Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 908: Chapter 570: Gluttony_2

It put its slightly short ghost claw inside.

Honestly.

The altered-color Gengar also didn’t know if what it was doing was right. Despite living in human society for so long, it knew far too little about human affairs.

”Thank you.”

Baimu held the ghost claw, looking at the gray chubby monster that was about waist-high, the smile on his face became fervent, ”From today on, we’re teammates. Let’s take care of each other in the future.”

The Pokémon he recently captured mostly didn’t cooperate, making him almost forget what a willing Pokémon looked like.

Is the problematic children’s amusement park finally going to welcome a normal Pokémon?

That’s wonderful!

He waved to the back, ”Blissey! Bring that over!”

”happy~”

Blissey brought the big basin forward.

In the bewildered expression of the altered-color Gengar, the food stuffed in the big basin was completely exposed, the enticing aroma rushing straight to its mind.

”Gen? Gen?”

It looked at the big basin in shock, its mouth unconsciously drooling.

Baimu wobbled the altered-color Gengar’s claw, then released it, saying, ”You must be hungry, right? These are tonight’s welcome gifts. No need to be shy, dig in!”

”Gen?”

It pointed to itself, incredulous.

”That’s right, it’s all yours. Feel free to eat, if it’s not enough—” Baimu’s smile suddenly froze.

Because the altered-color Gengar directly picked up the basin, opened its mouth to its widest extent, and swallowed the whole basin completely, like a black hole.

Then.

It reached out and pulled the basin, which was so clean it seemed like it had never held food, back out from its closed mouth.

Pop~

The crisp sound of air separation was quite peculiar.

”Gen Gen!”

The altered-color Gengar raised the basin, its face filled with satisfaction, and giggled endlessly, ”Keh heh heh heh heh—”

Mid laugh.

It suddenly remembered the presence of Baimu and other Pokémon around, its joyous smile instantly restrained, looking around with slight apprehension.

Welcoming it was Baimu’s applauding and the various exclamations of the other Pokémon.

”Amazing! I thought the eating speed of Corsola was fast, but compared to you, it’s a child’s play!”

”Roar!”

”happy~”

”Sip sip~”

”Hoo~”

This statement received unanimous agreement.

Well.

Not quite unanimous.

The Galarian Corsola on Porygon II’s back woke with a start upon hearing this, its eyes lighting up like blazing flames.

”Sip!”

Working might not be its thing, but eating surely is unmatched! How dare a newcomer shake the first place as the food king under the leader of the Rainbow Team? Time to—

Forget it.

Too troublesome.

The fire of fighting spirit in Corsola’s eyes quickly dissipated, leaving the altered-color Gengar looking puzzled.

”Hahaha, don’t bother with this one, it’s very lazy.”

Baimu laughed and patted its head, pointing to the other Pokémon, ”Let me introduce the members of the team, first the ace—Aggron!”

”Roar.”

Aggron greeted the altered-color Gengar with a peaceful look and a low growl.

”This is Hydreigon, don’t be deceived by its fierce appearance, it’s actually a simple-minded fool. Big in size and young in age, if it offends you in any way, be forgiving.”

”Sip sip!”

Hydreigon, originally displeased upon hearing Aggron was the ace, grinned broadly.

Its sentence is long!

Victory!

”This is...”

With Baimu’s gentle and slow introduction, the altered-color Gengar only half-understood the dialogue but remembered them by heart.

From its own reckless act of devouring the food at once yet not receiving any reprimand, instead being praised for its bold eating style, it realized it hadn’t come to the wrong place.

This person before it.

These Pokémon before it.

They surely could be the boost it needs to grow stronger!

By following them, it definitely wouldn’t experience those past encounters again!

”Keh heh heh heh—”

The altered-color Gengar grinned to the ears, its silvery white teeth paired with its eyes squinting into slits, looking especially cute.

——

Midnight.

Returning from the eco-park.

The welcome party for Altered-color Gengar turned into a late-night feast.

