Reincarnation Paradise Park

Chapter 314: Chapter 15: 6 Forms

In an employee dormitory of Galley-La Company, there were more than a dozen beds. Some shipworkers without fixed abodes would live here, as it was considered public property.

Su Xiao had just walked into the dormitory when he was greeted by a choking odor—a mix of foot odor, sweat, alcohol, and subtly, the scent of the sea.

Stepping back out of the dormitory, the smell reminded him of the familiar scent of his middle school dormitory.

Inside, more than a dozen shipworkers were playing cards, their shouts audible from a distance.

Su Xiao frowned. This place wasn’t suitable for rest. It wasn’t that he was picky, but the noisy environment would affect his work.

Turning to leave the dormitory, Su Xiao found a nearby hotel to stay in. While not luxurious, the bed was clean, and the room had no unpleasant odors.

The sound of water came from the bathroom—Bubute Ni was bathing, as this Dog Star People loved cleanliness.

Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Su Xiao took out the Rokushiki ’Shave’ Training Method from his storage space. Although this paper was notarized by Reincarnation Paradise, it could not be used directly and couldn’t be taken out of the Pirate World.

The paper in Su Xiao’s hand was not a Skill Scroll and couldn’t be used directly; to master ’Shave,’ he needed to research it on his own.

What is the difficulty in learning Rokushiki? After Su Xiao’s research, he found that the various skills of Rokushiki are not hard; the difficulty lies in achieving a transcendent physique.

Before learning Rokushiki, the Navy or CP Department needs to undergo rigorous training to greatly enhance their body strength to the level that can bear the Body Technique of Rokushiki.

The requirement for body strength, if converted to the attributes of Reincarnation Paradise, is approximately: Power 25 to 30 points, Agility 25 to 30 points, Stamina 25 to 30 points.

Su Xiao’s Power and Agility met the requirements, and his Stamina was 25 points, barely meeting the requirement; mastering ’Shave’ shouldn’t be a problem, but mastering ’Iron Block’ or ’Life Return’ might pose some difficulty.

As long as the body conditions meet the requirements, mastering Rokushiki isn’t difficult; after all, the principles of Rokushiki are not complex.

Su Xiao only needed to understand Rokushiki initially, and afterwards, with the help of Reincarnation Paradise, he could rapidly enhance the level of Rokushiki, though it would come at a high cost.

Looking at the training method for Rokushiki written by Kalifa, Su Xiao was unsure whether it was intentionally done by Kalifa or whether she naturally had poor handwriting. The words on the paper were so crooked that they could be mistaken for a child’s handwriting.

Currently disguising as a secretary, it wasn’t likely Kalifa couldn’t write well. Hence, there was only one possibility.

”A little trick.”

Su Xiao contacted Reincarnation Paradise, and after spending 10 Paradise coins, the text on the paper turned into a printed Song font, making it much easier to read.

With a brief read-through, Su Xiao understood the training method for ’Shave,’ taking only about a dozen seconds.

Indeed, it was that simple. It wasn’t that Su Xiao had extraordinary intelligence, but rather, the training method for ’Shave’ was just that basic.

The main principle of ’Shave’ is to step on the ground more than ten times in a very short time (0.36 seconds) to create an explosive force through the reaction to achieve a speed invisible to the naked eye.

Simply put, it’s about stomping the ground furiously, continuing to step down before the body shoots forward, thereby forming a second, third, or even more accelerations.

While the moving speed of ’Shave’ is fast, it also has drawbacks.

To control the distance and speed of the forward motion, one must control the strength of stepping on the ground; otherwise, they might crash into a wall or, if unlucky, directly into an enemy’s weapon, resulting in their own demise.

During the use of ’Shave,’ rapid direction changes are not possible—only minor adjustments to the forward route can be made.

After contemplating for half an hour, Su Xiao got up and stood on the ground barefoot, quickly stomping his feet.

