Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 935: Chapter 584: Festival Champion!!

Boom!

The light wings shattered.

The Galarian Rapidash was caught in the stiffness brought by the Ultimate Shock, the astonishment in its eyes gradually calming.

From the perspective of the battle.

Liuqia’s situation was quite dangerous.

Not only was the meticulously planned technique combination broken, but the Galarian Rapidash was stuck in an awkward position, especially since it was weak against the Steel Attribute—

”Move back and use Assist! Iron Head!”

Baimu didn’t hesitate, even though he knew Liuqia, who never acted rashly, surely had a backup plan.

The super-small Blissey perched on Mega Mawile’s head decisively jumped back, completely ignoring its free-fall state, and hummed a gentle tune.

”♫happy~♬”

Upon landing, it bounced like a doll, both small hands grasping a bit of light as it swayed left and right.

Ding~

A radiant glow instantly enveloped the former, making it as splendid as if sculpted from crystal.

In the next moment.

A dazzling silver light emerged!

The two Giant Jaws positioned in front of Mega Mawile suddenly parted, and it, resembling a light silver gemstone, rocketed towards the Galarian Rapidash ahead!

Buzz!

The throbbing energy generated a sharp wind sound!

Yet just as it charged forward, a large cloud dropped suddenly before it.

”Xiao Qingqing~!”

”Chiduo!?”

Mega Mawile had no room to dodge and could only plunge in directly; unexpectedly, the seemingly soft thing had terrifying density and toughness.

The resistance it encountered was akin to forcing its way into a semi-solidified cement pool!

Liuqia was full of smiles.

Vivian’s commentary timely resonated:

”The diamond-like shining Iron Head has been blocked! The ’white cloud’ thrown down from high by Mega Altaria blocked Mawile’s path! Critical Cotton Defense!”

The instant the words were spoken.

Mega Mawile suddenly broke through the ”white cloud” barrier, colliding with the unsuspecting Galarian Rapidash like a cannonball!

Boom!

”Lululu—”

The Galarian Rapidash uncontrollably rolled backward, leaving countless chaotic marks on the ground, although it did not fly off the stage right away.

Liuqia’s encouraging gesture paused.

Beep—

Both sides lost points.

But the point gap widened further under Mega Mawile’s onslaught.

Vivian couldn’t help but click her tongue, ”What a terrifying force! Even Cotton Defense couldn’t stop its attack! Mega Evolution Mawile is indeed a little giant purportedly possessing immense power!”

Baimu’s expression remained calm.

Now Mega Mawile attacked with full force, amplified by Sword Dance and assisted by Blissey, the ”feathers” dropped long-distance by Mega Altaria could already stop for several seconds, which was impressive.

It’s not like it came down to block personally.

”Little Lielie! Don’t be discouraged!”

Liuqia’s smile remained sunny, yet she sighed helplessly inside.

In this grand celebration, no one is perfect, even someone like Baimu, whose capabilities and creativity as a Coordinator Trainer excel in many aspects, has his shortcomings—

The core Pokémon Mawile couldn’t balance its strength with elegance well.

She initially planned to seize this point as an advantage, but unexpectedly after the semifinals, Mawile suddenly enlightened, successfully finding the key balance and extending it to the finals.

The first technique was just a probe, while the second completely exposed it.

Unexpected changes led to unexpected outcomes, the formerly stoppable techniques became unstoppable.

Don’t look at the Galarian Rapidash still having the strength to fight back; when Mega Mawile broke through Cotton Defense with plenty of remaining force, everything changed fundamentally.

One misstep leads to another.

The five-minute elegant battle leaves little room for trial and error.

Liuqia subtly clenched her fist, determined in her heart.

”Xiao Qingqing, come down and use Feather Dance~! Little Lielie, Dawn~!”

On stage.

The Galarian Rapidash covered in dust knelt, a gentle sunlight poured over it, accompanied by countless white feathers from the descending Mega Altaria, glowing like an angel landing from heaven.

”Chulu~”

”Sigh...”

The former’s somewhat embarrassed appearance paired with the latter’s loving expression oddly added a touch of redemption to the performance.

More importantly, the cascading feathers blocked Mega Mawile’s path.

These energy-constructed phantom items weaken its attack power upon contact, a barrier Liuqia set for the Galarian Rapidash to recover.

The combination of aesthetics and practicality garnered high evaluation from judges.

So even if it’s not a sophisticated combo technique, it still gradually narrowed the gap between the two, bringing both scores to around half.

Needless to say.

She made a brilliant move.

For an elegant battle focused on performance, the current state of the Pokémon is far from the main reason for deductions; the specific operations are. The people to deal with have always been more than just opponents, the judges too!

When the performance captures them, it signals a victory in sight!

As long as the Galarian Rapidash hasn’t fallen, follow her rhythm to fight on! The match can be won!

Wow!

Numerous fans cheering for Liuji excitedly shouted upon seeing this, sweeping away the previous worries and unease from the score lag; the cheering sticks continually waved.

Mawile Fan Club remained composed.

They believed Baimu would never be utterly indifferent, and as the club president, Bei Lingyin noticed a rather crucial detail through observation.

The Blissey is missing!

”Not good! Xiao Qingqing, defend!”

Having been on guard against Blissey, Liuqia likewise reacted, especially after confirming the opponent wasn’t in the blind spot she initially thought behind Mega Mawile.