Its appetite matched its stature, even surpassing the massive appetite of the largest Giant Steelix, a bowl after another stuffed into its mouth, scaring Baimu into stopping just so it wouldn’t eat anymore.

Hydreigon was quite shocked by this.

Its three mouths couldn’t compete with this guy’s one mouth!

Corsola completely admitted defeat, feeling ashamed of its earlier ambition to compete with Altered-color Gengar for the title of big eater. This was simply not the heavyweight opponent it could contend with!

Indeed.

Laziness truly is the truth of the world.

Altered-color Gengar, of course, didn’t realize it had crushed the newly risen ambition of a lazybones.

It only knew that tonight was the most wonderful night it had ever experienced.

So the Altered-color Gengar in the Pokeball slept exceptionally sweetly.

”Geng... Geng...”

On the other hand.

Although Baimu wanted it to come out and sleep with the other Pokémon, being in a constantly changing environment, the Pokeball provided Pokémon with the most peace of mind.

In other words.

Baimu’s earlier gesture of preparing a separate room for Mawile wasn’t quite right either.

”I didn’t expect it to go so smoothly.”

He looked at the Pokeball in his hand, genuinely surprised.

The personality of Altered-color Gengar was entirely different from the socially anxious Dragapult and the lazybones Corsola. It was a very lively and active character.

It could even quickly get along with Hydreigon, but for some reason, it always avoided the Altered-color Milotic.

Love at first sight that’s hard to face?

Hard to say.

Further observation will reveal the answer.

Baimu set down the Pokeball, flipping through the data on Altered-color Gengar on his phone.

[Pokémon: Gengar]

[Attribute: Ghost + Poison]

[Gender: Male]

[Height: 154cm/41.3kg]

[Trait: Cursed Body]

[Level: 60]

[Techniques: Hypnosis Techniques/Tongue Lick/Black Gaze/Curse/Rush]

[Mysterious Light/Shadow Punch/Shadow Ball/Dream Eater/Evil Fluctuation]

[Shared Fate/Nightmare/Mud Bomb/Strong Mental Will/Song of Destruction]

”Levitate... It was changed to a trait in the Seventh Generation, but logically, Gengar in pre-Seventh Generation regions should have had the Levitate trait.”

He sighed.

As a result of GF irresponsibly changing Pokémon traits at will, all Gengars in his world belonged to the Cursed Body trait. Flying was just its special ability as a Ghost-type Pokémon.

According to his original thought, it should have adapted to regional forms...

But the Gengar Ash Ketchum captured during the journey was in Kanto, yet it also had the Cursed Body trait, making the situation difficult to explain.

Forget it.

No need to overthink.

Being able to fly is already advantageous.

Baimu understood the only difference between flying methods and the Levitate trait was whether it could shield against Ground Attribute energy.

Ground Attribute attacks are typically released from the ground. As long as it reacted in time and flew high, Altered-color Gengar’s flying methods could rival the Levitate trait...

Of course, this was under the most ideal conditions.

The level of Altered-color Gengar was neither too high nor too low, making it easier to sync up with than Dragapult. Super Evolution required more time to nurture their bond, and it wasn’t likely to be achievable in a short period.

For a long while, he wouldn’t have time to juggle so many things.

The grand celebration competition was about to begin!

Baimu put down his phone, took several deep breaths, and used the simulator’s memory browsing to ease into slumber.

His recent favorite memories were two—

Meditation of the Superpower User and Poker Cheating Techniques of the Gambler.

The former was a no-brainer. Even meditating in dreams could quickly restore his body’s fatigue and even further enhance physical fitness.

Quite magical.

As for the latter... The techniques themselves weren’t the main focus, what captivated Baimu was the dexterity and speed training of the fingers, along with the skill to divert the opponent’s attention.

Especially the skill to divert attention; if applied to a battle, it could potentially create many winning opportunities.

After the Ever Grande Conference, he’ll return to Ore to compete for the Champion title.

Every increase in strength counts.

Silence reigned for the night.

Both humans and Pokémon slept exceedingly peacefully until the sun gradually rose outside.

”Time to set off!”

Baimu suddenly opened his eyes.