However, after just two steps, Su Xiao’s steps turned into a light jog, nothing like what was described.

Failure was to be expected, but Su Xiao continued to study ’Shave,’ repeating himself over and over without a hint of boredom.

Bubute Ni lay on the soft quilt, a worried look on its dog face. Its master seemed to be sick.

If Bubute Ni could speak, it would definitely say to Su Xiao right now: ”Master, when I have money, I’ll certainly take you to the best mental asylum.”

Su Xiao repeated the starting action of ’Shave’ again and again, not knowing until trying that it was truly difficult. To continuously stomp the ground more than ten times within 0.36 seconds was challenging, and during this time, the body must not lunge forward.

Thud, thud, thud!

Rough knocking sounds came from the door. Su Xiao opened the door bare-chested. A group of burly men with fierce expressions were standing outside, clearly not good people.

A burly man with a tiger-like back and bear waist glared angrily at Su Xiao, gritting his teeth as he said, ”It’s already midnight. Make another sound, and I’ll shove your head in the cesspool and kick your ass until it’s ruined.”

By the end, the man’s chest muscles were twitching, his fingers cracking.

”We’re all ’Civilized People’; there’s no need to resort to foul language. Disturbing you is indeed my fault.”

Su Xiao’s voice was calm, a gentle smile on his face.

”Huh? Civilized People? I am...”

Five minutes later, a few burly men with bruised noses and swollen faces left, bowing and scraping. Su Xiao wiped the blood from his hands.

If the other party had come for civilized negotiation, he would have stopped training ’Shave,’ but if they weren’t civilized, it was a matter of whose fist was harder.

Su Xiao practiced ’Shave’ for a while longer, making some progress, faintly finding a little trick.

Around one o’clock in the morning, Su Xiao took a break. Training wasn’t something to be rushed; seeking quick success could be counterproductive.

Early the next morning, after freshening up, Su Xiao changed into new clothes and went to No.1 Dock.

After staying at No.1 Dock for a while, Su Xiao quietly left, looking for a remote and spacious location.

After warming up, Su Xiao continued to practice ’Shave’. Once he mastered it, he could approach enemies rapidly.

Repeatedly attempting and failing, Su Xiao was undeterred; failure was just an accumulation of experience.

Sweat soaked through Su Xiao’s clothes, so he removed his upper garments.

Taking a deep breath, Su Xiao started stepping fast on the spot.

”Shave!”

With a low shout, Su Xiao stepped quickly on the ground.

Whoosh~.

Su Xiao instantly became a blur, rushing straight towards... the sea.

Plop, water splashed more than two meters high. He came to a stop after diving far into the sea.

Swimming back to shore, Su Xiao was overjoyed. He seemed to have succeeded just now. Although he was still far from mastering ’Shave,’ it was a good start.

Su Xiao continued practicing, but that sudden shooting situation did not reoccur.

Sitting on the open ground, Su Xiao stared at the sea horizon, pondering why he succeeded just now. Was it because he chanted the incantation?

After contemplating for a long time to no avail, he became somewhat restless.

Closing his eyes to meditate, ten minutes later Su Xiao opened his eyes, the irritation in his heart dissipated.

”Continue.”

Standing up, Su Xiao’s feet began stepping rapidly on the ground.

Crack~.

Su Xiao stumbled and nearly fell. A sharp pain shot from his ankle, which puzzled him. Did he twist it? No, it was the high intensity of ’Shave’ training causing his body to struggle to bear it; after all, this was a body technique beyond human limits.

One must not underestimate the transcendence of human limits in the Pirate World, where the physical qualities of humans are very strong.

Seated on the ground, Su Xiao gently massaged his ankle, the circulation starting to smooth out. With 25 points of Stamina, the pain gradually subsided.

His stomach growled, and Su Xiao looked up to find the sun high in the sky—unbeknownst to him, he had practiced all morning.
