RE: LORD OF TIME

ROAR!

A terrifying roar filled with boundless anger exploded in the sky, making the surrounding air tremble violently.

Kalsh, who had just grabbed the Fire Mandawa felt a chill run down his spine, and goosebumps rose all over his body.

He immediately turned his head and saw that the Superior Fire Spirit, which had been fighting against William until now, was staring at him with eyes full of killing intent.

Feeling the overwhelming killing intent coming from the Spirit, Kalsh gulped and without hesitation, immediately turned around to flee.

ROAR!

Seeing someone running away with its treasure, the flames on the Superior Fire Spirit’s body surged, and its aura became increasingly violent.

Without hesitation, it flapped its wings and chased after Kalsh.

However, it had barely flown a few meters when a cold voice echoed beside it.

”Where do you think you are going?”

Bang!

A leg wrapped in Blood Lightning suddenly struck the side of the Fire Spirit’s body, stopping its momentum instantly and sending it flying sideways.

ROAR!

The Fire Spirit was enraged and anxious at the same time as it watched Kalsh’s rapidly retreating figure.

Swish!

It wanted to chase after him, but a sharp sword light shot straight toward the wound William had created on its head earlier.

Sensing danger, the Fire Spirit had no choice but to back away to avoid the attack.

Bang!

The sword light struck the hard black stone of the volcano, cutting it into small pieces and sending them flying in every direction.

The Superior Fire Spirit turned its head to look at the culprit who was preventing it from going after the thief, and a look of hatred appeared on its face.

ROAR!

A loud roar suddenly echoed throughout the sky, reaching every part of the volcano.

William frowned slightly when he saw this, as he couldn’t understand what the Superior Fire Spirit was planning.

However, the next second, he saw all the Minor Fire Spirits and higher-level Fire Spirits rushing in the direction Kalsh had fled.

’It wants to use its minions to catch him.’

William’s eyes narrowed slightly as he watched over a thousand Fire Spirits from every part of the volcano rush after Kalsh.

’Well, I have tried my best. If he can’t escape from these minions, then that’s his problem.’

William had no intention of increasing his own burden by trying to stop the other spirits.

Seeing that its minions were going after the thief, the Superior Fire Spirit shifted its entire attention to William.

Killing intent flashed in its burning eyes, as it wanted nothing more than to kill this bastard who was the main reason behind the theft of its precious treasure.

The dark orange flames burning on the Spirit’s body suddenly extinguished and its aura dropped.

William’s expression changed slightly when he saw this. Although the flames surrounding the Spirit had disappeared, instead of feeling relieved, his instincts were warning him of a fatal danger.

Swish!

At this moment, white flames suddenly surged from the Spirit’s body, and its aura skyrocketed to the next level.

At the same time, the temperature in the area rose to such an extreme degree that, despite the distance of over a hundred meters between him and the Spirit, William still felt a burning sensation all over his skin.

’It wasn’t using all of its strength before...’

William’s face turned grim as he stared at the now completely white Superior Fire Spirit.

Even its eyes were burning with white flames.

William’s gaze met the Fire Spirit’s cold eyes, and an intense sense of danger suddenly arose in his heart.

”Fuck!”

Without hesitation, he used Blink and immediately disappeared from the spot where he had been standing a second earlier.

The moment William disappeared—

Woosh!

A white flame ignited in the air, distorting the surrounding air due to its extreme temperature.

William, who had reappeared five meters away using Blink, looked at the blob of white fire burning in midair a few meters away from him and felt a chill run down his spine.

If he had been a second late, he was sure that some part of his body would have immediately turned to ashes, despite his incredible recovery ability.

A look of surprise flashed through the Fire Spirit’s eyes when it saw William dodge its attack. However, despite its surprise, its attacks didn’t stop.

Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! Woosh! ——

One white fireball after another materialized around the Fire Spirit, making the already high temperature of the surroundings rise even further.

When William saw more than ten white fireballs circling around the Fire Spirit, a sense of danger unlike anything he had felt before engulfed him and without hesitation, he turned around and fled.

He had severely underestimated the power of this Fire Spirit and this thing was definitely strong enough to kill him if he stayed here any longer.

Although he was sure the Superior Fire Spirit couldn’t maintain such power for long, otherwise it would have used it earlier, he had no intention of taking any risks here.

He had already delayed the Spirit for some time, giving Kalsh an opportunity to escape.

If Kalsh couldn’t escape, then it was his own fate. William wasn’t going to risk his life for someone he barely knew.

ROAR!

The Fire Spirit roared in anger when it saw William trying to run away and immediately shot all the fireballs toward him.

William felt the temperature behind him increase dramatically and even without looking back, he already knew that numerous fireballs were coming toward him.

Blood Lightning flashed around his body, and golden ripples spread as he activated Time Acceleration to its full power.

Instantly, William’s speed skyrocketed, and he turned into a blur as his figure shot forward.

BOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM! BOOOOOOM! ——

One fireball after another exploded behind him, shaking the entire volcanic area. One section after another collapsed as black stones fell into the boiling lava, making it churn violently.

Despite flying at his fastest speed, William was still caught in the heat waves, and his skin immediately burned, exposing the bright red flesh beneath.

Fortunately, under the effect of Super Regeneration, his burned skin began to recover. Otherwise, he would have been reduced to a mass of charred flesh.

When William used Time Acceleration at its full power, his Aether Energy began to deplete rapidly. However, his speed reached an astonishing level that even shocked the Superior Fire Spirit.

It wanted to chase after William, but before it could, William’s figure disappeared into the distance.

The Fire Spirit looked at its devastated surroundings.

The mouth of the volcano had collapsed, and the walls were riddled with cracks.

Seeing the ruined condition of its home, the Fire Spirit’s eyes burned with hatred, and it let out another enraged roar.

It turned to look in the direction Kalsh had fled, only to discover that the thief had also disappeared somewhere.

The Fire Spirit remained rooted to the spot, feeling extremely depressed.
