Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1051: Chapter 1051: Trevor Taken Away by the Police

Mia Lane’s heart was stirred, those scenes from more than twenty years ago vividly resurfaced in her mind.

Mia didn’t mind the disparity in status; she reached out and hugged her, ”Butler Warren, Dad said you prepared rooms for us, thank you for your hard work.”

Butler Warren’s eyes welled up with tears, ”It’s good to be back, it’s good to be back. It’s not hard work. I’ve been waiting day and night. I never thought you were still alive. God bless, great fortune and destiny...”

Then she greeted Justin Kingston with a bow, ”Hello, Mr. Kingston, no, no, no, hello, son-in-law!”

Justin Kingston looked at her, unsure if she was a good person, but he still politely acknowledged her.

Then Mia looked at the little boy standing on the stairs.

He wasn’t Dad’s child. How would Dad bear this news? For a man, it must be a huge blow, right?

Luckily, Justin promised her not to tell Dad about this for now.

Thinking about the boy’s background, Mia felt a hatred for Joan Graham that made her teeth grit. As a fellow woman, how could she be so cruel?

”Butler Warren, what’s his name?” Mia softly asked, then stepped forward and took the boy’s hand.

Ethan Dalton was very quiet and well-behaved and did not resist, not showing any aversion to her.

This surprised Butler Warren quite a bit, ”Miss, his name is Ethan Dalton. He’s the son of the lady and Mr. Dalton, but... he suffers from severe autism and developmental delays.”

”How old is he this year?” Mia turned her eyes.

”Twelve years old.”

As expected, just as she had guessed.

Then Butler Warren led everyone into the dining room, and Mr. Dalton called, telling them to eat first.

At this time, Trevor’s car just stopped at the community downstairs, surrounded by several police cars!

He didn’t understand what was going on before being arrested by the police.

There was blood on his body, blood on his hands, blood on the steering wheel. This was conclusive evidence.

”We suspect you are related to a murder case, please come with us!” The police showed relevant documents.

”I’m not the one who committed the crime; you can investigate!” Trevor was at a loss, ”I was saving someone. I have witnesses! That’s why there’s blood on me!”

”Come back to the police station with us to assist with the investigation.” The police said nothing more and took him into the car.

Trevor was speechless but compliant, thinking, was it Justin reporting against him, or Joan reporting to harm him?

But he believed the police would give him justice, and wouldn’t let the bad guys succeed.

Outside the hospital emergency room—

Joan Graham was covered in blood. She picked up the phone again and dialed the police station, asking, ”Have you caught the culprit? My daughter’s life is uncertain and still being rescued! You must not let the murderer go free!”

”We have already arrested the suspect in the community, is it Trevor?”

”Yes, yes, yes! It’s him!” Joan said fiercely, ”I saw him committing the crime with my own eyes! He is the murderer!”

”We handle cases based on evidence and will thoroughly investigate the truth to give justice to the victim.”,

At this time, Joan saw David Garcia coming out of the elevator.

She quickly hung up the phone, looked at him coming toward her, and felt a trace of comfort.

Tears burst from her eyes, ”David, I thought you wouldn’t come...”

Joan forced herself up and fell into David’s arms, crying loudly in grief, ”Trevor, Trevor went after Grace...”

David Garcia held her arm tightly, supporting her, ”What happened? Why did he go after her?”

With so much blood on her body, it was imaginable how severely Sean Dalton was hurt!

”Trevor hurt her...” Joan sobbed, ”I saw with my own eyes Trevor swinging a stick at her, I saw Trevor covered in blood.”

David Garcia shook his head, his first thought was—this is impossible!
