Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”You... Did you attack him?” Jason couldn’t help asking.

Just as Alka emerged, they turned their heads and saw Alka, who had just come out, as well as the triangular object that crashed to the ground.

”Impossible, it must have run out of power.” Alka said as he picked up the triangular object from the ground.

Heavy indeed, it was precisely crafted from metal.

And just as he thought, it truly was devoid of energy.

The surface showed no damage, and upon inspection, the intricate internal structure appeared intact as well.

At most, the exterior had slight wear, which was normal for such a long time.

”Out of power? It can run out of power?” Chadite asked in surprise.

He’d never heard it needed an energy supply.

Wasn’t the norm for it to absorb Magic Power from the surroundings? And indeed, the surrounding Magic Power was quite ample.

The island’s High Magic Power was still maintained.

However, just as he finished speaking, the entire Tower of Trial suddenly began crazily absorbing Magic Power.

The exaggerated speed of Magic Power absorption even formed a hurricane in the surroundings, prompting Alka and the others to quickly gather their things and flee beyond the city ruins.

The increasingly powerful magic hurricane began to converge, forming a very obvious spiral of Magic Power centered on the Tower of Trial, like a whirlwind drawing surrounding Magic Power inward, exceptionally noticeable, even the scattered clouds in the sky followed in rotation.

The Magic Power concentration around was decreasing at a very exaggerated pace, as energy from other directions rushed to fill in.

”What’s happening? What’s going on?”

Julia and the rest, who had been resting outside, hurried over to ask.

They looked at the exaggerated magic tornado.

”Is the Tower of Trial malfunctioning?”

This was the thought on everyone’s mind, and then, as one, they turned to Alka.

After all, Alka had just cleared the Trial, and the tower malfunctioned right afterward.

Moreover, Alka was holding a powerless, seemingly paralyzed triangular object.

”Don’t look at me, I completed the Trial. They mentioned the Tower of Trial needs maintenance for a month. Maybe this phenomenon is normal.” Alka said.

”Maintenance?” It sounded strange.

No one had heard the triangular object say anything like this before.

But Alka was the first one to clear the Trial since then.

”So, does this mean that we have to wait a month to continue the trials?” Jason asked, observing the increasingly exaggerated Magic Power spiral.

Alka nodded: ”That’s right, the instructor mentioned it before he left.”

”Alright then.”

”We should return to the ship now, the surrounding Magic Power is about to be completely drained, let’s keep our distance for now.”

Alka said, leading everyone back to the Sound of Dawn.

Even at the island’s port, they could still feel the Magic Power being drawn.

Reluctantly, they began steering the ship away from the island, until they were approximately 2 kilometers out.

Though they could still see the island, a bit farther and they would lose their bearings due to the Endless Sea’s currents.

Standing on deck, Alka sensed the Magic Power concentration and the degree of tugging.

Here, the Magic Power pull had reached a certain equilibrium.

Though an abnormal flow of Magic Power was felt, it was quickly replenished from other directions, maintaining a balanced level overall.

And here they could very directly sense it.

The central whirl of Magic Power soaring from the island and the Magic Power being drawn in during absorption, gradually transformed from intangible to tangible threads.

It appeared extremely bizarre.

”Isn’t this Magic Power absorption too exaggerated?” Simon took out some incomprehensible equipment, observing the surroundings.

Looking at the data he collected, he couldn’t help but remark.

”According to observations, the spiral Magic Power concentration around the Tower of Trial has reached several hundred times the normal level, yet it maintains this density as it is drawn into the tower.

How is it capable of absorbing so much Magic Power, and where is all this Magic Power stored?

Previously, no storage place or device for Magic Power had been found at or around the tower.”

Simon was confused about the current situation, dedicating himself to observation.

After watching for a while, everyone drew their gaze back.

Chadite looked at Alka and the iron sphere he had been holding.

”So you cleared the Trial, right?” A series of issues had made Chadite forget the main point.

Upon hearing this, the others also turned their heads.

Alka nodded: ”Indeed, I have cleared it.”

He said, lifting the iron sphere.

”This is the sealed Divine Essence.”

”Are you planning to forge the essence first or to break through your strength to the Fifth Stage?” Chadite inquired about Alka’s plan.

”My strength has hit a bottleneck for so long, it’s time for a breakthrough. Plus, breaking through this bottleneck isn’t difficult, no need for Treasure to aid.

Besides, you need to clear the Trial too, which will take time. Once I break through to the Fifth Stage, then focus on crafting Treasure; there’s no rush.”

Alka stated, laying out his plans.

He intended to first elevate his strength to the Fifth Stage, leveraging the Dream Realm to increase his power by one tier to Tier Six.

This way, he would see more in the Dream Realm, possibly gaining a detailed understanding of the Divine Essence’s capabilities, crafting a Treasure form better suited to it.

So enhancing strength and breaking through the bottleneck was the priority.
