Chapter 327: Chapter 28: Brutality and Ruthless Bu Wang

Su Xiao wouldn’t tell Luffy that the Netherworld blueprints were with Franky.

Firstly, the CP9 members didn’t inform him about the mission of the Netherworld, and secondly, he couldn’t explain how he knew the exact whereabouts of the Netherworld blueprints; there were too many points to cover.

So Su Xiao simply didn’t mention it, instead subtly guiding the CP9 members to quickly find the Netherworld Design Diagram.

Casting blame on the Straw Hat Pirates is utterly unnecessary, especially with other Contractors helping, it remains uncertain if the blame will stick, and it might backfire.

In the morning at No.1 Dock, Su Xiao proposed directly capturing Iceberg. Kaku disagreed as it didn’t align with the plan, but Luffy decisively agreed, showing strong approval.

The final operation in the City of Seven Seas was not planned by Luffy and the others, but rather by their superior, Spandam.

Although Spandam is the leader of CP9, he rose to his position relying on his father’s connections. Flattery is Spandam’s forte, in terms of plan-making, he’s exceptionally dull-witted.

The CP9 members have been lurking in the City of Seven Seas for years, know the place inside out, and have gained the deep trust of the shipwright foremen.

The Galley-La Company’s combat effectiveness consists of three people: Paulie, Shipwright Bubble, and Tilestone, these three shipwrights.

Though these three have some prowess, they are far inferior to Luffy and the others. If Kaku and Luffy chose to launch a surprise attack, they could deal with these three instantly.

Su Xiao’s plan was as follows: once the operation begins, Kalifa will monitor Iceberg and use her secretary privileges to stabilize the situation, Kaku and Luffy will deal with the three shipwrights, Su Xiao and Bruno will capture Robin, with the ultimate goal being Iceberg.

The whole operation for Luffy and the others will take no more than half an hour. One hour into the operation, they can leave the City of Seven Seas, and after leaving, everything will be easier.

Su Xiao’s proposed plan was highly agreed upon by Luffy, actually, it was his idea too. Spandam’s plan was too drawn-out, taking a total of two days.

There is no comparison between two days and one hour, but when Luffy reported the idea, Spandam resolutely refused, claiming his plan was the only perfect one as he is the superior.

At that moment, Su Xiao really wanted to kill that useless Spandam; perhaps precisely because fools like him were in command, CP9 ultimately failed.

A pig teammate is not the most terrifying, a pig leader is the truly frightening one.

If things continue under normal circumstances, Bruno will attack Iceberg with Robin tonight, and cast the blame on the Straw Hat Pirates, not making a move to control Iceberg until tomorrow. This gives the Straw Hat Pirates buffer time and allows them to do a lot.

This dragging situation wouldn’t be permitted by Su Xiao. If the plan to escort Robin fails, he will face being teleported out of the Pirate World, and the benefits of this Derivative World have yet to begin.

Su Xiao tried to contact CP0’s Zero. Upon hearing that the plan could be shortened from two days to one hour and after thoroughly understanding the situation in the City of Seven Seas, Zero was furious and went to Spandam.

It’s unclear what means Zero used, but eventually, Spandam proactively contacted Luffy and agreed to the plan, but he also threatened Su Xiao, because Su Xiao had interfered with his plan, and he still believed his plan was perfect.

The final operation plan was nailed down at nine this morning: Kalifa monitors Iceberg, Kaku and Luffy deal with the shipwrights, Bruno and Su Xiao capture Nico Robin.

Now that Nico Robin has been successfully captured, Su Xiao only needs to sit back and watch.

The operation’s start time is seven in the evening; during the day, there’s a crowd and it’s easy to slip up. The sea train is ready; once the mission is accomplished, CP9’s main members will immediately withdraw from the City of Seven Seas, with the rest cleaned up by ordinary agents.

Now, all that remains is to wait. As soon as it reaches seven in the evening, everyone will spring into action.

In a residential house, this was a property anonymously bought by Bruno, it’s very safe.

Bruno was dealing with a shoulder wound, Robin was sitting beside him, guarded by Bubute Ni, not by Su Xiao’s orders but Bu Wang’s volunteer duty.

Bubute Ni doesn’t understand what it means to cherish tender feelings; if it truly cherishes tender feelings, they must be for a pretty little female dog, not for Robin~. If Robin dares to make any moves, Bu Wang will directly bite.

