Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1059: Chapter 1059: Sean Dalton’s Downfall

Mia Lane was slightly taken aback and let go of Justin Kingston’s hand.

She turned around, bent down, and gently held the little boy’s shoulder, her voice soft, ”Ethan, sis has to go to the company now, I’ll come back to see you when I have time, okay?”

Mia could see the reluctance in his eyes, and he also held her hand tightly.

”Be good, listen at home,” she patted his little head again.

And Ethan Dalton seemed to understand her words, although he didn’t say anything, he actually nodded.

This made Butler Warren delighted, ”The young master actually responded!!”

This seemed to be something that had never happened before.

Mia looked up and saw Butler Warren’s face full of smiles, ”Miss, the young master usually doesn’t respond to people, especially strangers. He’s afraid of them, you two really have a connection!”

In Ethan Dalton’s mind, there constantly flashed the scene of this sister jumping into the icy river to save him.

Mia smiled gently, ”Butler Warren, please take good care of him, we’re going to the company.”

”Okay, don’t worry about it.”

Then Mia’s gaze returned to Ethan Dalton’s face, she squatted down in front of him and straightened his clothes, ”Ethan, listen to Butler Warren at home, okay? Don’t run around.”

Ethan Dalton was filled with emotion, no one had ever spoken to him so patiently before.

Facing his sister’s clear gaze, he let go unwillingly.

Until he watched Mia leave with Justin Kingston, getting into the car in the yard, Ethan Dalton’s gaze still hadn’t moved away.

Butler Warren could tell, he really liked this sister.

And Miss Stella was kind and didn’t reject him.

Ethan Dalton has severe autism and has been longing for love, but Sean Dalton couldn’t give it to him, even oppressing him for long periods.

Mia saving him from drowning left a deep impression on Ethan Dalton’s heart.

On the way to the company.

Mia’s thoughts returned from Ethan Dalton, she turned to look at the man driving, ”Do you have something to say to me?”

”Can’t I just spend more time with you?” Justin Kingston suddenly smiled.

Mia looked at him and didn’t say anything more.

After a night’s heavy rain, everything in the world became clearer and brighter.

Just as the car was approaching The Dalton Group, Justin Kingston spoke to her, ”I’ve received news that after nearly ten hours of rescue, Sean Dalton barely survived, but this life holds little meaning for the rest of his days.”

He told her this, originally wanting to make her happy.

”What do you mean?” Mia turned to him, a bit puzzled, ”What do you mean by no meaning?”

”The doctor said she might become a vegetable because her head suffered severe trauma; the rod hit her directly in the head.”

Mia recalled the scene from last night, inevitably a bit shocked.

Justin Kingston continued, ”Or after she wakes up, she’ll be mentally ill, her mind not functioning properly.”

Then Justin smiled, glancing at his wife—

”In any case, she can never go back to the way she was. She’s bearing the consequences sown by her mother, and of course, part of that wickedness is her own.”

The wind blowing through the window tousled Mia’s hair. Hearing such news, she wasn’t particularly happy.

Looking out at the scenery, she sighed lightly, ”If they weren’t so excessive, even if Ethan Dalton is my biological father’s son, I would spare this mother and daughter for the sake of the child.”

Justin Kingston had guessed she’d be soft-hearted.

That’s why he lied about the paternity test.

This might be the only time in Justin’s life that he was not completely honest with his wife.

The Lamborghini quickly stopped below The Dalton Group’s building.

Mia unbuckled her seatbelt and was about to get out of the car when Justin Kingston held her hand.

She turned to him, dazed, and asked, ”What’s wrong?”

”Keep your distance from Trevor,” Justin advised kindly, ”Don’t let someone take advantage of it. You and President Dalton can be seen as father-daughter, but being seen with Trevor might be misunderstood.”
