Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 643: Chapter 643: Wants to Take Her to the Waterfall

”Alright then, you go ahead and get busy. I’ll ask everyone what they want to eat.”

After a brief chat, Mia Lane ended the call, and Justin Kingston headed off to a meeting.

In the elegantly designed cabin, Mia closed her laptop and walked outside. A few people were chatting in the yard, and not far away, an auntie was making snacks.

It was a picture of tranquil times.

”I just called CEO Kingston and reported our situation here. He said when we get back, he’s treating us to a feast!” Mia couldn’t help but share the good news with everyone. ”So you can think about the menu and send what you want to eat to the small group chat. Someone will tally them up.”

”Wow! That’s awesome!”

”I want shrimp!”

”I want shrimp too!”

”Is caviar okay?”

”Of course it is.”

”I want frog fish!”

”Alright, alright, just remember to send it. I can’t remember everything.”

Everyone was excited and started thinking about what to eat. After all, the company was footing the bill, so they could eat things they wouldn’t normally splurge on.

Faces were lit up with genuine smiles, and everyone chatted enthusiastically with Mia, like friends, without a hint of distance between boss and subordinates.

An hour later.

In the Kingston Group’s CEO office.

Justin Kingston received a phone call. He listened intently to the voice on the other end, and his expression turned serious.

The report went—

”CEO Kingston, Martin has already slipped out of our surveillance range; it’s as if he vanished into thin air. International police are also investigating, but there’s no trace of him for now. Lydia Ingram had contact with him, but no substantial evidence has been found yet.”

Justin calmly toyed with a pen in his other hand. ”Continue the investigation.” His demeanor was as steady as Mount Tai.

”Yes, CEO Kingston.”

After ending the call, a cold light shone in Justin’s deep eyes, impossible to read.

Footsteps approached, and Finn Morgan walked in, ”CEO Kingston.”

Justin focused on him as he approached, reporting, ”We’ve found seven of Lydia Ingram’s wives. They’ve been arranged as you requested, and we’re planning to locate the other two tomorrow.”

”Hmm.”

Justin had always trusted Finn’s efficiency.

”CEO Kingston.” Finn stood beside him, a slight frown on his brow, ”The death of his tenth wife is likely connected to him. I’m already having people investigate.”

Finn knew that CEO Kingston had been collecting evidence of Lydia Ingram’s crimes.

”Very good.” Justin was determined to bring him down.

Then he told Finn, ”It’s confirmed that he’s colluding with Martin; we just haven’t found conclusive evidence yet.”

”To avoid detection, one must do nothing.” Finn said, ”We will definitely find some clues.”

”Exactly.” Justin’s lips curled into a subtle smile, ”That’s what I think too.”

Then he changed the subject, ”The day after tomorrow, Mia and the others will return to the company. She called just now and said the design is complete, and everyone is very satisfied with it.”

Finn was delighted and tentatively asked, ”Can I take Hailey Hale to have some fun tomorrow? We’ll come back with the group the day after.”

Justin’s gaze fell on him, taking Hailey? They...

Their eyes met, and Finn seemed to realize something, quickly explaining, ”No, it’s just that she’s always wanted to go, and I also want to take the opportunity to have a look. I’ve heard Aethel Falls is quite spectacular.”

”Sure.” Justin didn’t say much, ”Just hand over your work to me.”

Young people, love between men and women is perfectly normal.
