RE: LORD OF TIME

After returning to his room, William did not sleep. He wasn’t actually tired after his breakthrough but instead felt his body full of energy.

The reason he told Victoria he was tired was simply because he wanted to get away to examine the glowing symbol closely at that time.

Sitting on his bed, William didn’t try to cultivate the Time Star Codex, as he still needed to get familiar with his current strength before making further progress in his cultivation.

He felt the surging power of his Star Lord-level physique and closed his eyes.

Previously, he needed to move around and practice to get familiar with the increase in his physical strength.

But now, he did not need to do anything like that.

’The Force Control Technique Professor Norman taught me is really useful...’

While teaching him his sword techniques, Norman also taught him some auxiliary techniques that were helpful in improving his swordsmanship.

One of those techniques was the Force Control Technique.

Once someone mastered this technique, they could control their strength to perfection.

This technique was very important in order to learn Norman’s sword techniques, as all of his sword techniques were unpredictable.

Without being able to control the strength of your body perfectly, it was impossible to change the power of a sword strike again and again during battle to catch the enemy off guard.

Before his breakthrough, William had already mastered the Force Control Technique to perfection.

Although it was a very difficult technique that required one to control every part of their body perfectly, with the help of True Wisdom, it wasn’t difficult for William to master it.

Using the Force Control Technique, William once again took control of every part of his body, and in just half an hour, he could once again control his increased physical strength perfectly.

Another benefit of mastering the Force Control Technique was being able to bring out power far exceeding his physical strength.

If he could only bring out one hundred percent of his strength previously, now he could exceed that limit and bring out power that was greater than one hundred percent.

Of course, bringing out power exceeding his own strength would put an immense toll on his body, and if he overdid it, his body would be seriously injured.

In his current physical condition, he could bring out about 150% of his strength without causing harm to his body.

But if he were to exceed this limit, it would put a great burden on his body.

Only by increasing the power of his physical body further would he be able to bring out more of his power exceeding 150%.

In fact, it wasn’t much of a problem for William to even bring out 200% of his strength, as he possessed Immortal Blood Heart.

Even if his body were to be injured because of overexerting it, it would heal in no time.

But he wasn’t a masochist who liked pain for no reason, so unless necessary, he did not intend to harm himself just to increase his attack power.

William slowly opened his eyes, and feeling perfect control over his strength again, nodded inwardly.

’Alicia said that they have already started mining Fire Essence Crystals from the Howling Desert Mine. I will have to go talk to her brother if I want a large amount of Fire Essence Crystals from him.’

William stretched out his hand, and Vermilion Fire flickered above his palm.

His Vermilion Fire was still in a seed state and needed materials full of fire energy to sprout.

William had been waiting for Alicia’s brother to start mining and bring out the first batch so that he could buy Fire Essence Crystals from him at a cheap price and feed them to his fire.

’The power of Vermilion Flame is already very strong. Once it emerges from its seed state, it should be able to increase my strength by another level.’

William put away Vermilion Fire and slumped onto the bed.

Putting his hands under his head, he stared at the ceiling while trying to sense his connection with Vivian.

But after sensing for a while, he stopped because they were too far apart, and other than figuring out her general direction, he couldn’t sense anything.

”My Dear Wife, just what are you doing out there? Don’t you know you shouldn’t leave your husband alone at home for long? What if I got led astray by a vixen and fell into her trap?” William muttered with a sigh.

”My Lord, as a faithful maid, I will definitely deliver the words that you just spoke to my lady.”

A gloating voice suddenly echoed from outside his room, and William jumped up in fright.

”Damn you, Victoria...” William gritted his teeth and walked over to the door.

He quickly opened the door and saw Victoria standing outside with a calm look.

”Don’t you feel ashamed of eavesdropping on me?”

”I wasn’t eavesdropping, My Lord...” Victoria replied with a faint smile. ”I just led the way for your friend and happened to hear your true thoughts. Don’t worry, I won’t add anything from my part and will tell My Lady everything truthfully.”

’Won’t add my foot...’ William’s mouth twitched as he knew this woman was up to no good.

He looked behind her and saw Liam standing with an awkward look.

”Umm... I think I came at the wrong time.”

’Of course, you came at the very wrong time,’ William really wanted to complain but could only swallow his words and invite him in.

”Come inside.”

Liam nodded and entered the room.

William glanced at Victoria, and seeing the faint smug smile at the corner of her mouth, he snorted and closed the door.

”Actually, I came to talk to you about factio—”

”Let’s put that aside for now,” William interrupted Liam midway. ”We are going to challenge the Heavenly Ranking, and I want you to secure a place in the Top Five. If you fail...” William paused, and a sneer appeared on his face.

”If you fail, I will drag you to the street and make you fulfill your vow of eating dogshit.”

Liam listened to William’s cold words with a dazed look on his face and only one thought came to his mind.

’It was you who were thinking about other women, buddy. Why are you venting on me now that you have been caught?’
