Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 515: Chapter 515: First Day on the Job

Justin Kingston raised his teacup and calmly took a sip of Pu’er tea.

Kristina Kingston decided not to intervene anymore; the world belongs to the children, she’s grown old and can’t manage it any longer.

The only person who can accompany her son throughout his life is Mia Lane.

At this moment, Finn Morgan had gone to the charity gala venue — The Victoria Hotel.

The major arrangements for the venue had already concluded fervently, leaving only small details to wrap up.

For a corporation to achieve an excellent market reputation and corporate image, a charity gala is indispensable, and for the Kingston Group, it happens once every five years, highly anticipated by many.

The media is most concerned about whether this year’s donations will be several times higher than previous years.

Hosting a charity gala isn’t easy; overall, it must be well-planned. Finn Morgan led the planning team, working tirelessly for an entire month.

Deciding which guests to invite, the theme of the gala, and the clear division of staff duties — all issues were budgeted for in advance.

”Is the lighting here still a bit dim?” Finn Morgan, with a keen eye for detail, spoke gently, ”It needs enhancing, let’s add another lamp.”

”Okay, Special Assistant Morgan.” The accompanying staff noted it down.

”Move those tables and chairs a bit to the right, try to leave the passageway wide.”

”Alright.”

”The stage background is ready, the flowers will be airlifted on the day, and must be guaranteed fresh.”

”Rest assured, it’s already coordinated.”

”CEO Kingston cares greatly about security measures, they must be emphasized, no mistakes are permitted. Mrs. Kingston will also attend.”

”Understood.”

The scene was grand; this hall, majestic and luxurious, could effortlessly accommodate over a thousand people.

Countless staff were still busy, handling details, striving for perfection.

Special Assistant Morgan’s personal oversight shows CEO Kingston’s level of importance on this charity gala—in many matters, Finn Morgan represents Justin Kingston.

On the way back from Clearwater Bay.

Mia Lane snuggled in Justin Kingston’s arms and took the initiative to speak, ”When can I take office?”

The man’s eyes shone brightly as he listened to her question, ”Will it be as a designer or as the Group’s Vice President?”

”Have you already decided?” Justin Kingston was pleased, ”I thought it would take ten days or half a month. The Vice President’s office has been prepared for you a long time ago; everything inside is brand new, just waiting for you to report in.”

”Then I’ll go tomorrow.” Mia Lane was well-prepared, ”In the beginning, there will definitely be skeptical people, but I will prove myself with my abilities.”

”Alright.” Justin Kingston admired her attitude, ”Looking forward to your performance.”

After returning home.

Justin Kingston dialed Finn Morgan’s number in the study, standing in front of the window with one hand in his pocket, speaking warmly, ”Mia will start working at the company tomorrow. Make arrangements for the morning meeting and introduce her to the company’s senior management.”

”Yes.”

Justin Kingston asked, ”Where are you?”

”Just returned from the charity gala site.” Finn Morgan reported the situation there to him.

Justin Kingston listened attentively, ”Thank you for your hard work.”

The next morning.

At the Kingston Group, eight o’clock in the morning, in the imposing high-level meeting room, with excellent lighting.

Beside the meeting table, accommodating a hundred people, all company executives were present, dressed in suits, appearing as industry elites, ages ranging from 30 to 60.

Each had a small national flag in front of their table; the laptop was hidden, slowly emerging from the table and automatically booting up.

The news of Mrs. Kingston coming to take the position as Group Vice President was widely circulated among them; today was the introduction meeting.

Over half of the executives trusted CEO Kingston’s judgment, while a small portion doubted Mia Lane’s capability, opposing the matter yet unable to do anything about it.

In the hallway outside, Justin Kingston walked with Mia Lane, his arm around her shoulder, leading her towards the meeting room.

Finn Morgan was also by their side.
