Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The sunlight streamed through the window.

Golden rays pierced through the gaps in the curtains, illuminating the bed.

Outside, there were ships coming and going, along with the bustling noises from the port. But these noisy sounds couldn’t penetrate through the window into the room.

The bedroom remained quite peaceful.

Alka, who was lying on the bed asleep, slowly opened his eyes.

He rolled over, trapping the blanket under him, then picked up a pillow and covered his head with it.

After a long while, he suddenly sat up.

With a strange cry, he stretched lazily.

”Refreshing!”

Alka looked at the hourglass used for timekeeping beside him.

He had actually slept for more than ten hours.

Almost sleeping through the entire night. You know, since arriving at the Endless Sea, this could be the first time he slept through an entire night.

Alka could continue sleeping even in his dreams, entering an extremely deep sleep. Recovering his mental and physical state with great efficiency.

This was a gift even Simon envied tremendously.

Plus, he had already reached Fourth Stage in power.

For him, a sleep of more than ten hours was very long.

However, correspondingly, he hadn’t slept for a long time.

Jumping up from the bed, after washing up, he dressed and came to the deck.

When he arrived at the restaurant in the aft tower.

He heard voices of conversation coming from inside.

”According to the theory of soul-body linkage, we can achieve physical power storage through certain means,” Lucilia’s voice came over.

In front of her was Matilda, engaged in dialogue with her.

”But your current body is constructed entirely from a Soul-Host Puppet and Treasure, which doesn’t exactly match the experimental theory’s objectives. We need more research to achieve the desired effect, don’t we?”

Hearing their exchange, Alka roughly understood what they were talking about.

Put simply, it was about allowing Lucilia to temporarily reside in a temporary body, leaving her current form.

And precisely preserving her current instance.

Then reconstructing her Treasure.

After all, the ”Bloody Team Banner,” whether in material or symbolic significance, doesn’t quite match.

This somewhat restricts Lucilia’s abilities, mainly limiting the Puppet Girls.

Because they discovered in Vastva’s extensive research records how to enlighten the true soul of soulless objects.

Using this technology, several people believed they could enable the Puppet Girls to truly become creations with souls.

This function had long been realized in the former Vastva, where they constructed constructs for war, management, and manufacturing using this artificial soul technology.

Just like a magical version of artificial intelligence.

But this technology isn’t mature, and the Treasure also imposes limitations.

However, this wasn’t their research focus for now.

Alka walked in.

Sitting at his place, he started eating the food in front of him.

Looking at Chadite beside him, dwelling on something.

He asked, ”What are you thinking about?”

Upon hearing this, Chadite realized that Alka had already come in.

She had been daydreaming just now.

”Wasn’t it about mapping the overall blueprint of Vastva City?”

Alka nodded, indeed he had tasked Chadite with this task.

”Although Vastva people reclaimed a lot of building materials, demolishing damaged constructions from before.”

”Of course, the once-glorious Goose City State has a lot of foundations and basements still preserved. The entirety of Vastva has numerous underground relics buried.”

”And the problem is these underground relics seem to all have peculiar functions. We’ve discovered some functions in many documents, but you know, there’s no Magic Power now.”

”So our urgent task is to let Vastva people gradually adapt to Magic Power, and then revive the land, right?” Alka asked.

Chadite nodded.

In simple terms, once the advanced city of Vastva balanced both Magic Power and constructs.

With many powerful foundational structures, but these things required a basic essence, Magic Power.

According to Chadite’s detection, many constructions might actually still work as originally planned.

So the revival of Magic Power is critical.

Alka had the chance to do this, but had to consider the Vastva people inside.

He couldn’t just revive the land by destroying all the Vastva people, could he?

He wasn’t so heartless.

Besides, it would be utterly pointless; the benefits wouldn’t even be comparable.

Moreover, with the time they’ve spent together, it’s hard to deny the Vastva people’s innate talent in constructs and magic research.

Alka and the others were inadvertently deeply binding with this race so that when they overcome challenges and act freely outside, they would be closely aligned.

They were enhancing their status and reputation among the Vastva people.

Now, they were essentially investing in the future Vastva people, who very much needed them.

To some extent, they reached a tacit understanding, currently playing off intensely against each other.

Alka and the others craved the Vastva people’s talent, technology, historical records, and various documents.