Su Xiao leaned on a lounge chair, a pocket watch in his hand.

”I won’t run, so there’s no need for a guard.”

Robin suddenly spoke, looking somewhat helpless.

Bu Wang bared its teeth as if warning Robin not to speak.

”Bu Bu isn’t guarding you.”

”Uh? Then?”

Robin didn’t look too happy, being stared at by the mighty Bubute Ni wasn’t pleasant.

”It has its eyes set on your boots; you can choose to take off the boots and let it gnaw.”

Hearing Su Xiao’s words, the once resigned oneself to fate Robin suddenly looked awkward, hesitated for a long time, and finally took off the boots, tossing them at her feet.

Bu Wang bit through the boots in two bites, its gaze once again fixed on Robin’s other boot.

Robin sighed and took off the other boot...

Su Xiao closed his eyes, reclining back in the lounge chair, and after a moment, Robin’s slightly awkward voice came through.

”Uh... You must be called Bai Ye, Mister Bai Ye. Please don’t let your dog stare at me, I have nothing left for it to chew.”

Su Xiao opened his eyes impatiently, but upon seeing Robin’s appearance, paused for a moment.

Robin was wearing a bra on top and a super short skirt on the bottom, now curling up on the bed.

And Bu Wang was staring at Robin’s bra, its front full of broken shoes and clothes.

”Bu Bu, this is the mission target; no chewing.”

Bubute Ni ran to Su Xiao’s feet, lay down by Su Xiao’s leg, and seeing this, Robin breathed a sigh of relief.

The room was now only filled with the sound of breathing, becoming utterly silent.

”Zzz~.”

The sound of snoring came, Su Xiao lifted his head to look around and found neither of the other two were asleep, looked down, and found it was Bubute Ni.

Bu Wang had no worries, it would sleep when bored, was always very happy, sought food from Su Xiao when hungry, ate and slept, hid during battles, and chewed things when bored.

Though life’s simple, Bubute Ni lived it with great joy.

The wait made time drag; Su Xiao closed his eyes, meditating, both sensing his surroundings and settling in his realizations of Sword Technique.

”Time’s almost up.”

After some unknown amount of time, Bruno suddenly spoke, and Su Xiao’s eyes opened; picking up his pocket watch, he found it was already half-past six in the evening, with the sky outside the room gradually darkening.

”Luffy and the others should be arriving soon.”

Luffy and Kaku would meet them here, while Kalifa monitored Iceberg.

A half-hour later.

”Knock, knock~ knock~.”

A rhythmic knock was heard on the door.

”Bar.”

Bruno spoke.

”Rum.”

Luffy’s voice came from outside; Bruno opened the door, and Luffy and Kaku arrived right on time, exactly at seven in the evening.

Luffy was already dressed in a black suit, wearing a black fedora, with that white chequered hat resting on his shoulder.

Luffy and Kaku appearing on time here signified that those three shipwrights had been dealt with smoothly.

”Everyone’s here, let’s start the operation.”

”Five years of effort will bear fruit today.”

CP9 members had all switched to black suits; Bruno walked over to a wall, pressing it with one hand.

Crunch~, a stone door opened in the wall, with Bruno first stepping in, followed closely by Luffy and the others.

Su Xiao poked his head into the doorway, finding it a slightly distorted space, pale cyan in color.

After Robin entered the doorway, Su Xiao also stepped in, and the stone door closed.

...

In the study of Iceberg’s home, in the central district of the City of Water.

Iceberg was seated at the desk, sketching a draft, a hobby of his from years of shipbuilding.

Creak~.

The sound of a door opening came, and Iceberg instinctively turned his head to look at the door, but the study door hadn’t opened.

When Iceberg turned back, he found several people had appeared in the study.

”You all?”

Iceberg was about to speak when Kaku rushed forward, grabbing Iceberg’s collar with one hand, pinning him to the ground, and forcefully restraining one arm behind his back, with Iceberg’s face pressed against the floor.

”Mr. Iceberg, there’s something I want to confirm with you.”

Luffy was in a great mood; their five-year infiltration at the City of Seven Seas wasn’t just for carrying out this mission with lightning speed. They already possessed all the intelligence, dragging things out was a waste of their five-year hard-earned gains.
