From Arsenal to the Ball God

At this point, Arsenal’s January schedule has all concluded, with 7 games throughout the month. They stumbled at times but eventually achieved a good result of 4 wins and 3 draws.

Across three fronts, they maintained an unbeaten run with 1 win and 2 draws in the Premier League while keeping the top spot of the points table and extending their lead over second place by 4 points.

In the FA Cup, they won both the third and fourth-round matches to advance to the last 16.

The English League Cup, needless to say, saw them draw first and then win over two legs, tenaciously beating Liverpool to reach the final!

Making progress in parallel!

This month, although their performance couldn’t earn Wenger his second Manager of the Month award or let Ma’el and Van Persie claim Player of the Month, it could still be considered nearly perfect.

In such difficult circumstances, they didn’t fall behind on any front, gritting their teeth and persevering!

The next day, the entire Arsenal fan community of North London was discussing the team’s performance this month and the star striker Ma’el.

”Doo doo doo.....!”

On the streets, in taverns, and at major shopping centers, you can find Arsenal fans placing one hand on their crotch and the other in a gun shape at their heads, swinging left and right humorously.

This is Ma’el’s celebration after scoring the winning goal, full of humor and very catchy, perfectly helping Arsenal fans express their recent optimism and confidence.

”25 goals and 12 assists in the Premier League, 5 goals and 4 assists in the Champions League, Ma’el has scored a total of 30 goals this season!”

”A top striker! You could say that apart from Messi and Ronaldo, no other forward has a clear statistical advantage over him!”

”Breaking 30 goals in the Premier League is not a problem, and there’s hope to break Alan Shearer’s and Andy Cole’s goal records..... Not sure if Wenger will keep going in the Champions League. If he does, breaking 8 is not difficult!”

”Don’t bother continuing. It’s only the last 16 now, from here to the final every step would involve home and away legs, which is tiring. Any huge injury that impacts the Premier League title race would be a problem, possibly ending up with nothing.”

”Summing up, Arsenal has 16 matches remaining in the Premier League this season, 1 English League Cup match, a total of 17 critical games, averaging about 5 matches per month.”

”With just three and a half months left, opening a new front in the schedule would be too heavy; it’s better to give up some and focus entirely on the Premier League and English League Cup titles!”

”Watch the club’s choice. Wenger should be able to make better decisions; he’s more familiar with the team than we are.”

”Quickly help me record; I want to learn Ma’el’s celebration dance and post it on Twitter!”

Everywhere, there were Arsenal fans chatting, discussing the club’s situation on all fronts as if each person had become the club’s head coach.

Of course, many were simply imitating Ma’el’s dance steps, accompanied by joyful laughter, recording videos and sharing them on various social media.

Quickly, this captivating dance went viral along with Ma’el’s name, gaining traction beyond just the football community.

The player’s victory goal helped Arsenal defeat their biggest contender, Manchester United, broke records for running stats, and almost 40+ goals created in the Premier League..... These stories already made him headline news everywhere, although outsiders found it hard to empathize.

They weren’t really sure what these achievements meant, and even if they did, they didn’t know how to join in the fun.

But the celebration dance was easy. A simple yet amusing dance step was easy to trend with!

Society has slowly transformed into one driven by trends and celebrity influence, particularly those with outstanding achievements and prominent advantages in specific fields.

People might wear clothes and shoes of the same brand, even mimicking their habits, taking them as role models for learning and aspiration.

Many people following Ma’el’s celebration dance isn’t surprising.

He went viral this season, even if people are not into football, they’ve likely encountered videos and reports about him, and he’s pretty familiar to them.

With more media coverage and reports seeking exposure, people quickly learned what kind of a player he is and remembered the keywords.

His handsome appearance, superb skills, increasingly graceful playstyle, representation of youthful talent, hardworking and determined personality, a young multimillion-pound mogul!

Such a person, viewed from any angle, is almost perfect, captivating!

”Doo doo doo.....!”

Suddenly, on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media, there appeared many handsome men and women, middle-aged couples with one hand on their crotch and the other in a gun shape on their heads, jumping left and right.

Some did this after scoring in school basketball and volleyball games, others simply imitated at home. From their dress and home settings, most seemed unlikely to be football fans.

Many paired it with catchy and fitting music, using various editing techniques to make it into a meme, giving the action more exposure.

”I also think it’s pretty fun, it fits well with my racing suit.” — F1 racer Hamilton pairs his video of bouncing in a racing suit

He’s seen in the video wearing a helmet, resembling an anime character, bouncing left and right exchanging weight lightly.

Even in a snooker German Masters tournament concluded that night, the Jester Mark Selby, after potting the decisive ball that put him ahead, stopped to laugh while holding his crotch and raising his cue to jump about.
