Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 880: Chapter 556: Sign of Annihilation_2

It’s unmistakably the world of Pokémon animation—

’Want to know the secret of me becoming a Champion?’

’Go traveling!’

’All the answers are out there!’

Baimu had already thought about how he would promote... no, extol the benefits of traveling in the future, encouraging the Ore People to go out and explore.

”Are those people still quiet?”

He turned his head to ask the air.

”Waddles~”

Dragapult gave an affirmative answer, then two Dreepy appeared out of nowhere, stacking on top of his head like a Jenga tower.

”Hee-yah~”

”Mhee-yah~”

Trainers couldn’t launch them, but surprisingly, they felt comfortable perched on top of his head.

It’s the second most livable place besides Dragapult’s launcher hole.

Unfortunately, they were not usually allowed to perch there, claiming that having something on your head all the time could give you a stiff neck, and only when he was in a good mood would he reluctantly agree.

”You two.”

Baimu raised his hand, thought about it, and decided not to pull the two lizards down.

Not long after.

The sun completely sank below the mountains, and the stars replaced its glow, while the neon lights of the Azoth Kingdom illuminated the airspace ahead of the airship.

Landing field.

Many people had been waiting there for a long time.

A few guards dressed up as escorts took Jarvis and the other three away, while a mushroom-headed girl wearing glasses approached Ji Meiya.

”Flamel! Thank you for your hard work!”

Ji Meiya said with a smile.

”It’s all part of my job.” Flamel bowed her head in salute and then looked at Baimu and Ash Ketchum, ”Ladies and gentlemen, His Majesty the King invites you to dinner together.”

Everyone exchanged glances; they had already eaten dinner. Would they accept the invitation?

Ji Meiya raised her hand and said, ”Everyone has already had dinner, and they are also very tired. Prepare their rooms first. I will explain to Father.”

”Understood.”

Flamel bowed again.

Rakael, who was joking just now, had a serious expression, anxiously asking Flamel, ”Did Father mention me?”

”Yes, His Majesty the King hopes you will wait for him in his study.”

”...Alright.”

Rakael’s tone was shaky, his eyes wandering, clearly very nervous.

It’s like hearing a parent say ”I’ll deal with you when you get home.” Some parents like to scold their children in front of others, while some prefer to do it privately.

The King of the Azoth Kingdom was probably the latter.

”It’s okay, Father will understand.” Ji Meiya’s comfort didn’t have much effect.

Baimu seemed to find it amusing.

This little ghost may have suddenly become enlightened, but he still needed to face some necessary punishment. Imprisonment would probably be too much, but a beating to relieve the anger seemed acceptable.

The travel plan would have to be postponed for a few days, young man.

With the arrangement of Princess’s secretary Flamel, Baimu and others spent a night in the palace, which honestly wasn’t much better than a five-star hotel, just with a bit more royal grandeur and historical charm.

From the setup and staffing of the palace, it was indeed as Jarvis said, that the Azoth Kingdom had declined.

In the large palace, there were less than twenty servants and guards combined, even if the Azoth Kingdom was just a city, it was still a bit outrageous.

He even took a special tour of the royal prison—

Due to not being used for a long time, all the facilities were like antiques, the metal bars could have been easily broken.

It’s a good thing Jarvis was restrained by his own invention, the Hunting Bracelet, otherwise, wouldn’t escaping be a matter of seconds?

Anyway.

Whether or not Jarvis was angry enough to die after being trapped by his own invention was another topic altogether.

The wonderful night passed.

Next morning.

Under Flamel’s guidance, everyone met with the current king of the Azoth Kingdom.

A burly man with blond hair and sideburns.

With a physique that filled out his clothes and displayed his muscles, it was hard to imagine that the frail Rakael was his son, were it not for the identical hooked nose and eyes.

”Hahahaha! Thank you all for eliminating those villains for our kingdom!”

The King laughed heartily, patting everyone’s shoulder with a large hand, completely lacking the airs of a king.

