Global Lords: My Species Can Mutate

Chapter 89: Chapter 88: King and Consort

“Building Plan!”

Lin You was beyond thrilled.

The scroll he snatched happened to be a territory building plan!

Transform ordinary species into heroic species, awaken talents, and command other plants.

Doesn’t that mean later on, even if he’s not around, heroic species can lead other species out to hunt demons, escort caravans, or carry out missions independently?

What a great item!

It was worth risking his life to grab it; truly worth it.

The only annoying thing is the huge consumption for the transformation.

Tier Seven Species require seventy thousand Magic Energy.

He would need to kill at least twelve or twenty lords to gather it.

Moreover, this plan can drop. Once people know he carries it, undoubtedly countless pursuits will follow, so he must be cautious.

If not for the Wood Shadow Dragon advancing at the critical moment, he probably wouldn’t have escaped, only able to toss the scroll to save his life.

Thinking of this, Lin You looked at the Wood Shadow Dragon, which had already evolved into another form, as information appeared before his eyes.

[Name: Demon Consort Dragon]

[Race: Plant]

[Level: Tier Seven (0/2500)]

[Power: 781]

[Constitution: 781]

[Agility: 900]

[Spirit: 781]

[Skills: Rapid Shadow, Super Regeneration, Rose Chaos Dance (infused with Power of Nature, wildly swings the blood-colored roses on its body, delivering devastating blows to surrounding enemies.)]

[Introduction: One of the advanced forms of the Wood Shadow Dragon, covered in blood-colored roses, was a loyal Guardian of the World Tree along with the Demon King Dragon. When they meet, unexpected events occur.]

The Tier Seven Demon Consort Dragon not only grew several times larger, but its form also became significantly more slender.

Standing beside Lin You, it’s a gigantic creature, dragging terrifying blood-colored roses all over its body.

The long tail is also covered with sharp barbs.

“Demon Consort Dragon, Demon King Dragon… might they be a pair?”

Lin You looked skeptically at the introduction under the attributes.

When they meet, unexpected events occur.

Could they reproduce?

Seems unlikely, as they’re merely plants.

He wonders what the ’Demon King Dragon’ looks like and what skills it possesses.

If opportunities arise later, he might want to try.

After all, accompanying the Demon Consort Dragon, it likely isn’t weak.

The most important thing is.

Now that they’ve reached Tier Seven, they can finally take him soaring into the sky!

That indeed excited Lin You the most.

Earlier, he was too focused on escape to think much.

Now reflecting on it, he found it thrilling yet tense. Besides flying before, this was his first time reaching such heights. Falling would be no fun at all.

Seems he’ll need to get more accustomed to it moving forward.

Thinking this, Lin You directed the plants to wait in the valley.

He then jumped onto the flat back of the Demon Consort Dragon and patted its neck.

“Let’s go, let’s explore the surrounding area.”

The Demon Consort Dragon screeched sharply in response, then suddenly stirred up a whirlwind, carrying Lin You into the sky.

Sitting on the dragon’s back, looking at the ever-shrinking scene below, Lin You felt exhilarated, instinctively gripping the protruding branches on the Demon Consort Dragon’s back.

With its Tier Seven advancement, the Demon Consort Dragon’s speed nearly doubled, quickly leaving the valley far behind.

Utilizing the aerial advantage, Lin You finally saw the surrounding circumstances.

Numerous places still exhibited faintly visible pillars of light.

Constantly moving back and forth.

Obviously, the treasure contention hasn’t ended.

However, the nearest light pillar was dozens of kilometers away, rushing now would be too late.

So, he dropped the idea, continuing to scout the environment around the valley, particularly the forest he had previously been in.

To Lin You’s astonishment, once the leaders lost track of the treasures, they immediately fell into chaotic conflicts within the forest.

The entire forest echoed with war cries, teeming with lords and species, appearing overwhelmingly chaotic.

A few lords even traced towards his rough escape route, getting closer to the valley, only two or three kilometers away.

“Perfect timing.”

Lin You sneered, choosing not to immediately direct the Demon Consort Dragon back.

Instead, he had it change direction, flying toward a solitary lord nearest to him, directly swooping past that lord from the sky.

“It’s that dragon from earlier! Chase it!”

The lord, already tracking Lin You, recognized the familiar Demon Consort Dragon, and urged his forces to pursue without delay.

Beside him, the species comprised elemental Wind and Earth Elements, totaling over a hundred.

Two massive Wind Elements with whirlwinds swirling around rose, trailing the Demon Consort Dragon.

“Tier Seven species?”

Lin You glanced back, frowning at the two pursuing Wind Elements.

Though he intentionally slowed the Demon Consort Dragon, catching up undoubtedly indicates they aren’t simple Tier Six species.

No wonder this guy dared to chase alone; clearly, he had substantial backing.

Yet, just two Tier Seven species won’t easily hold him back.

“Attack! Shoot them down!”

Lin You directly commanded the Demon Consort Dragon underneath.

The Demon Consort Dragon had been deliberately lowering speed to lure the opponent, but now abruptly accelerated, suddenly turning to shoot straight towards the two Tier Seven Wind Elements, reaching them in no time.

Rose Chaos Dance!

Suddenly, the blood-colored roses on the Demon Consort Dragon surged and danced manically in the air, carrying an immensely fierce momentum. They enveloped the two Wind Elements instantly.

Smack!

One of the Wind Elements couldn’t evade and was viciously struck by the roses, its surrounding whirlwinds nearly collapsing.

Almost immediately, the other Wind Element rotated swiftly, creating a wind blade zone around itself, repelling the Demon Consort Dragon’s blood-colored thorns, even severing many.

“Not too bad.”

With the Super Regeneration Skill, the Demon Consort Dragon wasn’t much affected by the severed roses.

Seeing the assault neutralized, Lin You refrained from engaging further, swiftly directing the Demon Consort Dragon to flee the area, escaping the wind blade zone, and flying towards the valley.

The lord below saw this and mistook Lin You for being unable to match his species, fleeing in panic, becoming overjoyed.

“Chase! Don’t let him escape!”

With the Battlefield Treasure carrier in sight, he couldn’t pass up such a perfect opportunity, eagerly leading his species in pursuit.

The two sides, one before the other, soon entered the valley.

Yet the lord didn’t notice.

As he breached the valley, countless vines emerged at the entrance, thoroughly blocking his retreat.

Simultaneously, the plants Lin You had commanded to hide in the vicinity suddenly emerged, encircling them entirely.

“Not good! It’s an ambush!”

The Elemental Lord’s face drastically changed as realization dawned.

Unfortunately, it was already too late.

“Attack!”

With Lin You’s command, the sky filled with vines and Wooden Thorns, charging directly at the Elemental Lord and his surrounding species.

In the air, the two Tier Seven Wind Elements were pinned down by the Demon Consort Dragon and other Wood Shadow Dragons, preventing their aid.

The Elemental Lord desperately resisted, using Earth Elements as shields.

But soon found his Earth Elements frail as paper under the vines’ assault, one after another, being slain by vines and Wooden Thorns.

“How is this possible!”

The Elemental Lord’s mind was greatly shaken.

His gaze followed the attack to the distance.

He suddenly noticed two bizarrely shaped, overwhelmingly imposing plants, alongside a miniature fairy floating beside, his expression instantly transforming.
