Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 907: Chapter 570: Gluttony

Before coming.

The Altered-color Gengar indeed appeared indifferent.

Wandering around, does it matter where?

Could it be worse than that Jarvis guy?

But when it truly saw the human who took down Jarvis, surrounded by numerous intimidating Pokémon, it couldn’t help but shrink into a shadow in panic.

Would it be beaten up?

After all, it had been forced to help Jarvis do so many bad things before.

As wise as the Altered-color Gengar was, through the tumultuous days of being captured, testifying in court, and arriving in Pyrite Town to live, it fully understood its situation—

A former criminal Pokémon, with its previous Trainer sent off to plant trees.

Although it wasn’t discriminated against due to the presence of a certain green-haired human, it and other Super Evolution army members faced fear and rejection from other Pokémon, which was a fact.

It later learned that many Pokémon there had been harmed by human criminals and forcibly brought to this land.

Because of their relatively strong strength and lack of showing much fear and hostility towards humans, outsiders like them were privately categorized by other Pokémon as accomplices.

Fortunately, after the green-haired human explained, the misunderstandings were resolved.

They finally managed to integrate into the new environment.

But the Altered-color Gengar wasn’t satisfied with merely this, although it had been manipulated by Jarvis with fear and technological means, the powerful strength post-Super Evolution deeply attracted it.

It wanted to become strong.

No particular reason, no specific wish to achieve anything.

Just simply wished for powerful strength, longing for the power that Super Evolution could bring.

Therefore.

It agreed to come to Baimu’s side, considering it a chance to abandon darkness for light and transform itself.

The green-haired human who understood Pokémon hearts once told it.

There are no good or bad Pokémon, only Pokémon cared for by good people or used by bad people!

The Altered-color Gengar was determined to rid itself of its past shadows.

Face the future head-on!

”...”

It quietly examined the Pokémon appearing before it, trying to find its way of surviving in this new environment; these guys looked all stronger than the last, surely not easy to get along with.

”Grrrr!”

What fierce Pokémon!

The sudden charge of the Hydreigon startled the Altered-color Gengar, instinctively it wanted to emerge from the shadow and counterattack but halted its action upon seeing the translucent body of Dragapult.

It remembered clearly how last time, despite having undergone Super Evolution, it was no match against this fellow.

The opponent merely flicked its tail, and it was taken down.

Better let it go.

Fortunately.

Just as the Altered-color Gengar stopped its defensive actions, the Hydreigon was also intercepted by the nearby Aggron.

It breathed a sigh of relief, its gaze inevitably shifted.

It remembered that the Aggron under Jarvis’s command had slightly longer horns than this one before it, but comparing their sturdiness was not possible, and the latter was obviously much larger overall, with a shinier metallic shell...

Ah!

Ahhh!

The body of the Altered-color Gengar trembled violently.

No doubt, it witnessed the Giant Steelix beside Aggron, the shadow it cast by leaning down resembled a small mountain.

Companion of the legion?

Comparing itself with this was like comparing a cub to an adult!

How could there be such a massive Pokémon... it felt like just its weight could crush it.

The Altered-color Gengar, overwhelmed with anxiety, didn’t even notice the Mawile on the Steelix’s head, instead quickly directing its gaze to the Blissey nearby, gradually calming its emotions.

Compared to the ferocious previous Pokémon, the smiling and benevolent Blissey seemed like an angel.

Its mood gradually stabilized.

Then curiosity about what Blissey was holding arose in it, such a big... basin?

The gaze of the Altered-color Gengar shifted again, quickly passing over Porygon II and Corsola, partially because these two small ones had little presence.

On the other hand.

Its attention was caught by the Altered-color Milotic.

How beautiful!

The Altered-color Gengar inexplicably felt its face getting warm, though it had never much cared for other Pokémon before, why... ah... really so beautiful.

For a moment, its eyes were dazed.

When the Altered-color Gengar shook its head frantically and emerged from that state, looking again at the Altered-color Milotic playing with the Dreepy, it was filled with dread.

Terrifying!

Even more terrifying than Steelix!

It almost lost sight of its goal, coming there for power!

The Altered-color Gengar, shocked, had already listed Altered-color Milotic as the top threat it needed to be wary of. If Giant Steelix left an impression on it as one to stay away from, then the former was one it shouldn’t look at a second time due to terror!

What was up with this ”legion”?

Could it truly gain new strength here? Was that person really, as the green-haired human said, going to treat it well?

The Altered-color Gengar was uncertain.

Then.

It saw the familiar yet unfamiliar person arrive not far away, crouching down and extending their hand.

”Come out, there are no enemies here for you. Let’s get to know each other, new little partner.”

No enemies for me?

Partner?

For a moment, the Altered-color Gengar was stunned. It had hardly ever come into contact with humans other than Jarvis, and the green-haired human could communicate with them without using human language.

This prevented it from fully comprehending the meaning in Baimu’s words.

But at least the kindness within the smile the other wore at that moment didn’t seem fake.

”Geng...”

The Altered-color Gengar slowly poked its head out, looking at the hand extended toward it.

It hesitated for a moment.
