Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Alka was in the forging hall below the ship’s cabin, which had become much larger than before due to spatial expansion.

In his hand, he held a jade ball as white as snow, and began to integrate the divine essence into it through rituals and techniques.

As the divine essence merged, the jade ball, which was made with a lot of precious materials, began to develop different characteristics.

It transformed from a pure white jade-like state, changing from a solid sphere to a misty cloud-like form.

Grayish smoke appeared and circled around the sphere, gathering toward the center of the ball.

It transformed into a unique color, a mix of gray with a touch of green, seemingly turning to blue.

It felt almost like a soul.

The entire sphere seemed to lose its physical form, appearing as a ball made of clouds, even slightly floating off the platform on which it was placed.

Alka could clearly see the soul fluctuations emanating from the ball.

As the divine essence perfectly integrated into it, these changes immediately dissipated, and the treasure became more reserved.

The cloud-like soul ball reverted back to solid form, only this time it transformed from a white jade ball into a grayish gemstone-like sphere.

Looking at this gemstone sphere, one could mistake it for a mere handicraft made from inferior jade blocks.

The treasure was finally crafted.

This was also the treasure made for Lucilia, using materials from their ship.

Alka blinked as he looked at the treasure.

It was similar to what Alka had seen before, having functions akin to soul modification and alteration.

It was very vague.

It seemed that one would need to fully use their own ideas and manipulations to bring about specific functions.

After all, under normal circumstances, no race or spell could possess the ability to manipulate souls, except for their own souls.

Or perhaps the souls of animals without much will; otherwise, the mystery of souls is the deepest and most rigorous.

The use Alka could think of might be to enhance his attacks with the ability to directly attack souls.

Or perhaps to improve the defense abilities against anything targeting souls.

Other operations could certainly be more detailed and useful, but Alka’s research into souls was not advanced.

Holding the treasure, Alka placed it into a box and then walked onto the deck.

Just in time to see Lucilia under the big tree, most of the others were also on the deck.

Alka carried the box over to Lucilia, shaking it in front of her.

Seeing this, not only Lucilia, but the others gathered around, as it was plainly the box meant for the treasure.

This indicated that Lucilia’s treasure was now completed.

As the box opened, the gray jade ball was revealed.

”Why does my treasure always feel so cheap-looking?” Lucilia couldn’t help but remark upon seeing the gray jade ball.

However, she still picked up the sphere with both hands.

Without saying a word, she wrapped it with magic power, taking control.

With the infusion of magic power, the gray jade ball reverted to the form it held during Alka’s integration process.

This time, more soul-like gray-green cloud energy floated out, enveloping Lucilia entirely.

Alka could even see Lucilia’s soul slightly reflecting out from her body, just as it used to when she was only a soul without a physical form.

As the treasure was fully mastered, the mist began to dissipate, and the treasure directly merged into Lucilia’s body.

Lucilia opened her eyes, which immediately turned into dispersing smoke. Closing her eyes and controlling it for a while, she returned to a normal state.

”This treasure provides some means to manipulate souls, achieving effects that once required various rituals and outside forces, or even spells. Now these are accomplished directly by the abilities granted from the treasure.

Moreover, these means are better and more profound.

However, how to use it specifically still requires mastery before concrete plans can be made.”

Lucilia said.

This kind of treasure has high flexibility, how to use its effects fully depends on the knowledge and ideas of the person mastering the treasure.

Similar to simpler treasures, it’s somewhat like treasures that can control fire.

There are many treasures that can control fire, just that their directions might be different.

This treasure is somewhat like that, but it’s about soul manipulation, which is not as simple as elements.

Compared to elements, books on soul research are far fewer.

Everyone nodded, expressing understanding.

Nevertheless, Lucilia smiled and said: ”Although its full abilities can’t be utilized yet, for my Puppet Knight Order, it’s already very suitable.”

Clearly, this treasure can more quickly and thoroughly help Puppet Girls have their own true souls.

Everyone continued talking on the ship like this, and in the distance, a merchant ship appeared in a marine area a few kilometers away.

The appearance of the merchant ship made everyone unable to help but look over, as they hadn’t seen other people for a long time.
