Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

”Even in a situation like this, they have not given up on research; instead, they have shifted their focus to how to sustain the survival of the tribe,” Lucilia said, sitting on Chadite’s shoulder.

She saw some relatively new research materials.

Chadite looked at Simon and Lucilia and said with a smile, ”Your performance should be enough to reassure them.”

They laughed and, together with Aphel and Labert, who caught up, returned to the tower.

Inside, the Great Elder and others should have finished their discussions by now.

Alka sat back down in his place.

”How is it, Alka? Have you found any solutions?” the Great Elder asked.

”The predicament you are facing isn’t something difficult for us to solve, is it?

Although due to your current physical state, it’s hard for you to survive in the outside world, I have mastered the Divine Artifact that controls this space.

I can naturally open the gateway to the outside, and the resources you lack, I can also provide for you.”

Alka said as he blinked one eye, and the pupil turned into a crystal.

With a gentle swipe, a crack leading to the outside space appeared beside him.

One could see the crack leading to the Dream Realm.

Alka switched casually, and a slight sea breeze blew in.

The sea breeze was infused with Magic Power, and as it blew in for a short while, Alka immediately closed the space crack.

The Magic Power in the room rose slightly.

But the sea breeze actually blew onto them.

The Great Elder in front of them even started to cough; the highest concentration of Magic Power was slightly uncomfortable for the oldest among them.

Those around him also felt uncomfortable, scratching their exposed skin.

Though it still didn’t reach the level of an allergic reaction.

After coughing a few times, the Great Elder obviously felt a little better.

Reality also proved to them that the external Magic Power is definitely unsuitable for their survival; even the slightly incoming sea breeze’s Magic Power made them uncomfortable, let alone being fully exposed to such an environment.

”Do we have to spend our entire lives in such a place?” a woman asked in despair.

”No, there should be other ways,” Alka shook his head and said.

This statement attracted the attention of everyone present.

”You all originally belong to an outside Race, and quite a strong one at that. Although you’ve stayed in such a place for so long, your bodies started adapting as Magic Power gradually declined.

But true non-magic has only been around for a few thousand years, which isn’t enough to completely change your physical structure; you just need some time to adapt.”

And after they adapt, they can be awakened through the Treasure.

Once awakened as touchers, they will naturally be able to survive outside. The offspring born during this time growing up outside will naturally adapt to the outside environment.

It’s just that the current generation needs time to adapt.

”Can it really be done?”

”Just give it a try, surely nothing worse could happen, right? And you Vastva people should be good at figuring things out, shouldn’t you?”

The Great Elder nodded.

Then, looking at Alka and the others, he said, ”I am very thankful for your help; for the assistance, you must be repaid.

As I said before, the Vastva people will become your closest friends.

Our knowledge, our remaining strength, and our history can all be shared with you.”

Hearing this, Alka smiled, stood up, and said, ”Then here’s to a successful partnership, we will definitely do our utmost to help you.”

He reached out his hand.

Clearly, the Vastva people didn’t have such an etiquette, but the Great Elder still extended his hand for a handshake.

”Now we are friends.”

...

Soon, Alka returned outside.

Chadite and the other two stayed inside, starting to communicate with the Vastva people.

Chadite needed to count their numbers and the supplies needed, while Lucilia and Simon were first to engage with some of their scholars and began to examine the various documents.

After countless years of research, they couldn’t move, let alone leave.

”Finally came out? How’s the situation inside? Why did it take so long?” Jason asked, standing on the deck as Alka came out.

Earlier, after Alka acquired the Treasure, he dragged this space fragment over and chose some people from the team to go inside with him.

Now only Jason and Pororo were on the deck, while the others had started their own tasks.

”A surprise, a big surprise, this might be the greatest find of our lives,” Alka said to Jason with a smile.

His words caused Ulu Liwus to lift his head as well.

”Did you find a huge treasure?”

”Well, you could say that,” since the wealth of the enclosed Vastva people was all left inside.

These are indeed huge riches.

Though they don’t belong to them, they temporarily manage a portion. After all, the supplies they need are purchased using this wealth.

As Alka emerged, Julia and Juanlu, who were busy in the kitchen, gathered around as well.

”Inside is Vastva City-state, which is the remaining part left on the map we saw earlier.

Including the living Vastva people.”

Alka narrated their experiences inside.
