Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 641: Chapter 641: Justin Kingston’s Scheme

”Hailey, can you help me make a cup of milk?”

Finn Morgan’s voice echoed from the study. Hailey Hale paused her show, recalling the moment he shielded her from a bottle. She stood up and responded, ”Okay, I’ll make it now.”

He must be very busy with work, right?

She boiled the milk and brought it to him, ”Drink it while it’s hot.” Though she wasn’t a meticulous person, she unintentionally showed a trace of tenderness when facing him.

”Thank you.”

In the subsequent time, Finn would either be hungry or thirsty, or he’d feel uncomfortable somewhere, asking her for a shoulder massage, or the wound on his back would itch, prompting her to apply anti-inflammatory medicine again...

”Hey, are you deliberately preventing me from watching my show properly?” Hailey asked while tidying up the medicine box, as she felt he was doing it on purpose.

Finn, caught out, was unfazed, ”Of course not.” He denied it.

The girl glanced at him but didn’t argue, taking the medicine box and leaving the room.

She walked into the master bedroom and locked the door behind her, then lay on the bed to continue watching her show.

The faint scent from his body permeated from the bedding; she took a serious sniff— it really smelled good.

At night, Aethel Falls.

In the brightly lit cabin, Mia Lane opened her computer, sitting at the desk, keeping her eyes on the current state of the jewelry industry.

This year’s jewelry business is worse than ever, with many companies stuck with stock for over half a year, unable to sell much despite aggressive marketing and price cuts...

Some couldn’t even settle the payment for goods, and there were those who jumped from buildings... Everyone’s under too much pressure.

Last year, a company that exclusively dealt in jewelry, once highly successful, saw a 56% drop in its yearly net profit, as reported online, offering a glimpse of the overall situation.

Yet Mia remains confident in Kingston Group’s future because the brand is strong, and the designers are excellent.

She occasionally noted something down with a pen, deeply analyzing, and using her wisdom and rationality to navigate Kingston Group’s course.

Before going to bed, Justin Kingston called her on video.

In the video, he held a glass of red wine while standing by the window, softly expressing his longing for her, and informing Mia that the children were having a good time at Clearwater Bay.

He had visited them and even stayed for dinner.

Early the next morning, in the president’s office of Kingston Group.

When Finn Morgan entered, Justin Kingston said to him, ”Come here for a moment.”

He handed Finn a note and instructed, ”This matter stays between us; no need to let others know, including Hailey Hale.”

Finn, puzzled, opened the note, which contained many names.

Justin told him, ”These are all Lydia Ingram’s ex-wives, the addresses may not be entirely accurate, but go find them.”

Finn, being clever, naturally understood what he meant, ”Yes, I’ll find them right away.”

Justin was just preparing in advance; after all, Monica Usher was determined to rival Kingston Group. By the time the True Love series is launched, Lydia Ingram’s side will surely be formidable.

Ariel Chandler’s death was ruled a suicide, so the attention quickly faded, with no one investigating the truth.

All day long, Finn was out running around.

In the morning, he found three of Lydia Ingram’s ex-wives, and in the afternoon, found four more, seven wives in just one day.

In a secluded mansion, a black SUV pulled up.

The car door opened, and Finn got out.

He turned to the anxious woman in the car, ”Get out; we’re here.”

”What exactly do you want?” The woman looked at him nervously, ”I’m a good citizen, never done anything wrong, just once stupidly involved with Lydia Ingram. If you have any grievances, take it out on him.”

”That’s right.” Finn said to her, ”I’m the special assistant to the president of Kingston Group. Please get out of the car. You’ll stay here for the time being; you’ll be well cared for, and you won’t be lonely, as you’re not the only one here.”

The woman furrowed her brows at him, ”What do you mean? Who else is here?”

Finn thought to himself, why is she so hard to deal with?

He added, ”We’ll pay you daily as compensation for your lost wages. Just get out; you don’t have to do anything.”

The woman, realizing she couldn’t escape, got out of the car and followed him into the mansion, only to find it was like a grand reunion of Lydia Ingram’s ex-wives!
