Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 884: Chapter 558: One Man, One Dog_2

”...Alright~ Since Hoopa is so important!”

Hoopa nodded contentedly but secretly sneered.

It wouldn’t say that Baimu told it earlier that if it captured the boss named Fladari, it would get a year’s supply of donuts.

What? Joking?

There’s no joke here with Hoopa!

It cupped its face in its hands, wondering how things were going on Baimu’s side.

——

Ten minutes earlier.

After successfully acquiring a series of secret files.

Hoopa began transporting various action team members to important facilities like Lysandre Labs’ network center, hangar, and power station.

And Baimu, who had been waiting for a long time, teamed up with Z1, transformed into its 10% Doberman form, to raid the underground research lab.

Targeting directly at Z2!

To be safe, he didn’t let Hoopa transport him directly into the lab.

Because Hoopa’s rings have a delay and are not like Instant Movement that gets you to the place immediately. If the Flashing Flame Team saw the ring preparing to attack and rushed in, it would undoubtedly become a target.

So he asked Hoopa to transport other people first and then open the ring at the corner of the warehouse closest to the research lab.

”I’ll be right back, don’t worry about it.”

Baimu waved to Ash Ketchum and the others, stroked Youx Lijia’s head, and reassured her worried gaze, saying, ”Don’t worry, I’ll bring Squishy back safely, along with its companions.”

”Really?”

”Why would I lie to you?”

”Then I believe in big brother!”

Youx Lijia finally had a smile return to her face.

”Xiaobai! It’s your turn!” Hoopa flew in from afar, excitedly despite opening many rings in a short period.

Baimu saw this and smiled, ”Thanks for your hard work, Hoopa. You’re awesome.”

”Of course Hoopa is awesome!”

Hoopa proudly asked, ”Didn’t Xiaobai say last time that if Hoopa managed to capture Fladari, there’d be a lot of donuts for Hoopa?”

”Huh? I was just joking when I was full! Don’t be silly!”

Baimu was taken aback, hurriedly waving his hand, ”That person has an item to control Legendary Pokémon, don’t be rash!”

He stepped into Hoopa’s opened ring, his foot halfway out, still calling back, ”Don’t go! Mei Yali, keep Hoopa from going! Fladari is very dangerous!”

Fladari possesses an item called the Nervous System Equipment, developed from Super Evolution Energy, which allows him to freely control the blackened Zygarde and the Legendary Giant Stone, which has no intelligence but instinctively pursues energy.

Even Ash Ketchum and Greninja almost got controlled by it.

Fortunately, the Bond Evolution was powerful enough to blast away those two red rays of light.

Hoopa’s liberated form is indeed formidable, but the existence of the Nervous System Equipment causes Baimu to hesitate in letting it appear before Fladari.

Hoopa plays a crucial support and logistics role in this rush attack. If it gets controlled, it would be a disaster.

To capture Fladari, they must first suppress all of his research lab’s black technology. The Nervous System Equipment surely has a system master switch somewhere.

Anyway, with Hoopa around, Fladari can’t escape anywhere.

”Owww!”

Z1 pulled Baimu’s pant leg urgingly, so he stepped into the Golden Ring.

The world turned dark.

He found himself in a pitch-black warehouse.

However.

Before Baimu could speak to Z1 about anything, the warehouse door suddenly opened. A person dressed like a researcher carrying a box met eyes with him.

”You—”

Pop! Sizzle!

”Ugh!” The researcher fell down with paralysis, and Baimu quickly held onto the box in his arms.

Before coming, Liu Ge equipped him with an Electric Shock Gun, standard for international police. Although it’s not a large-scale weapon, unless the target has monster-like resilience, typically a human goes down with one shot.

”Lower your body a bit, sneak a look outside to see if anyone’s there.”

Baimu carefully put down the box, took out a map of the lab’s facilities, confirmed his current location, and signaled Z1.

