Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”So... you can already embark on the Ascension to Divinity?”

For the first time, Alka saw such a complex expression on Grefar’s face.

Just now.

Grefar needed to assign everyone to positions best suited to their abilities, ensuring the maximum impact in this precarious situation. However, upon asking Alka about his current abilities, he received Alka’s response.

The first among the divine, the meaning of this phrase was self-evident.

This indicated that Alka could begin his Ascension to Divinity at any moment, or perhaps was already on that path. However, if he was truly on his Ascension to Divinity, there would be little leisure to fight on the front lines unless his journey was related to it.

Upon hearing Grefar’s words, Alka smiled and nodded.

”Truly enviable,” Grefar murmured.

In Alka’s eyes, Grefar was now similar to him, but he lacked a Crown-level Treasure.

Even a being like Grefar didn’t possess a Crown-level Treasure, indicating how rare such items were in this world.

”All right, all right, I suppose I have to place you in some very significant positions.”

”Don’t worry. Preferably somewhere that can inflict the greatest damage on demons, the enemies should best be among the strongest demons.

I have some ideas I want to fulfill.”

Hearing Alka’s intentions, Grefar nodded.

Then he looked at the crowd.

”Hmm, strange, I remember there was a young girl. I think she was called Lucilia. Why don’t I see her?”

As he asked this question, Grefar felt a pang in himself, as if he touched upon a sore spot for them, perhaps this girl was already...

After all, they had been voyaging outside for 10 years, circumnavigating the world and encountering unimaginable dangers.

Moreover, he too occasionally received some news.

Upon hearing this, watching Grefar’s expression, Alka smiled, shook his head, and said, ”It’s not that serious, she’s merely on her own Ascension to Divinity, helping make this world better.”

Grefar’s expression slightly recovered but soon turned even more surprised.

”Huh?”

He then took a deep breath to steady his emotions. Normal, this was normal, after all, it was them.

He tried to find a plausible reason for himself.

”Enough with this talk, I’ll start the arrangements.”

It would be best not to continue chatting with them, lest he get even more discouraged.

”Matilda, your position is at the field hospital. It’s very strenuous, the wounded are increasing by the moment.”

Upon hearing this, Matilda nodded.

”No problem, leave it to me.”

Grefar nodded, then waved his hand. A soldier who had accompanied him immediately stepped forward, nodded respectfully to Matilda, and led her away.

Next was Pororo, who was clearly assigned to face the most brutal enemies.

Jason and Ulu Liwus were positioned to support the troops.

After all, the battle line is long and vast.

Chadite was directly on the fortress wall on the front battlefield.

Unsurprisingly, Simon was assigned to the defense area of the Holy Machine Church, with his specific tasks to be given by its members.

Overall, Grefar didn’t quite understand these mechanical matters.

Julia was also on the enhancement team at the front battlefield.

Juanlu’s position was rather awkward, so he was also placed on the front line defense.

Finally, there was Alka.

He was also on the front line defense.

Mainly because the fortress and its surrounding wall had an extensive area.

Alka’s role would be to deal with the enemy leaders. In fact, Chadite’s role was roughly similar.

All were set against the powerful enemies among the demons.

Having been assigned, Alka went directly to the front wall, where battles were continuously underway.

Various wounded were being dragged off the wall by strange machines or entities for treatment, bodies were everywhere, even too busy to be collected.

You could see some sort of transporting robots responsible for collection, in such a battlefield, they didn’t have the means for more dignified transport of these bodies.

As dignified transport was completely allocated to the wounded.

Screams and slaughter echoed everywhere.

Alka slightly raised his head to look at the sky.

The Energy Shield was constantly activated above, rippling waves continuously dispersing around. Outside, attacks rained down like a storm.

Like lava fireballs, various incomprehensible negative energies.

Here.

Like a hell on earth.

Alka reached out and grasped.

A large number of wounded, possibly salvageable, disappeared from the front wall and appeared next to him.

Seeing this, a swarm of machines immediately gathered around.

Carrying the wounded, they flew away.

”Lord Alka? You’ve returned?”

One of the wounded clearly recognized Alka and exclaimed in surprise.

Alka turned to look at him.

He was a Vastva man.

Additionally, he wielded a Treasure power around the Fourth Stage.

Alka smiled at him.

His figure instantly vanished, and upon reappearing, he was already atop a demon’s head. Suddenly, a spear formed of lightning appeared in his hand and he fiercely hurled it downwards.
