Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

He suddenly raised both hands. A thick layer of a Magic Shield enveloped him. All the nearby cards exploded with flames, golden light, and Water Chains, but they were all blocked by the Magic Shield, sending ripples across its entire surface.

Suddenly, the shield vanished. It wasn’t due to external force; the instructor had suddenly frozen in place.

Just for an instant.

A dagger appeared behind him, thrusting forward. The tip didn’t penetrate his body; instead, it melted and stuck to his back. In that instant, the instructor snapped out of it, spinning around and retreating swiftly.

The Magic Bullet transformed into a beam and shot out instantly, but with no opponent behind him, it dissipated into the air.

The instructor looked at the dagger stuck to his back and pulled it out.

”One effective attack, huh,” Alka said, smiling behind his mask.

”Just one week. It seems you found your own path even without my reminder from last week. You appeared to have had an idea for a while.”

The instructor looked at the dagger, tossed it aside, and said with a smile, ”That invisible attack... must be the Dream Realm. It’s the realm hardest to reach. Even I can only ensure I’m not affected myself. With this move, you can navigate below the Sixth Stage unhindered. Very few can counteract it.”

The instructor was full of praise; Alka’s unique attack method, built upon his strong connection to the Dream Realm, was incredibly advantageous.

”Alright, now it’s my turn.” As he spoke, the instructor abruptly stomped on the ground. A large amount of Magic Power scattered into the air, transforming into countless Magic Bullets that shot towards Alka.

They were extremely fast. In the blink of an eye, they exploded around Alka, only to be blocked by one shattered Mirror Surface after another. The exploding Magic Power threw the area around Alka into a bit of chaos. The very air seemed to warp.

Amidst the distorted air, the instructor had already appeared beside Alka, a smile on his face. His right hand formed a palm and thrust forward rapidly. The concentrated blue Magic Power in his palm exploded, blasting through countless mirror fragments to reach Alka’s chest. This thrusting attack was unstoppable; even the mirror fragments barely slowed it down.

Before Alka could fully react, it struck his chest. Magic Power surged into Alka’s body.

”Cough, cough...” Alka coughed but felt no pain.

The instructor smiled and said, ”Since you held back, how could I truly hit you?”

The palm pressed against Alka’s chest forcefully shoved him away. Then, the instructor ducked, spun, and swung his left fist fiercely with the momentum. A dagger attack materialized right where the instructor’s head had been, but it missed as he ducked. His left fist shot out, hitting empty air.

A visible ripple of air spread outward in a semicircle. Yet, there was nothing there.

Seeing this, the instructor turned swiftly without hesitation, launching himself forward like an arrow. Alka, who had just been shoved away, hadn’t even regained his footing when he saw the instructor rapidly closing in.

The floating, shattered Mirror Surfaces instantly oriented themselves towards Alka’s position. Alka immediately disappeared from the spot.

The instructor skidded to a halt with his right leg, a piercing sound tearing through the air. He reached back with his right hand, grasping a large Magic Bullet. His body bent like a drawn bow, and then he hurled the Magic Bullet fiercely, like a baseball pitcher.

SHREEEK!

The fist-sized Magic Bullet tore through the air. The piercing shriek as it cut through the air was enough to make one tremble. It shot out with immense power.

Alka, who had just reappeared in the distance, widened his eyes as he saw the Magic Ball rapidly approaching him.

There was no time to dodge. He had only just landed.

He crossed his arms in front of him, layering thick Mirror Surfaces and a Magic Shield as densely as possible.

CRACK!

The Magic Bullet instantly shattered the thickly layered mirrors, the sound of their destruction filling the entire space. It then smashed through the Shield.

BOOM!

Striking Alka’s arms, the Magic Bullet exploded. The force of the explosion blasted the surrounding air outward, forming ring after ring of shockwaves.

Alka was sent flying backward. He bounced off the ground several times before skidding to a stop, leaving a long trail.

Alka felt as if his entire body was about to fall apart. The instructor definitely held back on this attack.

The impact of the explosion had thrown him a great distance and slammed him onto the ground several times. However, the direct force of the impact had only made contact with his body, leaving him sore all over. There were no fatal injuries; it couldn’t even be considered a light wound. The only visible injuries were some scrapes on his body.

He struggled to turn himself over. He then saw the instructor crouching beside him, smiling.

Alka shook his head helplessly. ”How did you know I would appear there?”

In this environment, under the influence of the pink mist and shattered Mirror Surfaces, all of Alka’s movements would be extremely concealed. His ability to control this environment would also be greatly enhanced. His teleportation was fast enough, and his landing points were sufficiently concealed that even Magic Power fluctuations were difficult to detect. But clearly, his move had been anticipated.

He hadn’t detected any form of reconnaissance or any fluctuation that might have been tracking his landing spot.

The instructor smiled and said, ”The experience and intuition of an elder.”