Z1 wasn’t sure why he was doing this when they could just rush straight in, but eventually understood that this mission was led by Baimu, and obediently took a look outside.

No one.

”Woo.”

”Alright, we’re ready to rush in, remember not to worry about your companion. Bite those who try anything, don’t let them touch any device.

”Even if your companion is being affected by some power, remember to stay calm. I’ll deal with any possible Flashing Flame Team Member.”

Baimu held the Electric Shock Gun in one hand and a cell phone in the other, speaking in a low voice.

”Owww!”

Z1 responded in a low whisper.

He took a deep breath, ”I’ll count to three: three, two, one...”

”Go!”

One man, one dog rushed out of the warehouse towards the research room where Z2 was located.

Bang!

Baimu kicked open the research room door, holding up the Electric Shock Gun, aimed at all the busy researchers, shouting, ”Put your hands up! Don’t move!”

The sudden change left a crowd of researchers stunned, looking at him in blank confusion.

Thankfully, there were seemingly no security personnel here.

”Owww!”

Z1 rushed forward uninhibited, desperately searching for its companion, using telepathy to shout, ”Where are you! Answer me!”

This guy! Not hearing a word, right?

Baimu felt a vein throbbing on his forehead, this was completely non-cooperative!

He quickly shot two Electric Shock bullets at two sneaky researchers, knocked them down while shouting and commanding Porygon II to infiltrate this place’s systems.

”Where did you come from, little ghost?”

A peculiar tone echoed from not far away.

Turning, he saw a red-haired, fat man in a white coat standing at a distance, looking at him strangely.

Kuselloski!

Baimu immediately fired two shots at him, but the Electric Shock bullets bounced off when they hit him.

”Electric Shock bullets? Boring things.”

Kuselloski looked down at the bullet heads on the ground, slightly opening his white coat and flaming uniform, revealing a strangely colored inner lining, ”Do you know what this is?”

E Combat Suit?

Did he also make this in the animation?

Baimu didn’t answer. In the game, Kuselloski designed a reinforced outfit named E Combat Suit, which gave a frail little girl mobility comparable to high-speed Pokémon and defensive capability akin to high-defense Pokémon.

It was quite a remarkable thing.

The animation hadn’t mentioned it, he thought Kuselloski hadn’t invented it.

”Thinking back, you probably don’t know, do you?”

Kuselloski’s tone remained oddly strange, as peculiar as his appearance, ”Those who don’t understand, don’t have the existence value. Take action, Malamar.”

Above Baimu’s head.

”Ma~”

A large, chilling Malamar dropped, emitting bizarre flashes, releasing waves that seemed capable of putting people to sleep.

But what greeted this creature was the eerie glow on Baimu’s shoulder that was even stranger.

Despite launching an attack first, Malamar ended up being confused by the eerie glow, aiming its abdomen’s pattern at the surrounding researchers, putting them into a deep sleep.

Even Kuselloski, who had been calm in the beginning, had his face turn pale.

”Malamar!”

”Stop shouting, it’s confused, and you’re no longer safe.” Baimu pointed at him, ”Look behind you?”

”What?”

Kuselloski turned his head, and two Dreepy screamed as they crashed into his face.

Bang! Bang!

Two heavy thuds, and the red-haired fat man dropped without a word.

”How could... this happen.”

”Because you’re stupid; who wears a combat suit without a helmet?”

Baimu clicked his tongue, then pointed at the spinning Malamar, ”Stop it from spinning, finish it off.”

Both Corsola and Dragapult moved simultaneously.

Two Shadow Balls struck its body.

Bam bam!

Two clouds of smoke burst open.

Malamar fell unconscious.

Baimu scanned around but found that all the researchers had been hypnotized by Malamar without exception, feeling helplessly grateful, ”Is luck finally on our side?”

He ran in the direction where Z1 left, soon seeing Z1 gritting its teeth and appearing furious, along with Z2 looking nearly lifeless on the wall.

”Humans... will never be forgiven...”

Z2 murmured in a low tone.
