Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 886: Chapter 559: Battle with the Fire Celestial King (Part 2)

”You sharp-tongued!”

Fladari raised his hand, and the mechanical tendrils on his back immediately shot an eerie red light at the two Zygarde Cores cradled in his arms.

Baimu rolled away to evade, tossing Z2 to the dog-shaped Z1, shouting as he opened the Pokeball, ”Don’t let that red light sweep over you, it can control your mind! Use that dead weight as a shield!”

Boom!

White light flashed.

Lairon landed.

”Roar!”

Z1 glanced at Baimu and Lairon, then, carrying Z2, responded and dashed towards Kuselloski.

Though it preferred using the ventilation duct to escape like last time, since this human insisted, it would believe him this time.

Believe him like Youx Lijia believed in him.

”It’s pointless!”

Fladari shouted, as the mechanical tendrils on his back aimed at the large Lairon, sending energetic pulses mixed with a peculiar power into its body.

”Groan...”

Lairon stepped back slightly, showing a pained expression.

Baimu tugged at the Key Stone hanging from his neck, looked across at Fladari, and murmured, ”What Ash Ketchum and Greninja could accomplish, we have no reason not to!”

”Come on, Lairon!”

He shouted, and the Lairon before him immediately let out a muffled roar, the pain on its face vanishing.

Replacing it was a determined look identical to Baimu’s behind it.

Our minds are one! Shared joys and sorrows!

Evolution beyond evolution—

”Super Evolution!”

Baimu’s voice was like the drums sounding the start of warfare, instantly igniting the fire in Lairon’s heart.

In an instant.

The red light emitted by Fladari was dispelled by more dazzling colorful light, and the astonishing mutation outside Lairon was completed in a short time.

”Roar—!!”

The silver Land Fortress roared at Fladari, whose face was full of disbelief!

But after the roar.

Mega Lairon and Baimu inadvertently felt some fatigue—mental fatigue, breaking free from the mind control system was more strenuous than imagined.

”Mind control system failure...”

The lion-headed figure could not believe that his mind control system, tested repeatedly and even resisted by Zygarde, was defeated by a mere Super Evolution.

”Bang!”

A painful cry sounded in his ears again.

Fladari turned his head to see that his Mienshao had been knocked unconscious by the evasive and seemingly terrified Dragapult.

”How dare you... How dare you...”

He took out a Pokeball, seeming to forget that this was his crucial laboratory, intending to send out powerful Pokémon to duel with Mega Lairon.

”Fladari!”

A call from behind interrupted the nearly deranged Fladari.

A city girl with peach-pink hair walked over, held his shoulder and shook her head, ”It’s already a done deal, outside is in utter defeat, too many have been captured.

”Even if you win, it won’t matter, take the Legendary Giant Stone and leave, there are many Pokémon in the world that can be utilized.”

”...”

Fladari turned his head to gaze at the old friend who had supported him for many years, his anger gradually dissipating, and nodded silently, ”I’ll leave here to you, Pachira.”

”As you wish.”

One of the Carlos Four Celestial Kings, Fire Celestial King Pachira, smiled and nodded.

And at the same time Fladari left, Baimu, who had finally regained his strength, issued a command.

”Night Shadow Demon!”

A grim ghostly shadow emerged from the pale round stone that had rolled to their feet and rushed towards Pachira and Fladari.

However, just as it was about to fly, two strange mechanical insects suddenly rushed out from the corner and blocked before the two, forming a barrier that firmly blocked the ghostly shadow released by Corsola.

”You really like sneaking attacks, kiddo, it’s not a good habit, you know.”

Pachira looked at Baimu in the lab through her orange-red sunglasses; just as she was about to kick back that round stone, unexpectedly the latter rolled away.

”Huh?”

She let out a light exclamation, but her hand movements didn’t stop, taking out a Pokeball to open.

”Awoo—”

The devilish hellhound—Houndoom dropped into the lab, looking at the much larger Mega Lairon with no fear, only excitement and ferocity.

”Super Evolution.”

Pachira gently touched the pendant on her chest, and the colorful light of Super Evolution instantly covered Houndoom.

The next second.

A burst of earth-yellow light came!

”Ten Thousand Horsepower!”

Baimu picked up the returning Corsola, then embraced Dragapult dragging Mienshao, issuing the command.

Just as Houndoom’s Super Evolution was halfway, Mega Lairon, turning into an earth-yellow comet, crashed into it, embedding it in the wall!

Boom—!!

A fireball exploded, wall fragments and remnants of research equipment flew everywhere, and many researchers nearby were directly blown away, causing the entire underground laboratory to shake crazily!

Pachira at the door stared blankly at the scene.

Is this...

The style of the international police?

As one of the leading journalists and Celestial Kings in the Carlos Region, she had dealt with the international police quite a bit and knew they were the most rule-abiding, upright, and concerned with human rights.

Even criminals, they would not harm unless necessary.

But the violent Mega Lairon and Baimu who disregarded the environment differed completely from her expectations of the international police!

These research devices are evidence!

The researchers are witnesses!

Acting recklessly like this... is it really okay?

At this moment.

Pachira couldn’t help but wonder who truly wished for humanity to become pure, was it Fladari, who had only reached the theoretical stage here, or the unreasonable young man in front of her.

”Lady, dawdle any longer and your boss will be caught.”

Baimu spoke up sarcastically, and Mega Lairon also withdrew from the wall where it had been embedded, revealing the successfully Mega Evolved but scarred Mega Houndoom.

The strength of a Celestial King is indeed formidable; another Trainer’s Pokémon would likely not withstand the recent Ten Thousand Horsepower.

In this rule-breaking wild battle, the factors affecting strength are numerous, even a Celestial King, if ambushed or otherwise, would struggle to turn the tables.

Unless they are the type who frequently roam the world and cleverly contend with poachers.

That kind of ”combat” experience is particularly strong.

Pachira, who mixed as a journalist within Carlos’ high society, was clearly not among them.

”Surrender.”

Baimu glanced at several injured researchers nearby, honestly not wanting to destroy the lab like this, and looked at Pachira saying, ”As you said, it’s already a done deal, Fladari can’t escape with the Legendary Giant Stone.”

The Legendary Giant Stone is under the watch of Xijana and Da Wu, Fladari’s nerve connection device, no matter how strong, cannot oppose those two.

”Hmph, that’s debatable.”

Pachira crossed her arms, seemingly realizing Baimu didn’t intend to attack further, her tense muscles gradually relaxing.

She patted her Mega Houndoom’s head, smiled, ”I advise you not to underestimate Fladari, although your raid was successful, that man won’t give up just like that.”

”No matter if he gives up or not, we’ll find out once he’s caught.”

Baimu glanced at the time, throwing a pair of handcuffs to her, ”Don’t make me do it, cooperate a bit, it’ll be easier for both of us.”

Compared to the especially stubborn Fladari, Pachira, who admired him, was more ambivalent.

She might have realized Fladari’s plan was merely a product of madness; thus, in both the game and anime, she chose to assist the ”protagonist.”

In the manga, she was utterly devoted, yet ended in obscurity, carried away by Karonai.

In Baimu’s animated world.

Pachira, after witnessing Ailan and Ash’s battle, began to rethink humanity’s potential once more, thus choosing to turn against Fladari when he planned to destroy Lumiose City.

After the incident, she even turned herself in to Miss Jun Sha.

With Baimu’s humorous intervention, who knows if she will find that inspiration again.
