Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The demon below, hearing this, unceremoniously said, ”It’s easy for you to say. Why don’t you go kill him?”

This demon looked somewhat miserable in appearance.

Not only was one horn on its forehead missing, but even an arm was gone.

And the one who caused such losses to him was none other than Alka.

Logically, with his body strength and recovery ability, such injuries should have already healed. After all, he was a Demon Lord.

But the problem was, he hadn’t recovered.

Because he could feel his horn and arm were still there, just not on his body.

This sensation was very peculiar.

”That damned human must possess powerful sealing abilities. When he chopped off my hand, he must have sealed it.

I saw with my own eyes that he used a Mirror to store my hand in it, and even now my hand hasn’t grown back, but I can still feel it. Can you understand?”

He was speaking not only to Sarunster but also to the others.

After all, Alka had spoken so arrogantly before.

And in every subsequent battle, he stood in the same position waiting for those demons to come and kill him.

Naturally, this made these Demon Lords very unhappy.

And he was the first to confront Alka.

The battle was fierce.

But he had initially thought it impossible for him to die at Alka’s hands, at most being unable to kill Alka.

But he hadn’t expected such a disastrous outcome.

He had directly lost a horn and an arm.

For a strong demon skilled in melee like him, this was an extremely exaggerated loss.

It also made other demons somewhat reluctant to confront Alka.

Death wasn’t the concern, but if he sealed some parts of you, it would be uncomfortable.

Demons are the least skilled at sealing abilities, and they are also the most easily sealed creatures. It’s as if they are naturally restrained by various seals from different worlds, with each world’s seals having unique properties that make it nearly impossible for demons to deal with.

Of course, they are also very adept at breaking seals. If a Demon Lord hasn’t been sealed before, they aren’t worthy of being a Demon Lord.

”Then why not lure him out and face him together?”

The noble-looking demon clad in armor suggested beside him.

This was the demon who had only arrived in the past one or two years, Farol.

”Haha, no one is a fool.” The Mouth of Devour glanced at him and bluntly said.

”I certainly know no one is a fool, so we need to come up with a comprehensive plan, don’t we? Of course, fools can’t think of that.

Cowards are even less capable.”

”Go on.” Sarunster, sitting on the throne, looked at this Farol and said.

He was curious about what ideas he had.

Since Farol came here, he had been very focused on Alka during this time.

With Farol proposing at this moment, it was clear he had decided to interfere in this world, hoping to share in the credit.

”Wouldn’t letting the Mouth of Devour act as bait work? He’s the most suitable,”

Farol said without hesitation.

”Nonsense!” The Mouth of Devour directly cursed beside him.

This was obviously sending himself to die.

They still hadn’t figured out Alka’s abilities. With such powerful sealing abilities, the Mouth of Devour didn’t think he could handle it.

If these damn people completed the task and gained credit, he would be left with nothing. How could he agree?

He didn’t believe that if he were sealed, these colleagues would leave a share for him.

Even though the demons agreed with such a proposal, they clearly didn’t have the power or qualifications to force the Mouth of Devour.

After all, being bait was something that if he didn’t want to do it, even killing him wouldn’t help.

”But what if... I could let you unleash your full potential and even allow your power to reach a higher level? Would you be willing?”

”Do you have an Abyss Core?” The Mouth of Devour narrowed his eyes at the side and asked.

”Mmhmm, that’s right.”

”Such a precious thing, you’re willing to give it to me? Just to make me act as bait?”

The Mouth of Devour stared at Farol, clearly not believing him.

The demons present didn’t doubt that this Farol could produce an Abyss Core. His strength and status indeed allowed him such a rare item.

But interestingly, the valuable item wasn’t quite worth giving to someone as bait.

After all, the plan might not succeed.

”What are you thinking? Of course, there are limitations. I can give it to you, but it will be under a precise contract. Like a devil’s contract, you can only use it in the end when you are about to die, and we’ve indeed lured him out.

Ensuring the plan succeeds and making sure you don’t abscond with my item.”

”What in this world is worth you paying such a price?” Sarunster, seated on the throne, suddenly asked.

”Haha, what if I say, this is a task bestowed by the Abyss?”

As soon as these words fell, all the demons suddenly understood.

So that’s how it is.

Now it all made sense.

Why this demon was nobler than they were, it was because his bloodline and abilities allowed him to connect directly with the Abyss.

The Abyss was more inclined to entrust important tasks to them.

And once they completed those tasks given by the Abyss, the rewards they would receive would be much greater than those other demons.

So most demons were both envious and jealous.

If it was to complete such a task, then using an Abyss Core would be no problem at all.
