Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

At this point, Lucilia shrugged: ”At least that’s how it is for the family.

But actually, after death, the research was successful, and my soul was free. However, because it is the soul of an ordinary person, I can only temporarily reside in a stone that can bear and repair souls.”

”You guys already know what happened after that.”

Afterwards, she naturally fell into the sea, drifting along the ocean, and arrived at the Homeland Sea. By chance, she landed in Alka’s hands, and then was activated by Alka through magic power.

At this time, Alka suddenly asked: ”Don’t you all feel that the current position of souls is very awkward?”

Hearing Alka’s question, some nodded, some shook their heads, but all showed sufficient curiosity or confusion.

This was the confusion Alka encountered upon coming to this world.

Back when he was at the Homeland Sea, he felt that the state of souls was a bit strange.

Not referring to his own soul, but those spirits and such.

Too free.

The earliest he saw souls was when he was praying for the Holy Mother and saw this body’s mother.

Sailing on a small boat, drifting along the Nether River.

Probably heading towards reincarnation.

But now he knows, it’s also possible to have arrived at the Holy Mother’s Divine Kingdom, after all, they were born believers on the Home Island.

But later on, Alka realized something was amiss, whether it was Lucilia or those souls bound in place due to treasure’s power or other things.

These souls exhibited an odd state of staying if they want and leaving if they wish.

The only issue to address is the soul’s distortion.

If a vessel isn’t sought, souls generally have a limited range and can’t stray too far.

And they’re extremely prone to being influenced by the surrounding environment.

To move far, without the help of other forces, a vessel is needed, which will affect the soul, resulting in distortion.

This was probably the function designed when the soul-host puppet was first invented, to reduce distortion caused by this.

Later, it was improved by Alka and the others, finally constructing a perfect body through their capabilities.

This is essentially another form of resurrection.

Just like Lucilia.

But at that time, Alka vaguely knew the power of this technology, but they concealed it and didn’t spread this technology.

Because there’s a problem with this world.

Until yesterday, Lucilia mastered the art of reshaping, creating for herself a perfect body of flesh and blood.

Making her body and soul match perfectly, just like her former body.

But Alka knew.

This strange soul existence is genuinely odd, the only explanation being the world has been destroyed, and problems exist when piecing it back together.

Just like the chaos of the Endless Sea.

Alka simply believed reincarnation might also have issues.

This explains why most souls exhibit such freedom, it’s not normal.

Later, through understanding.

For instance, what they learned after reaching the sixth stage, confirmed Alka’s guesses.

After the world was destroyed and reshaped, even the souls of the lives living above could sometimes be unable to grasp and be cast out.

Clearly, some reincarnation mechanism of this world has issues.

Alka believes at least for the four gods, they surely have their own coping methods.

For example, Alka saw the Nether River Illusion Realm manifested by the Holy Mother.

He also has his own thoughts and has asked Lucilia, as well as inquired about Lucilia’s past.

Interestingly, only he felt puzzled, everyone else on the ship found Lucilia’s state peculiar, yet not something incomprehensible.

Indicating this state has persisted for too long, likely existing ever since the world was pieced back together.

This world lacks a sufficiently robust reincarnation.

Like anyone with a little understanding of soul-related knowledge could stay.

In his small world, the souls in the Great Library are the best evidence.

They didn’t rely on treasure’s power to stay, but on the research of those soul scholars. The treasure merely provided necessary energy.

After all, the instantly retained souls were too many, and they ensured the immortality of the souls.

To this day, Alka feels it’s somewhat preposterous.

If treasures are involved, or if treasures are related, it becomes even easier to stay.

But now Lucilia is different.

Lucilia seems to have been reborn anew, becoming a truly living person.

Others may not see the difference, but Alka’s eyes can clearly discern the distinction.

This isn’t a living soul encased in a suitable body.

”The Crown Level treasure I possess is the reincarnation authority.”

”This... can something like this be truly mastered?” Ulu Liwus asked with some confusion.

Due to inherited memories, she holds reincarnation and soul-related existences in greater reverence than others.

In the former Golden Era, such authority was too strong.

Unlike now when reincarnation has collapsed.

”Although I am surprised too, it was indeed exchanged through a Crown Level treasure, and directly mastered by me.

Very, very easily.”

Lucilia said quietly.

This truly is an immensely powerful ability no matter how you look at it. At least in terms of its function and importance, it far surpasses Alka’s Crown Level treasure by a significant margin.
