Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Alka sat on the throne.

The crown of his Dream Realm rested atop his head.

He leaned back against the throne in the Dream Realm, watching the demon in front of him.

Before Alka was a gigantic mirror, and sealed within it was a powerful demon of the Seventh Stage.

He was considered powerful because, even among Seventh Stage demons, he was one of the most formidable.

At this moment, he appeared perfectly intact, sealed within the mirror.

You could see that the entire mirror was constructed very robustly, because it wasn’t just a mirror—you could see various forces supporting it from behind.

Elemental and spatial forces formed a solid power that adhered to its back, even adding fortunate inspirations to the mirror.

Only then could such a Seventh Stage demon be perfectly sealed within the mirror.

Shadow Robe stood next to Alka.

”Your Majesty, you have been watching this demon for quite a while now.”

Upon hearing Shadow Robe’s reminder, Alka nodded.

”I was thinking about how to find a way to properly teach that damned moon in the sky a lesson.”

So you’re displaying this demon’s cage while contemplating other matters?

Shadow Robe silently thought to himself.

Yet he dutifully spoke beside him: ”Your Majesty, I must remind you, although you are the ruler within the Dream Realm, you have not yet achieved Ascension to Divinity in reality, and the Moon Goddess is a powerful goddess who has existed since the Golden Era.”

His words were not particularly gentle, but they were as tactful as Shadow Robe could manage; the meaning was clear.

He meant for Alka to realize that he was not yet qualified to engage the goddess.

”I don’t want to do anything to that goddess; I just want her to lend me something, so she doesn’t keep shining in the sky every day.”

Previously, the Moon Goddess in the sky only appeared every few days, but now she practically displays herself every one or two days, disrupting the order of the Endless Sea.

This has made the already unstable frontline even more chaotic, with casualties growing increasingly severe.

Considering the composition of 12 Tower of Trials, the World Scar requires a stable front to accumulate enough power for the rear.

Only a sufficiently secure environment can ensure the Tower of Trials continuously produces powerful personnel.

These individuals all need time to grow.

The longer the time, the less consumed, becoming more advantageous for Alka and them.

Because the 12 Tower of Trials can provide them opportunities to counter demons, even to close the Abyssal Rift in one move.

Moreover, recently, Alka felt that he seemed targeted.

Each time, some demons forcibly kept him busy, and these demons’ strength and abilities were specifically tailored for him.

Not to harm Alka, only to hope he would act less against other demons and cause excessive damage.

Even sacrificing one or two occasionally didn’t matter.

Alka recognized that among them, two demons held leadership positions within the demon group, possibly Demon Lords.

Previously, among the heads of demons, there were only three Demon Lords, with the Devourer’s Mouth being one.

Although the number of Demon Lords reached seven with demon expansion, it seems recently increased to nine.

But they still remain few in number.

Deploying two specifically to stall him was quite considerate of him.

”You’re thinking of stealing a divinity from that goddess?”

Alka glanced at Shadow Robe, then reluctantly nodded.

”Yes, yes, steal one of her divinities. So she’s not just idly projecting her sickening light in the sky—damned bitch offspring...”

Alka couldn’t help but curse bluntly.

Because this moon indeed disgusted everyone in the World Scar.

Especially annoying Chadite, because although the moon appearing in the daytime temporarily couldn’t do much to Chadite, it suppressed Chadite’s moonlight.

It was very irritating.

”If that’s the case, then I’ve no way to ease your troubles.”

Since he doesn’t possess the divinity of stealing, he really couldn’t understand how much Alka could accomplish.

And now, Alka consistently hid his divinity that might steal things very deep, almost unknown to anyone.

”No rush, I just want to think about it. Before that, I have to try my other ideas.”

As he spoke, Alka stood up, walked to the mirror, and looked at the demon inside.

Clearly, this mirror wasn’t like previous mirrors that prevented demons inside from seeing out, but allowed the demon to see outside clearly, including Alka.

The demon only slightly raised his eyes to glance at Alka but then ignored him, clearly imprisoned in such a mirrored cage for quite some time.

”How long have I kept him locked up?” Alka suddenly asked.

Mainly because Alka had many confined outside, using them as consumables, so he wasn’t quite sure.

Besides, these demons looked somewhat similar.

”You’ve kept this demon confined for three months.”

”Oh, has it been that long?”

Alka murmured, looking at the demon before him.

”If you wish to kill me and take my soul, hurry up, you damned human,” that demon cursed, looking at Alka.

Upon hearing this, Alka said, ”Your language seems to be slightly... uh, too civilized compared to your companions.”
