Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The instructor nodded.

”Exactly, that’s it.”

Because equivalent exchange has become part of the world itself, it just makes a small manipulation through its own will.

It’s equivalent to a guard watching over the treasury.

The treasury is filled with various Gold Coins, but if someone doesn’t like the shape of their Gold Coin, they can ask for help to have the guard exchange it for a Gold Coin of equal value but with a shape that better suits their preference.

”Huh?”

This time Alka was truly surprised and stood up from the ground.

If this gets out, it would be shocking.

Through his understanding of the world, Alka knows why many powerful and even renowned beings haven’t ascended to godhood, why only a few in thousands of years have managed it.

It’s because acquiring compatible three Holy Grails, two Scepters, and the most difficult one Crown is such a formidable task.

He believes that some people would select other treasures based on even Scepter Level or Crown Level treasures.

And give up their previously used Holy Grail Level treasures.

A Crown is undoubtedly several times harder to find than three Holy Grails.

But if this rule exists or if the ability to use this rule is available.

Then as long as one gathers enough number of treasures, compatibility would no longer be a concern.

The difficulty of Ascension to Divinity would then drop exponentially.

From extremely arduous to exceptionally easy, of course, this applies to the strong.

Alka simply needs to reach a certain level of strength, like the Sixth Stage or even the Seventh Stage.

Based on the treasure information he possesses, he can directly obtain the treasures he needs without worrying about compatibility and ascend to godhood.

After all, he has information on two Crown Level treasures.

But no matter how he thinks, these two can hardly be compatible with his treasures.

One is left behind by a dead Giant Dragon, something at the core of the Life and Death Boundary of the Sea of Moisture.

It certainly relates to death.

The other is on the island he had prior knowledge of, similarly related to rules resembling death.

More akin to rules such as reincarnation.

These two can hardly be compatible with his treasures, even with those on the ship.

But as long as he knows how the rule of equivalent exchange with will operates, he can ignore all of this.

He only needs to obtain something of equal value and exchange it for something more suitable for him, akin to bartering.

Trading what he has for what he needs.

”Judging by your expression, I know you’ve definitely overthought it.” The instructor smiled, mercilessly dousing cold water.

”This is a connection formed by rules with will under the world.

Are you also a rule with will?”

”I mentioned before, the Tower of Trial almost hangs beneath the will and is part of the trial.”

Hearing this, Alka calmed down and sat back on the ground, right, how does this concern him?

Pure overthinking.

What a pity.

Alka was somewhat disappointed, sitting on the floor.

”It seems this rule application is very important to you?”

Seeing the instructor’s gaze, Alka nodded indifferently.

”Exactly, even if the chance is only once, it’s extremely important to me.”

Because Alka has almost gathered all conditions for Ascension to Divinity.

The three compatible Holy Grail Level treasures he already owns.

Originally the most difficult third item was obtained thanks to the gift from the Prismatic Giant Dragon.

He already owns one compatible Scepter Level item.

As long as he ensures a perfect pass through the Tower of Trial he can obtain another compatible Scepter.

Thus, two Scepters, three Holy Grails, reaching compatibility is accomplished.

The six treasures needed for Ascension to Divinity, he has gathered five of them.

While it’s achieved, the most difficult was left last, the hardest to obtain Crown Level treasure.

Crown Level treasure itself is difficult to obtain, leaving it to the last.

Just as he said, certainly most people center around Crown Level treasures to collect other level treasures.

But he, however, collected other level treasures thoroughly and lastly went to collect such a Crown Level treasure.

The difficulty increases, it’s evident.

Perhaps the Crown Level treasure obtained won’t be compatible, he might abandon what’s gathered and start anew.

Currently, he knows only two items.

And even by intuition, he can sense the high likelihood of incompatibility.

A Crown needs to be compatible with five other treasures to achieve Ascension to Divinity.

Can there be a way to exchange one item through equivalent exchange principle for something suitable for him?

Then the difficulty of Ascension to Divinity sharply decreases.

He almost possesses the key to Ascension to Divinity.

”How about we make a deal?”

The instructor suddenly said.

Hearing this, Alka squinted slightly and looked at him.

The rewards of the deal were self-evident.

Furthermore, the instructor already conveyed so much information, which can be considered secret. Certainly, he had been waiting for this moment, finally revealing his tail.

Yet Alka had no choice but to bite because this struck his most vital need.

”No problem, unless the deal’s difficulty exceeds my imagination.”

Would the difficulty that exceeds imagination be greater than acquiring a compatible Crown Level treasure? Probably not.

Alka thought.

The instructor said, ”Since I’m always within the Divine Hall of Trial, I’m unfamiliar with how the world operates now.

We generally learn about the outside through trial participants; seeing you, it’s clear such an equivalent exchange opportunity surpasses imagination for you.

Let me first state our reward, being a Divine Attendant appointed by the God of Trial.

We are closer to our Divine than any follower.”

With his hands behind his back he spoke, ”Hence we know of an object, an equivalent exchange Divine Artifact.

The former Master of Alchemy used this Divine Artifact to become the will of equivalent exchange rule.”

”It’s a Libra that can transform equivalent exchanges into your desire. Just like what I said earlier, it can convert incompatible Divine Essence to the same tier and level Divine Essence that suits you.

Actually, we don’t know how many times this Divine Artifact can be used; possibly, it can be used infinitely or limited.

We only guarantee it can be used at least once.”

”That’s our offered reward.”

Alka nodded; the reward was just as he thought. As long as the task isn’t overly outrageous, he’ll accept it, as it’s so crucial for them.

”Tell me, what’s the task.”

”It’s simple, find a way to gather the Tower of Trial in one location and announce it to the world.

The previously constructed Tower of Trial got scattered due to the world’s shattering, totaling 12 towers. You need to collect all 12, regardless of method, and ensure these towers gather together.

To form a true Trial Island.”
