Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1095: Chapter 1095: Daring Rescue of Her Father

”Where are you? I’ll give it to you!” Mia Lane didn’t hesitate, ”The Jade Pendant is in my bag. I’ll bring it to you now!”

”You don’t need to give it to me. You won’t see me. I’ll send you an address.” The man’s voice was hoarse, like a demon in the dark night, ”Deliver the Jade Pendant, and I’ll release him. Remember, come alone.”

”Okay!” Mia hung up the phone, waiting for the text notification sound on her phone.

Trevor asked worriedly, ”How will you deliver it?”

Mia pressed the elevator button to go down, ”He said only I can go, or he’ll harm my dad.”

When the elevator door opened, Trevor followed her in, ”It’s too dangerous!”

”No matter how dangerous it is, I must go!” Mia’s phone chimed with a notification, and she noted down the address, ”It’s because I know it’s dangerous that I have to rescue my dad quickly!”

Trevor also knew time was pressing; there was no room for discussion.

”I’ll go with you.”

”No, he said only I can go, or he’ll hurt my dad.” Mia anxiously watched the numbers on the elevator decrease, ”Don’t worry, I’ve learned Taekwondo, I’ll adapt to the situation.”

At this moment, Mia’s phone rang; John Jennings wanted to add her on WeChat.

Trevor exchanged a glance with her, both understanding what the other intended.

Trevor quickly said, ”Take my car!” He said, handing her the car keys.

Ding, the elevator door opened, and Trevor ran out!

Mia looked at his departing figure, then accepted John Jennings’ friend request. As expected, his video call came through quickly.

Mia didn’t connect immediately; she watched Trevor disappear at the hall entrance.

She calmed herself and answered while swiftly walking out.

Mia glanced at the screen, spotting a man in a black robe and hat glancing at her, then picking up a cup of tea.

”Don’t hang up the video. Did you note down the address?”

”Noted.”

After leaving the hall, she got into Trevor’s car and sat in the driver’s seat, securing her phone, ”Don’t harm my dad, you’d better let me see him!”

While fastening her seatbelt, Mia glanced at the man in the video.

John Jennings took a sip of tea, speaking coldly, ”You’re in no position to negotiate with me. You must trust me.”

She started the car and drove towards the location, ”I hope you keep your word.”

At this moment, Justin Kingston’s call came in, the ringtone sounding, but the video was still connected.

To answer the call, the video would have to disconnect.

At this moment, John Jennings on the other end of the video could also hear the incoming call ringtone.

He leisurely crossed his legs, took a sip of tea, and squinted at the distant reeds.

Mia didn’t answer Justin Kingston’s call; it was what John Jennings expected.

Meanwhile, a Lamborghini sped towards The Dalton Group; Justin was particularly worried John Jennings would target Mia!

The couple drove fast, speeding past each other!

Justin had the gas pedal floored, wishing he could fly the car like a plane. He had a premonition that John Jennings would definitely target his wife!

If his wife didn’t answer the phone, it was very likely John Jennings had found her.

A certain high-rise building, the room on the top floor, spacious and bright.

At the door, four black men wearing sunglasses stood guard. Among them, two had scars on their faces.

David Dalton stood by the window; no one held him, but four big men stood guard in front of him.

Time ticked by, everyone was waiting.

David Dalton anxiously looked at his watch again, ”What do you want? Why exactly did you capture me? Say something.”

No one answered because the boss instructed them to just capture the person and keep silent.
