Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 337: Chapter 38: Arrival

Woo~ Woo~.

The sea train slowly pulled into the station at Enies Lobby, and within the third carriage, Su Xiao looked out the window towards Enies Lobby.

Enies Lobby consists of three interconnected islands, with the foremost being the ’Front Island’, which serves as the main entrance.

Behind the Front Island is the Main Island, where the Tribunal is built, responsible for judging prisoners sent to Enies Lobby.

The Tribunal is just a formality; all prisoners sent to Enies Lobby are already deemed guilty, so the Tribunal’s judgments are always rushed.

Behind the Main Island is Enies Lobby itself, where the Tower of Justice is constructed.

The three islands are connected by suspension bridges in sequence: Front Island, Main Island, Enies Lobby.

The Enies Lobby at the very back is the core, while the Front Island and Main Island are merely two layers of defense.

Behind Enies Lobby is a bridge named the Bridge of Hesitation, which connects to the Gates of Justice. Once a prisoner is sent to the Gates of Justice, there’s no escape, as a Great Vortex lies beyond, which the World Government uses to tightly connect Navy Headquarters, Enies Lobby, and Impel Down Prison, the three main departments.

The process of transporting a prisoner is as follows: initially land on Front Island, then the prisoner is escorted to the Main Island for judgment, after which they are sent to the Justice Tower, held in the lower levels there.

During their detention, Enies Lobby liaises with the Navy or Impel Down, who then send personnel to the Gates of Justice. Enies Lobby is responsible for escorting the prisoner to the Gates of Justice.

It takes two to three days for a prisoner to travel from the Front Island to the Gates of Justice, but this duration is shortened for a major criminal.

However, once a prisoner enters Enies Lobby, the World Government tends to relax, as no one has ever dared to rescue a prisoner from there.

Yet shortly, a group of daring individuals will storm Enies Lobby, and that too when the World Government isn’t prepared.

Stepping off the sea train, Su Xiao found himself on Front Island.

Luffy and others pressed Nico Robin and Franky off the sea train, with special agents surrounding the area.

”Hello, are you Mister Bai Ye?”

A tall woman with long pink hair approached, dressed in a red suit and wearing black gloves.

”I am.”

Seeing her face, Su Xiao felt a sense of familiarity. He quickly recalled who she was; someone from the Navy.

”I’ve been expecting you. I’m Navy Headquarters Captain Tashigi.”

This beautiful Navy Captain had a cigarette in her mouth, her demeanor fairly welcoming.

Su Xiao was somewhat puzzled as to why someone from the Navy was here to receive him, and where were the CP0 agents?

Before he could ask, a prompt from Reincarnation Paradise appeared, indicating that both his main and side missions were complete.

Main Mission: Reach Enies Lobby (Completed, no reward).

Side Mission: Capture Nico Robin (Completed, reward 5000 Paradise coins.)

The side mission vanished after granting 5000 Paradise coins, but the main mission had a continuation.

Main Mission: Enies Lobby Showdown

Difficulty Level: Lv.12

Mission Brief: Participate in the showdown at Enies Lobby and obtain the Blueprint of Netherworld.

Mission Information: The Enies Lobby showdown is expected to start in three days.

Mission Deadline: Four days.

Mission Reward: 5 attribute points, 14000 Paradise coins.

Mission Penalty: Deduction of 28000 Paradise coins.

...

Seeing the main mission, Su Xiao’s eyes lit up, already feeling assured of his victory.

[Hint: Detected that the Hunter already possesses the Blueprint of Netherworld. The mission will automatically complete in three days.]

[Hint: As the Blueprint of Netherworld is a Special Item, upon commencement of the showdown, it will be exposed to the perception of all Contractors.]

Su Xiao nodded thoughtfully. When he previously found the Blueprint of Netherworld inside Franky’s body, he had already guessed that it was a mission item because its description seemed too peculiar.

[Blueprint of Netherworld]

Quality: None

Type: Blueprint.

Rating: None

Description: Design blueprint of the Ancient Weapons, requires knowledge of Ancient Text to view specific content.

...

Without quality and rating, under normal circumstances, the [Blueprint of Netherworld] should at least be an item of Purple Quality or higher.

Su Xiao did not waste his efforts; he had gotten ahead of all contractors. While others had not yet received the mission, he had already completed it. Once the time expired, his mission would automatically complete.

During the showdown, it would be troublesome for Contractors to sense the location of the Blueprint of Netherworld, as it would inevitably lead to a battle.

As long as the blueprint was in his hands, those Contractors would certainly come after him.

Su Xiao looked up at the towering Justice Tower, a rather suitable location.

”Mister Bai Ye, Mister Bai Ye.”

The tall and elegant Tashigi called out repeatedly, appearing slightly displeased.

”Hmm?”

Su Xiao, deep in thought about his next steps, hadn’t noticed Tashigi’s calls.

”Tashigi is angry.”

”Oh.”

Su Xiao replied indifferently, and Tashigi exhaled a puff of smoke.

”Regarding the earlier proposal, Mister Bai Ye, have you considered it? We’ve already discussed with the CP Department that as a talent in research, you’re not suited to stay on Enies Lobby.”

Hearing Tashigi’s words, Su Xiao furrowed his brows.

”Then what do you mean?”

”Mister Bai Ye, there’s a Navy secret base near Enies Lobby. We intend to send you there. Rest assured, it’s only half an hour’s journey.”

Su Xiao pondered silently; it seemed the Navy and the CP Department had reached some sort of agreement.

”You should be aware of my requirements, right?”

”Understood. For every 2000 bombs manufactured, provide Mister Bai Ye with a Good Fast Blade for collection.”

Tashigi readily agreed to Su Xiao’s terms, indicating that the Navy’s high command had already settled this matter.

”Alright, but I have an additional request. I need to return to Enies Lobby in three days.”

Tashigi didn’t agree immediately; instead, she excused herself and took the Telephone Worm to one side.

Minutes later, Tashigi returned, ”Mister Bai Ye, the higher-ups have agreed to your request. Shall we depart now?”

Su Xiao glanced at Enies Lobby. Although he didn’t want to leave the main battleground here, circumstances compelled him to do so, and returning later wouldn’t be a big problem.

Following Tashigi to a large military ship, as he boarded, Su Xiao saw an elderly female Navy member aboard, causing his pupils to contract sharply.

”What’s she doing here? This is not good.”

He murmured, realizing he might have met a challenge.

The elderly female Navy member on the ship was named Crane, a Vice Admiral and Chief of Staff with extremely high intelligence, a very troublesome old lady to deal with.

Su Xiao would rather encounter a Naval Admiral than face Vice Admiral Crane.

”Is this the researcher Bai Ye we are escorting? Hello, I am Crane.”

Vice Admiral Crane’s voice sounded slightly aged, yet her eyes were sharp.

After scrutinizing Su Xiao, Vice Admiral Crane mentally labeled him as untrustworthy and subject to further evaluation.
