Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”This is the follower of the Holy Mother, the leader of the Compass Eye - Alka.”

The two exchanged glances and nodded to each other. Alka had already seen the power of this solemn old man through his own eyes.

Surprisingly, his strength is comparable to the Archbishop, both at power levels above the Tier Six.

It’s just unclear whether it’s at Tier Seven or more extraordinary strength.

With Alka’s power level advancing to the Fourth Stage, he had already confirmed the Archbishop being above Tier Six.

”Demon Hunter Judge?” Alka repeated, seemingly having heard it somewhere before.

The old man named Grefar in front of him looked at Alka and said, ”Chebriid has mentioned you, as well as your companions.”

Upon hearing this, Alka instantly recalled. The one with Pororo back in the spirits’ place, a person at the Fourth Stage of strength.

Alka remembered, he seemed to call himself a Demon Hunter. Alka initially thought he was a member of the Holy Mother Church.

Later he found out he wasn’t, he just happened to support them alongside the Holy Mother Church.

Not much was known, just appeared somewhat taciturn. But he was very practical, and extremely effective in demon slaying.

Now recalling, his attire seemed almost identical to that of this Grefar in front of him.

”It’s great that you’re somewhat familiar with each other,” the Archbishop said, glancing at Alka.

In Alka’s palm, a glass ball suddenly appeared.

Within the glass ball was enveloped in ethereal pink mist.

This was Alka’s earliest treasure, the Dream Catcher Crystal Ball.

If he had to say which treasure on him wouldn’t affect him much if not used temporarily, it would be this one.

As Alka became one of the Dream Kings, absorbing fragments from the Dream Realm God.

This treasure was mainly to maintain his powerful strength in the Dream Realm.

And to drag enemies into a dream-like space to enhance his own strength.

Thinking carefully, Alka decided to temporarily use this treasure for a pledge.

Besides, it wasn’t pledged to the other party, but placed in the Archbishop’s hand.

Alka bestowed considerable trust upon the Archbishop of the Holy Mother Church.

After all, whether it was the Holy Mother or the Church, they had always provided help to Alka.

To put it bluntly, Alka and them could practically be considered as one.

Perhaps in the outside world, Alka and his Treasure Hunting Team could be seen as affiliated with the Holy Mother Church.

At this time, Grefar across, lifted a box from beside his feet.

Opening the box, there was indeed a treasure stored inside.

It was a scythe, its shape looked quite refined, more like some sort of ceremonial item, rather than a weapon.

With its elegant appearance, adorned with gemstones and patterns. The entire design didn’t seem forged for practical use.

”The Scythe of the Harvest can be said to be a very typical treasure symbolizing autumn,” the Archbishop pointed at the scythe and said to Alka.

Alka nodded, looking up at Grefar, to be honest, the stature of this elder was indeed quite towering.

Even standing at around 1.8 meters tall, Alka had to look up to him while seated, this elderly standing must’ve been at least over two meters.

”Thank you for your willingness to provide a temporary exchange.”

The Archbishop nodded at the two, preparing to reach out and hold their treasures.

However, at this moment Grefar suddenly grabbed the Archbishop’s hand.

Witnessing this behavior, the Archbishop frowned at Grefar: ”We have agreed on this earlier.”

Grefar maintained his stern face, he glanced at the Archbishop upon hearing this: ”Rest assured, I am not refusing. It’s just unexpected that the one to exchange treasures temporarily with me is this friend here.”

Saying this, he turned his head to look at Alka: ”If I recall correctly, you and your companions belong to a Treasure Hunting Team, right?”

Alka nodded: ”That’s correct, we are indeed a Treasure Hunting Team.”

”Chebriid previously mentioned, the reason why you went to the spirits’ place was also to seek treasure, right?”

”Of course, the Treasure Hunting Team would go to peculiar places clearly for treasure.” Alka directly replied, no mystery in that.

If a Treasure Hunting Team doesn’t hunt treasure, what else would they do?

Grefar nodded: ”I’m quite curious, if you don’t mind, could you enlighten me?”

Alka glanced at him, nodded: ”If I can answer, then feel free to ask.”

”This time your role in the spirits’ place was significant, dealing with demons, resisting cultists, and even played a critical role in the end, so what drove you to act so?”

You need to know, for Alka and them, the spirits’ place could be termed dangerous, at least from an outsider’s perspective.

”Hatred, treasures, wealth, friendship, and the favor of a divine.” Alka vaguely answered.

Moreover, his answer wasn’t wrong, just a rather rough summary.

But the last favor from a divine was sufficient to motivate their adventure, let alone their primary goal at the time was to eliminate Karuto.

Grefar nodded, his expression still maintained that stern face, without much fluctuation.
