Pokemon: My Trainer Simulator

Chapter 883: Chapter 558: One Man and One Dog

Lysandre Labs.

The representative’s office without any lighting.

Lysandre sat with his legs crossed, half of his face hidden in darkness, the remaining half obscured by the external light, calmly listening to the report from his subordinate in front.

”...According to reliable intelligence, this group boarded the ship under the guise of the Rescue Organization from the Ore Region and arrived in Carlos last month. The leader has been frequently interacting with Carlos’s upper society, secretly inquiring about our information.”

”Ore...”

The tall lion head slightly narrowed his eyes, ”What is their purpose?”

”...Our organizational structure, partner enterprises, as well as your reputation and daily habits, etc.”

”...”

Lysandre remained silent, only speaking a long time later, ”Keep monitoring them, and send a letter thanking Count Madra for his information assistance on my behalf.”

”Understood.”

The subordinate of the Flashing Flame Team bowed respectfully, preparing to withdraw, when someone suddenly entered from outside the door.

”Representative! Someone has infiltrated our internal network! They’ve downloaded a large amount of data!” The man was also a member of the Flashing Flame Team, dressed in a red suit.

Lysandre frowned upon hearing this, ”What about the fake data files?”

”They have a technical expert! All were recognized!”

The man’s tone was panic-stricken because there was a lot in the internal network that should never be seen, at least until their plans succeeded.

Lysandre said in a deep voice, ”Calm down! Since that’s the case, then advance—”

Clank!

The numerous large lights outside the window suddenly went out, plunging the entire research lab into darkness.

”The lights are out!”

”Danger! Representative! Follow me quickly to the shelter!”

Two subordinates of the Flashing Flame Team each shouted in panic, one of them hurriedly reaching out to protect Lysandre, but was grabbed by the latter.

At this moment.

The external lighting returned, but not from the original large lights, rather a series of emergency backup lights.

”Who are you?”

Lysandre looked down at the person whose arm he had grabbed, his expression devoid of any panic.

”Representative? You don’t understand what you’re saying...”

Crackling boom—

Electric light flickered between them, that person quickly withdrew his hand, seeing Lysandre’s unmoving posture, smacked his lips in disbelief.

”What a monster this is!”

He retreated rapidly to the floor-to-ceiling window, and somehow the window exploded open, ”Representative, thank you for your care these days!”

Flop faced Lysandre, casually saluting, and his body fell backward as if committing suicide.

As he fell.

He spoke into the communicator on his wrist, ”Tactical failure! This guy’s physique is simply not human! The electric shock gun had no effect at all!”

”Stop!”

The other subordinate of the Flashing Flame Team realized and chased forward, only to be stopped by Lysandre.

”Don’t chase, use the internal phone to direct the others to take action directly.”

The lion head looked at the offline computer on the office desk, his gaze shifting from obscurity to madness; cutting off the power and network at the first instant so decisively, these people were definitely ”regular troops.”

Since that’s the case, it’s unnecessary to hide anymore.

”Yes!”

The subordinate of the Flashing Flame Team quickly turned and ran away.

Fortunately, the Flashing Flame Team had predicted external invasion plans, with the power supply and network for important underground facilities independently existing, even Pokeballs being a special type not controlled by the Pokeball management system.

Careful planning becomes the foundation for achieving great deeds.

Boom!

A distant explosion was heard.

Lysandre remained composed, sat down in the office chair, pressed a button, and a strange backpack was embedded on his back, with beetle-like armor buckling around his forearm.

Soon a passage appeared beneath him, allowing him to descend quickly while seated in the wide chair.

And just a second before his entire person descended with the chair, a Golden Ring opened at his original position.

”Huh? Can’t summon?”

A small hand reached out from the ring, touching here and there, then a strange head peeked out, locked eyes with Lysandre below, and called out loudly, cheeks puffing.

”Ah! How can you move recklessly! Be obedient to Hoopa!”

The ring above closed, and another ring opened beneath Lysandre’s seat, waiting for him to come down himself.

”Is this the ability of such a Pokémon...Hoopa?”

Lysandre raised his hand, and the backpack on his back extended a mechanical arm with a glowing blue tip, aiming a red beam below.

Zzzz—

”Ah!”

An incredulous scream came from the other side of the ring, quickly forced to close.

Lysandre snorted lightly, his eyes filled with joy as he watched the retracting mechanical arm, ”Super Evolution Energy is indeed exceptional!”

Meanwhile, Hoopa.

Furious at failing twice to capture someone, it was enraged, its face flushed with anger.

”Hoopa! Never encountered such humiliation!”

It looked to Balza beside it, exclaiming, ”Balza! Release all of Hoopa’s power! Hoopa wants to fight to the end with this guy!”

”No!”

Before Balza could speak, Mei Yali rejected firmly, looking at it seriously, ”Didn’t Baimu say they have a peculiar device capable of controlling Pokémon’s minds? Wasn’t that red light just now it?”

”If you regain your strength but get controlled by them, you can’t imagine how much trouble it will attract. What you should do most is transport the captured enemies out!”

Hoopa felt wronged, ”Mei Yali...”

”Exactly, you’ve done enough, everyone was transported by your help.”

Liu Ge, who was directing a group of international police occupying various key positions in Lysandre Labs to capture the enemy one by one using electric shock guns, also spoke, ”Please Hoopa, the logistic work is also very important, we can’t do it without you.”
