From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Alright, the press conference is over. From now on, we’ll only be talking about Arsenal.”

Mancini stood up to tidy his clothes, and finally gave a gentlemanly bow to the journalists, quite fitting for his image as a courteous gentleman.

Aside from being infuriated by Balotelli’s enigmatic actions, he rarely loses his temper.

”Arsenal continues to lead the Premier League standings with an absolute advantage, Manchester City has surpassed Manchester United, making this season’s Premier League title race increasingly intense!” — Sky Sports

”Top of the standings: Arsenal 19 wins, 5 draws, 62 points! Second place: Manchester City 18 wins, 4 draws, 2 losses, 58 points! Third place: Manchester United 17 wins, 5 draws, 2 losses, 56 points!” — Premier League Standings

...

February 8th, 2 days to go until the derby match against rival team Tottenham.

Inside the villa, Ma’el completed the signing with his private doctor Lewis, ultimately securing this highly esteemed English doctor in the football world at a price of 7,000 Pounds weekly pay.

Lewis will conduct real-time checks before and after each match and devise the most appropriate therapy plan based on Ma’el’s physical condition to minimize injury risks.

This plan will also be provided to Harry and Safina to adjust Ma’el’s routine recovery massages and diet.

Almost complete!

Ma’el probably doesn’t need new helpers for physical therapy and training; these five can basically handle everything for him. At most, he might need two more masseurs in the future to enhance massage efficiency.

Seems like there’s also a psychological therapist?

Ma’el feels he probably doesn’t need this as he’s very mentally healthy, and the joy he gets from the football field is something he can savor for a lifetime.

”Glad we reached a collaboration.”

Lewis, dressed in a black shirt and trousers, stands around 175 cm tall, with snow-white hair yet an impressively sturdy build, similar to Davis.

”Then let’s go to my private hospital now for a comprehensive body check?”

He closed his pen and took out the car key, ”I can drive you there and bring you back afterwards.

”Such comprehensive examinations are fine once a month, no need for too much hassle. For regular checkups, I can handle it alone. I can assess all your conditions through tactile evaluations of your bodily reactions.”

”Alright.” Ma’el didn’t refuse, following him as he walked, calculating the overall team expenses along the way.

22,000 Pounds a week...meaning he has to score a goal or make an assist each week to pay their wages without feeling the pinch.

In the Premier League and Champions League, scoring a goal earns him a bonus of 20,000 Pounds; making an assist is 15,000, along with attendance bonuses, roughly amounting to 30,000 and 25,000, enough to off-set these expenses.

It seems, this season, he really hasn’t missed out on Arsenal’s bonuses, having already scored 31 goals and made 19 assists in the Premier League and Champions League.

That’s 620,000 Pounds + 285,000 Pounds, totaling 905,000 Pounds.

Adding attendance bonuses, various stage bonuses like 10+, 20+, etc., it’s approximately around 1.2 million Pounds.

This portion of income doesn’t need to be taxed or shared with Mendes, equating to nearly 14 weeks of his post-tax salary, still very appealing.

Maintain!

As long as he continues scoring, he can effortlessly sustain this team responsible for taking care of his physical condition!

In the future, with higher income and greater attention.

He really needs to find a batch of professional account managers and PR to operate his social media accounts, enhancing influence and fan engagement, alongside various incomes.

Then, he can leverage his personal performance on the field to support a substantial team working for him, focused solely on enhancing his various values.

He only needs to concentrate on delivering consistently efficient performances on the field, and everything will naturally come to fruition!

”We’ve arrived.”

Lewis drove the car, quickly arriving outside a commercial standalone villa, ”This is my private hospital, inside are two of my assistants, today’s comprehensive examination will be done with their cooperation with the equipment.”

Ma’el nodded and got out of the car, soon seeing two middle-aged individuals, a man and a woman, both around forty.

Guided by these two, he completed some checks using various high-tech instruments, and his first reaction was that top foreign private doctors truly earn well.

This room full of equipment must have cost a lot...

He waited outside for a while until Lewis, still dressed in black, emerged, holding a stack of data reports, ”Many things are as I imagined, but strangely, your physical foundation is too good.

”Moreover, it’s not innate; there are traces of postnatal training.”

Seeing Ma’el’s expressionless face, Lewis shook his head while holding the data sheet and said, ”Athletes start training when their bodies aren’t fully developed, which is a risky period.

”At that time, unable to identify their body’s strengths and weaknesses and unaware of its limits, most athletes end up wrecking their bodies, resulting in wear-and-tear and underlying issues everywhere.

”This is irreversible; realizing it after growing up is too late, at which point all their therapy and recovery methods can only be described as conservative treatment.

”Yes, their recovery, when put nicely, is called therapy, but in essence, it’s already treatment.”

”But you...”

He paused here for a long time before putting down the data sheet and confirmed, ”It seems there’s no underlying issues or wear-and-tear; everything about your body is approaching perfect condition.”

”In that case...as long as protection is adequate, your injury probability can indeed be infinitely reduced.”

The scene fell into a long silence; Ma’el didn’t know what to say either, and simply sat with a subtle smile on his face.