”You’re too kind...”

Baimu tugged at the corners of his mouth.

He could generally imagine why Rakael, a ten-year-old child, would be enchanted by Jarvis, determined to revive the Azoth Kingdom with his own hands.

Because clearly, the man in front of them had no interest in the revival!

In a league system, an independent kingdom’s autonomy might not be as glorious as imagined.

”I heard you’re an international police officer?”

The King asked him.

”No, I’m just a member of an organization that cooperates with the international police, from the Ore Region.” Baimu had no intention of hiding his identity.

Unexpectedly, upon hearing ”Ore,” the King’s eyes lit up and he said, ”Oh! Is it the organization that overthrew the oppressor of Ore, rescuing the people?”

”You know about us?”

”Of course, maybe on the general level, not many know about you. But on a higher level, your name is known far and wide!”

The King said this while Ash Ketchum and others looked puzzled, ”I am looking forward to your future! If you need help, don’t hesitate to ask!”

What does that mean? An investment?

”Ahahaha, I will.” Baimu laughed it off.

He didn’t have the authority to make such decisions; coordination with the outside world was handled by Shanren and even the people from Silicon City, what does that have to do with him as the leader of the Rainbow Team?

Soon after.

The King invited everyone to join him for a morning banquet.

And after a sumptuous morning feast, everyone started to say their goodbyes.

The situation with the Flashing Flame Team was urgent, and since the internation police had agreed to take over Jarvis and the other two, Baimu thought it was time to go and prepare.

Amusingly.

Ash Ketchum and the others initially said goodbye reluctantly at the fork in the road, it was only after his reminder that they realized they had forgotten something, or rather Z1 had.

A bit embarrassing, perhaps.

But besides that, Ash Ketchum and the others were equally worried.

”Will the operation be dangerous for Squishy?” Youx Lijia looked at Baimu eagerly, she already had a certain answer in her heart.

But kids always like to get to the bottom of things.

”Danger is relative, as long as the plan is thorough enough, and the action swift enough, we can rescue Squishy’s friend under the safest conditions possible.”

Baimu gently patted her on the head, ”You have to trust Squishy, as Zygarde, the guardian of the natural order, it has the power to change everything!”

In the Magearna movie, there was actually a highlight moment for Z1.

As a single core transformed into its final Gundam form, it fired Dragon’s Pulse to assist the Pokémon of Nibel Plateau in blocking a cannon, but unfortunately, the scenes got stolen, so Z1’s highlight was naturally gone.

However, it seemed Z1 doesn’t need those highlight moments.

”Is there anything we can do?”

Ash Ketchum really wanted to contribute, he even called out Greninja, ”My strength with Pikachu and Greninja will not lose to anyone!”

”So we need you to bolster our strength.”

Baimu patted him on the shoulder with heartfelt words, ”If something unexpected happens and we’re trapped or helpless, that’s when you need to make your move, ace, you understand?”

Liu Ge certainly didn’t want Ash Ketchum involved, just as he didn’t want the underage Baimu to get involved in their business.

But Ash Ketchum was drawn to action no matter how much you tried to stop him.

Plus, with his natural aura of justice’s inevitable victory, it’s necessary to have him as the standby powerhouse.

In case Fladari had some strange last resort, letting Ash Ketchum go and shout could be a fully correct method.

On the other hand.

”Hitron, maybe there’s something you can help with.”

Baimu asked with a smile, ”Do you understand the network?”

Hitron looked perplexed: ”...Huh?”

——

Lysandre Labs.

In the hall.

Fladari sat on the sofa, silently sipping red wine.

Suddenly.

A man in a red suit came to his side, whispered something to his ear.

Fladari set the wine glass down and slowly stood up, his height exceeding two meters allowed him to look down on the man, ”I understand, you may leave.”

”Yes.”

The man bowed his head and left.

Leaving only Fladari staring silently out a large floor-to-ceiling window at Ailan walking down the street.

”...”
