Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 325: Chapter 191 The Feasibility of the Puppet Legion_3

”No problem.”

Watching Jason leave, Alka propped his chin and looked at the puppet in the basket beside him.

Maybe... maybe it’s really possible.

He muttered to himself, then stared at the puppet in a daze.

After a long while, a touch on his ear made Alka turn his head.

It was Lucilia sitting on the table, swinging her legs and looking at him with a giggle.

”Do you walk without making a sound?” Alka couldn’t help but tease.

”Hmph, hmph, it’s something I’ve learned in the past few days. Isn’t it amazing? It suits my little body.”

Feeling the lingering Stealth aura around Lucilia, Alka couldn’t help but ask, ”You’re not trying to be an assassin again, are you?”

Alka remembered Lucilia mentioning not too long ago that she wanted to wear Armor and be a Warrior.

”No! I want to be a Stealth Warrior.”

Seeing Lucilia’s proud expression, Alka fell silent.

”You mean... the kind of Stealth where you kill everyone you see?”

...

Lucilia widened her eyes at Alka, an inexplicable excitement appearing in them.

”Yeah! Can Stealth work like that?”

It was as if a new door had been opened.

Seeing Lucilia like this, Alka couldn’t help but rub his forehead.

It seemed he had given Lucilia an incredible inspiration.

He quickly said, ”Alright, enough of this. I called you down here for something important.”

Hearing Alka return to serious matters, Lucilia snapped to attention and nodded, adopting an attentive expression.

”We’ve experimented before, haven’t we? Only your current body can reach Three Spirals. Other bodies can only be fixed at Two Spirals and require at least one to two days to reach that level.”

Lucilia nodded. ”Yes. If there’s a high-Energy object, it can speed up the process.”

Previously, when Lucilia became a Toucher, even when switching bodies, she could make the new body a Toucher. Then she would leave the body, and the Energy of the body would return to a normal state.

But when Lucilia advanced to Three Spirals due to the Treasure, it was no longer possible.

The other puppet bodies couldn’t reach such a level. Initially, when she first controlled the Treasure, the Energy it provided was at its peak.

This led to Lucilia’s current puppet body being the strongest, and it had been modified by the Treasure. It was no longer like the first body Alka had created.

This puppet body could now improve along with Lucilia’s strength, just like a real body. Alka couldn’t create such a body himself, though this one was at least based on what he had initially made.

Similarly, if Lucilia attached her soul to other puppet bodies, those other puppet bodies couldn’t achieve such effects because the banner hadn’t enhanced them.

It seemed the enhancement and modification happened only on the first occasion.

However, because of her powerful soul, combined with the puppet’s natural limits, the puppet’s strength could be raised to the Two Spirals limit in about one to two days. If high-Energy items were provided, this process would be quicker.

But that was all. Once Lucilia’s soul left these bodies, the Magic Power within them would rapidly dissipate into the air. The Circuits formed within them would also degrade and vanish.

Unless Alka could create even stronger puppets.

”You know the primary function of this Treasure, right?”

Lucilia nodded. ”Yes, I do.”

”There are seventy-three extra slots that can be given to other Touchers inspired by this Treasure, allowing them to enhance according to my strength: sixty members, twelve squad leaders, and one vice-squad leader.”

However, all of this has a prerequisite: the Touchers must be enlightened by this Treasure.

”Then, is it possible that the Treasure, which inspired you through the Blood and Flesh Spell, could also inspire other puppets that use the Blood and Flesh Spell?”

Upon hearing Alka’s words, Lucilia frowned at him and said, ”Are you thinking of using puppets to replace these members, so the Treasure can fulfill its function?”

”Yes.” That was exactly Alka’s thought.

For the Treasure to work, they had to cultivate Touchers themselves, which was quite troublesome, and they didn’t have the resources at the moment.

Moreover, Alka didn’t like a group of obedient ’slaves.’

Hearing this, Lucilia pondered.

”I don’t know if it can work, but the conditions to become a Toucher are still relatively demanding. I became a Toucher because I had a highly compatible Flesh Puppet body, coupled with a normal soul.”

”But other puppets don’t have souls.”

Yes, that was the crux of the problem: other puppets didn’t have souls. How could they become Touchers?

Alka said, ”The Treasure was likely suppressed in the Homeland Sea. After leaving the Homeland Sea, this suppression disappeared, leading to some enhancements. For example, the Dream Catcher and the Mirror Surface both experienced improvements, though the Mirror Surface had been less suppressed to begin with.”

Could the Bloody Team Banner, rejected and despised by the Holy Mother Church, also have been significantly suppressed? This was why Alka wondered if success might be achievable.

”Meaning, can you forcibly control this Treasure to lower its requirements for Touchers, compelling it to enlighten puppets to achieve what we want?”

Hearing this, Lucilia pondered for a moment. The Bloody Team Banner materialized, and she frowned at the banner.

”I might give it a try.”

”Then I’ll find a way to give these puppets mechanisms similar to souls. This should increase the chances of tricking the Treasure and achieving what we want.”

The two then discussed the details and began their respective efforts.

If the goal was achieved, they would possess enough extra power to make up for the Treasure Hunting Team’s scarcity of members.
