Chapter 332: Chapter 33: Sea Train

”You said earlier that you weren’t part of the World Government either and that, like me, you have something the World Government desires?”

Robin composed her thoughts, the mindset of desiring death temporarily receded, and the symptoms of her Cotard’s syndrome eased, with other accompanying symptoms gradually diminishing.

”Yes, but my treatment differs from yours. You will be imprisoned by the World Government. Don’t worry; they probably won’t let you die. They will extract all the knowledge from your mind through interrogation.”

Robin turned her head, seemingly indifferent to the prospect of being interrogated.

”I’m not afraid of death, let alone interrogation.”

Su Xiao was speechless. This girl might not have seen others being interrogated. Death is not as frightening compared to torture.

”Well then, can you imagine what it feels like to have your skin peeled off, inch by inch?”

Robin’s expression started to look unsettled.

”I’m not skilled at physical interrogation, but I know a bit. With your endurance, lasting two hours would be a miracle.”

Su Xiao introduced some interrogation methods to Robin, whose face became increasingly pale. She knew she might go through these, but she would never reveal the knowledge in her mind to the World Government, knowledge her mother and the scholars of Ohara exchanged their lives for.

Robin knew the whereabouts of the Ancient Weapon Pluto, not through translating blueprints but because she knew the precise location of an already built Pluto.

It’s obvious which is simpler, building a new Pluto or refurbishing an existing one.

Robin knew more than just the whereabouts of Pluto; she knew some secrets about the Celestial Dragons as well.

After hearing Su Xiao’s description of the interrogation methods, Robin curled up. She had never imagined humans could be so cruel.

”Will I really go through this?”

Robin wasn’t gullible; she harbored doubts about Su Xiao’s words.

”No, you won’t go through those.”

Robin relaxed a bit inside.

”You will endure an even harsher kind.”

Su Xiao smiled at Robin; in fact, their situations were quite similar. From the moment he encountered Kalifa, it was destined that he would have dealings with the World Government.

Su Xiao used a very clever method to communicate with the World Government, eventually cooperating in a semi-transactional mode.

Robin’s initial approach was somewhat unwise, first abandoning her will to survive, then voluntarily exposing her weaknesses.

If it were the usual Robin, she probably wouldn’t have made such mistakes. Perhaps she was agitated before, encountering the Navy Admiral Kuzan.

”Franky is back; our conversation time is limited.”

Su Xiao looked at Franky approaching from afar. He had a plan that, if successful, would yield enormous returns, and if it failed, there would be little loss.

”We?” Robin accurately captured the difference in Su Xiao’s words.

”Yes, we. If you don’t want severe torture, you can only cooperate with me.”

Robin bowed her head, deep in thought. She previously thought being taken to Enies Lobby would at most result in execution. She considered the possibility of torture, but she hadn’t imagined some methods would be so perverse.

Robin was discouraged; she started to fear going to Enies Lobby.

”What do you plan to do, or rather, what is your purpose?”

Su Xiao quietly handed Robin an alchemy bomb, explaining its usage.

”Consider it a gift. Hide it well so the special agents of the CP department can’t find it. As for where to hide it, you should have plenty of places.”

This alchemy bomb meant a lot to Robin at the moment. Upon reaching the Judicial City, she would certainly be fitted with Sea-stone handcuffs, which would render a Devil Fruit User like herself powerless. At that time, this alchemy bomb would be her safety net.

”Why help me?”

Up to now, Robin still felt Su Xiao harbored ill intentions.

”Sympathy for fellow outcasts; helping each other is the right thing to do.”

Robin said nothing, but Su Xiao’s words shocked Bubu Wang. Bubu Wang looked at Robin sympathetically; knowing its master’s usual style, this long-legged, female primate might be in for some misfortune.

Robin hesitated for a long time but eventually hid the alchemy bomb. Su Xiao sat aside, saying nothing more.

Soon, Luffy and others came out of the ruins, escorting Franky. Franky was no match for them, being restrained by Kalifa with the stinging whip.

”Let go of me. I’m not Caddy Flam at all, you’ve got the wrong person.”

Franky was badly injured, but being a semi-cyborg, as long as his vital parts were unharmed, he could still fight on.

If it were a mano-a-mano fistfight, Franky would never feel intimidated.

”Not Caddy Flam? Then you’re not a disciple of Fishman Tom either?”

Luffy’s words left Franky speechless. He could deny being Caddy Flam but could never deny being a disciple of Fishman Tom.

That Fishman raised him and taught him the knowledge of shipbuilding.

”Are you from the World Government?”

”You don’t need to know.”

Kaku pushed Franky, who staggered forward.

Su Xiao rose from the pile of stones, with Robin following closely. Compared to people from CP9, Robin now trusted Su Xiao more.

”Get ready to head back; our mission is complete.”

Kalifa chuckled softly, looking at Robin and Franky, both targets captured.

They escorted Franky and Robin, heading straight for the City of Seven Seas’ Sea Train Station.

As the name suggests, a Sea Train is a train capable of traveling on the sea, with tracks floating on the water. This train races along sea tracks, moving at a speed ten times that of a ship and overcoming all adverse weather conditions.

The distance from the City of Seven Seas to Enies Lobby is short; upon reaching the Sea Train Station, a sea train was already waiting.

Because the operation was brief, the Grass Sea Pirate Group hadn’t caught up; if not for Barry’s unexpected interference, Su Xiao could have left the City of Seven Seas unnoticed.

”We’ve been expecting you, sirs.”

A special agent leader stepped forward, part of CP8, not on par with CP9’s status.

”No unexpected events?”

Luffy acted with caution; otherwise, he wouldn’t have been lurking in the City of Seven Seas for five years.

”No unexpected events.”

”That’s good, prepare for departure.”

The Sea Train resembled a regular train. Su Xiao entered the third carriage, designated for VIPs, with spacious and extremely comfortable seats.

Only seven people occupied the large carriage. Su Xiao took a seat, sitting cross-legged and began playing a puzzle game on his tablet.

”Let me go; do you have to keep me tied up?”

Franky was very annoyed, noticing that fellow captive Robin had already sat down.

”Of course not.”

Kalifa’s response satisfied Franky.

”Come, tie him up and throw him into the back carriage.”

Franky’s expression went stiff as three special agents rushed forward, first chaining him with an iron chain, then putting him in a large cloth bag, leaving only his head out, and tying the bag with rope.

”Hey, you bastards, this treatment is way too lousy.”

Franky was soon carried away, now only able to wiggle.
