From Arsenal to the Ball God

He wore a white shirt and black vest on top, with trousers below, making his legs look very long.

”Haha.....!”

Such long legs flailing around wildly is quite comical, not to mention appearing on the snooker stage known for its gentlemanly demeanor.

This will make it even harder for Selby to shake off the nickname ’Clown’, marking yet another classic moment in the snooker player’s career.

And all of this has propelled Ma’el’s name into the spotlight at unimaginable speed.

More people have come to learn about him through this celebration move, learn about his achievements at Arsenal, and have even grown fond of football indirectly.

Just like Pele, Di Stefano, Puskas, Gerd Muller, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Maradona, Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldo, and Messi, names that have shone brightly in the history of football.

Ma’el is gradually becoming a representative figure among the younger generation, and like these superstars, he will carry the flag of football in the future, attracting new generations of fans.

Many people fall in love with football due to a superstar, a coach, or even a match, a goal.

It is due to countless outstanding people carrying the flag for this sport, creating countless brilliant goals, moments, and stories.

This captivating sport can endure throughout time, bringing both joy and inspiration to generations, always reigning as the world’s number one sport.

Together, they leave a brilliant mark alongside this great sport in the long river of human history, becoming immortal.

Ma’el’s first task is to catch up with these people, through long-term exceptional performance and accumulating various honors, truly reaching their level of influence and attention.

Then, he will pave a new path unique to himself, reaching a completely new level.

Fans love to use various titles like star, saint, ball king to rate historical-level players; when he reaches that level, he hopes people will shout out a new title—Ball God.

...

As time enters February, due to Arsenal advancing to the FA Cup fifth round and the English League Cup final, their schedule for this month sees some minor adjustments and updates.

On the morning of February 1st, Ma’el noticed the new schedule within the team’s group chat.

He printed a copy from the printer and taped it to the middle of his photo wall, then began to examine it.

Even though this year is a leap year, February has 29 days, missing one or two days still makes their schedule exceedingly tight this month.

On February 3rd, they will challenge Bolton Wanderers away in the 23rd round of the Premier League, followed by a home match against Blackburn Rovers in the 24th round on February 6th.

Then it’s the 25th round of the Premier League against Tottenham on February 10th, the 26th round away against Sunderland on February 15th, and the FA Cup fifth round against Sunderland on February 19th.

On February 24th, they have a Champions League away match against Serie A powerhouse AC Milan in the round of 16, and the English League Cup final against Cardiff City on February 28th.

Altogether, there are 4 Premier League rounds, 1 Champions League knockout match, 1 FA Cup round, and 1 English League Cup final, with around 3 days of rest between each match.

”Arsenal can’t handle four fronts.”

Standing behind Ma’el, Davis looked at the schedule chart and said, ”Having been with you for so long, I consider myself somewhat familiar with this team. The rotation players with decent skill upfront are 2, midfield 2, and rear 2.”

”Such a lineup barely copes with even the Premier League, let alone adding the Champions League, FA Cup, and the English League Cup.”

”I don’t know how you’ve made it this season. The fact that you, Van Persie, Song, Arteta, and others haven’t been injured is the main reason; in great form, high attendance—one can perform as if they’re one and a half.”

Davis previously worked at a club in the Primeira Liga and is fairly knowledgeable about clubs, ”Putting all these together, the probability is really small; perhaps it’s destiny that your team has a hope for revival this season.”

”However, if you don’t quickly subtract but instead add to the team which nearly collapsed playing three fronts in January, it’s bound to snuff out the flames of revival step by step.”

Ma’el looked thoughtfully at the schedule chart, knowing that fighting on four fronts is improbable, then it becomes a matter of whether three fronts can hold up.

Therefore, this season they must clinch the Premier League championship without fail!

Only by winning the championship can the team’s value rise significantly; various broadcast dividends and sponsorship endorsement fees will also increase accordingly.

Moreover, the members of the championship team will receive a collective rise in worth, allowing the club to sell some substitute players and recoup a significant amount.

If Kroenke and Usmanov still remain in a deadlock, Arsenal’s financial situation next season would improve, permitting the recruitment of stronger players and possessing a deeper bench.

Then they can simultaneously embark on the Premier League and Champions League journey, perhaps bringing along the FA Cup or English League Cup and still play more comfortably.

As a member of the team and the person whom the old professor places the most hope upon, Ma’el sometimes must consider issues from the team’s perspective, helping the team improve to the best of his ability.

In this process, he also gains a lot, along with the team possesses higher value.

”Three fronts won’t work either.”

Davis seemed coincidentally contemplating the same as Ma’el, expressing his thoughts, ”Both the Champions League and the FA Cup are in the round of 16, too far away from the championship.”
