Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 563: Chapter 563: Press Conference

Meanwhile, the PR department started to suppress the news.

But the mouths of netizens can’t be sealed; countless keyboard warriors have saved photos, and it can’t be suppressed quickly. Some major media outlets deleted the articles, but forums and chat threads are popping up endlessly.

Everyone is waiting for Justin Kingston to give an explanation.

In the deputy CEO’s office, Mia Lane was looking at the financial statements, appearing calm.

When she entered the company just now, she saw a group of reporters, but they didn’t recognize her car, so she wasn’t surrounded.

Half an hour later—

The reporters outside were invited into the main building of The Kingston Group, in the reception hall. The venue was already set up, with nearly a hundred reporters waiting patiently.

”Please ask questions one by one later, don’t be too crowded,” the person in charge informed them in advance, ”CEO Kingston’s time is precious, he won’t stay here too long, but he will definitely clarify things.”

”Will Mrs. Kingston appear? Will she come to help clarify?” A cheeky reporter asked.

Then many reporters started to stir things up, hoping to see the couple together to catch subtle expressions on their faces.

But the person in charge asked, ”Is CEO Kingston unable to speak clearly? Does he need Mrs. Kingston to help speak?”

”...” Everyone instantly fell silent.

Just as the atmosphere was a bit chilly, Justin Kingston appeared at the door with one hand in his pocket. His silhouette was slender, his aloof and cold face showing obvious detachment, accompanied by the equally handsome Finn Morgan.

The reporters quieted down and took their seats, looking at him excitedly.

Justin Kingston directly spoke, ”Before you ask questions, I’ll explain the origin of the photos to you all. If there are any further doubts, you can ask. I will answer five questions.”

The venue was very quiet, all eyes were on his face.

”The girl is named Emily. Her father, Mr. Johnson, was a friend of mine who passed away. All his belongings were handed over to Emily for safekeeping. I went to Korland to find her solely to see a record book that contains all of Mr. Johnson’s design materials before his death.”

Justin said, ”As for why I appeared in her bedroom and sat on her bed edge, it’s because she deceived me. She said her leg was injured, and that her voice was damaged, speaking very softly. For communication convenience, considering her situation, I didn’t think much of it.”

”I have a clear conscience, but was cunningly used by her. This matter has spread, causing a negative impact externally, especially on my wife. I express my sincerest apologies. I have already explained this misunderstanding to her and thank her for her trust.” Justin bravely admitted, ”I will spend the rest of my life caring for Mia, giving her enough love and warmth.”

Upstairs, in the deputy CEO’s office.

Mia Lane was watching the live stream on her computer, seeing Justin seriously explaining and making promises about their future.

She strangely felt odd inside, clearly, nothing had happened, yet he’s explaining something?

Then reporters asked five trivial questions, which he patiently answered before turning to leave. Some reporters tried to chase after him but were stopped by the bodyguards in time.

Watching his lonely back, Mia felt a wave of heartache.

The resentment in her heart naturally lessened a bit.

Soon after, Justin came upstairs to the deputy CEO’s office, without Finn Morgan following him.

When Hailey Hale looked up, Mia Lane closed the computer live stream and looked up at him, their gazes meeting.

”Don’t be angry, okay?” Justin didn’t want her to be upset, walking straight toward her.
