether he can stall them.

Actually, from the start, Obito never intended to kill all the ninja to win the war. What he wanted was not victory in war, but to complete his plan.

The war was just a part of his plan, and only by doing this could he gather all the ninja together to realize his plan.

Due to Rose’s intrusion, Obito won’t leave the Akatsuki Headquarters for a while. In this situation, sending a Deidara + Sasuke combo to capture Konan is indeed a fine choice.

Within the Akatsuki Organization, Deidara has the strongest mobility; he has flying ability, and his combat strength is undeniable.

Sasuke’s combat strength is also not weak, although he hasn’t fully healed from his injuries and hasn’t yet transplanted Itachi’s Sharingan, which has caused his vision to deteriorate severely.

Now Sasuke’s vision is such that he can’t recognize friends from ten meters away, can’t differentiate genders from fifteen meters, and can’t tell humans from beasts from twenty meters.

Fortunately, he hasn’t gone completely blind, and his pupil power has recovered significantly thanks to the Original Hashirama Cell. At least, using Susanoo and Amaterasu is no problem, and illusion techniques are even less of an issue.

The Deidara + Sasuke combo, as long as there are no internal conflicts, should have no problem capturing Konan alive.

Even so, Obito still felt uneasy. Just then, another White Zetsu emerged from the ground. The right side of this White Zetsu’s body was pitch black: Black Zetsu had arrived.

”I’ll go with them.”

Black Zetsu’s voice was as hoarse as ever, and he hadn’t revealed himself for a long time.

”Then set off as soon as possible.”

With Black Zetsu’s addition, Obito felt much more at ease. Compared to White Zetsu, Black Zetsu, though somewhat enigmatic, seemed much more reliable.

In fact, this was true. Black Zetsu, this cunning old fox, while before revealing his fangs, is still relatively reliable.

The usually low-key Black Zetsu revealed himself because it concerned the Rinnegan, and he knew Obito really couldn’t leave the Country of Fire right now.

Soon, Deidara, Sasuke, and Black & White Zetsu left the base. With this lineup, there’s not much chance of Konan escaping.

Throughout, Obito never asked Su Xiao to go capture Konan, not because he doubted Su Xiao, but because Su Xiao’s left arm was hanging in front of his chest, clearly belonging to an injured person.

Of course, after Shinfuru’s ’complete restoration,’ Su Xiao’s injuries had healed by seventy percent. Aside from the arm injury that couldn’t be treated, other injuries could heal in a few days of rest, which shows the power of 80 points in True Stamina Attribute.

Compared to Konan’s whereabouts, Su Xiao was more interested in obtaining news about the outsider from White Zetsu.

Who knows what kind of being this outsider is, human? Insect Tribe? Void Race?

Regardless of what it is, what Su Xiao most wants to know is how this outsider was able within just 3 hours to jump from the Land of Earth to within the borders of the Land of Water.

Indeed, the latest information from White Zetsu is that the outsider appeared in the Land of Earth, but three hours later, the outsider was reported in the Land of Water.

Understand, traveling from the Land of Earth to the Land of Water spans the entire Naruto map diagonally, crossing the Grass Country, Country of Fire, Whirlpool Country, Country of Bears, and Iron Country, five countries of various sizes.

Not only that, but it also includes large sections of ocean. How did this outsider manage it in just three hours? Teleportation Technique? That distance is too great.

This led Su Xiao to think that the outsider’s strength might not be immense, but he could be as slippery as an eel, with tremendous mobility.

Considering this, the so-called outsider is likely a Contractor from another Paradise, infiltrating the Derivative World of Reincarnation Paradise.

Such infiltration must have its purpose; what type of Contractor would another Paradise send?

A Contractor with immense strength? Unlikely, as another Paradise wouldn’t send extremely powerful Contractors into the Naruto World—it would require a significant cost.

Based on past experiences, the targets Su Xiao has to hunt are strong, but there’s a limit. For example, Su Xiao is currently third tier, the enemy might be of top tier within third tier, but not fourth tier.

When attributes are similar, Contractors are by no means a match for Hunters. Contractors are more PVE, suited for team cooperation and battling scripted creatures, while Hunters are PVP, adept at fighting Contractors. Of course, this also means that in a 1-on-1 situation with scripted characters, Hunters have an advantage as well.

Both Hunters and Contractors are just terms; strength depends on individual abilities.

There are exceptions among Contractors, such as solo Contractors with strong dueling capabilities, like Rose.

The outsider equals a spy, and a spy must undoubtedly have great concealment ability and mobility.

This thought leads Su Xiao to believe that if he wants to remove this outsider, the difficulty lies in finding the person and understanding their abilities to track them down.
