Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 808: Chapter 332: Flasuo’s Shock

Alien Blood Flasuo has been released.

It was his daughter who personally went to pick him up.

The once naive and domineering little princess of the Security Corps has now turned into an excellent Mecha Warrior after being taught by reality.

She inherited the talent of ’Alien Blood’ and has the ability to alter ’pheromones.’ This ability makes it easier for her to achieve human-machine unity and operate the top-tier biomechanical armor of the group.

”Father.”

Gazing at the tall blue-skinned female warrior before him, Flasuo opened and closed his mouth, unsure of what to say.

His daughter was doing well, and it was the only piece of good news he had heard in years.

”Let’s go.”

Looking at her father’s back, for reasons unknown, a thought flashed through Angie’s mind—her father was getting old.

Like the Prison Island that housed a certain Ye the Big Lolita, the Du Gao Group also had its own corporate prison, a highly mechanized island surrounded by an endless sea. Not even marine life existed there; without supplies, any escaping prisoner would surely starve to death.

”He’s out,” said Valkyrie, now the controller of the Valkyrie Corps, who was once the model Little Crimson Queen, calmly.

”Legion Commander,” Angie saluted her.

Valkyrie nodded and looked at Flasuo.

Although Flasuo had been imprisoned for three years, his superpowers had not vanished. From Valkyrie, he could feel intense spatial fluctuations, stronger even than at his peak.

’Could this be the strongest of the ’Mechanical Hunters’?’

Flasuo remained on high alert.

Even if his daughter frequently told him about ’Du Gao Technology’, his impression of Black Rose and Gao Gong was still stuck in the image of a small Mechanical Hunter organization.

It had perhaps grown a bit in three years, but he doubted it could have grown much.

The emergence of such a super-strong entity was beyond his expectations.

”Dad, wait a moment, I’ll bring my mecha over.”

”Uh, okay.”

Glancing at Valkyrie, Flasuo thought, with such a strong Space System user, he’s indeed not worried about me escaping.

But soon, the blue-skinned middle-aged man’s pupils widened.

As another mechanical gate slowly opened, a gigantic mechanical monstrosity, exuding terrifying power, slowly floated toward him.

The monster’s back bore an ion cloak emitted by energy particles, and its red mechanical body was sleek and graceful, especially the huge ’reactor’ at its chest. The energy fluctuation it emitted was almost beyond his imagination, not to mention the large Light Saber at its waist, the shoulder-mounted rapid-fire energy cannon, and the mechanical killing weapon modified from a construct. Each type of technology shocked Flasuo’s senses.

Before his ’imprisonment’, mech-like existences hadn’t even been developed on this planet.

Let alone something that could nearly reach the ’Tier 3 Star Armor’ level of S-level biomechanical armor.

”Dad, come with me.”

Angie’s voice came from the mecha, but the mecha’s head was still looking at Valkyrie.

Mr. G’s nominal daughter was the real decision-maker.

Valkyrie nodded, and with a flash of spatial radiance, her figure disappeared.

Gao Gong mastered ’Space Destruction’. The biggest beneficiary was no one else but her, truly becoming a master in spatial control and usage.

Seeing this, Angie also breathed a sigh of relief because every super corporation had its own internal guards to monitor all executives. Du Gao Technology’s was precisely the Valkyrie Corps under their control.

She couldn’t forget, even someone like her, an Advanced Combatant, if she ever violated the group’s interests, Valkyrie would be as unyielding.

Outsiders might think Du Zhaodi was the one in command of this super group, but only the true core staff knew who truly piloted this rapidly rising super power.

”Daughter, I never expected you to be so valued here!” Flasuo exclaimed.

In Flasuo’s mind, being able to control such a powerful mechanical body, his daughter must be the ace in their hand.

Probably because of his daughter’s strength, they chose to let him go.

This explanation made many things logical; maybe inheriting his bloodline talent was the key to controlling this beast.

Perhaps through this...

”Uh—”

Seeing her father already lost in his imaginative scenarios, Angie didn’t know how to explain.

While she indeed piloted the group’s strongest mecha, there was more than one ’biomechanical armor’; the first batch production had ten units.

According to the grapevine, as the group absorbed the Knight Order’s years of biomechanical technology, the next batch might have as many as a hundred units.

Being among the top one percent in strength doesn’t give her as much say as flattering herself to believe.

’I hope Dad quickly realizes he’s just an ordinary worker,’ thought Angie.

Her hope soon came true.

When Flasuo saw the dense fleet of mechas in the sky, though not matching S-level biomechanical armors, they were the group’s main forces—Pioneer Mechas. His mouth hung open, unable to close for a long time.

And when he saw ten sky carriers floating within the radiation layer, he was entirely dumbfounded. After a long while, he said with difficulty:

”Daughter, was it necessary to mobilize so many people just to watch over a prisoner like me?”

”Uh, no, Dad, it was previously for capturing a ’Cybertron Mechanism’ that we deployed such forces, taking you was just on the way.”

”...”

Flasuo silently glanced at the gigantic biomechanical armor. Although his daughter becoming larger and stronger was good, this little cotton jacket wasn’t as considerate as before.

Soon, the biomechanical armor paused on the deck of a sky carrier. Angie recovered from the ’Human Armor Unity’ state and walked straight down from the lift.

There were people coming and going on the deck, with her dad looking around like a curious bystander, somewhat amusingly.

”Stop looking, Dad. Let’s go eat. You’ve been locked up in prison for so many years. You must...” Angie paused and said, ”No, you’ve been living quite well, with food, clothes, and the ability to play on the virtual machine. I see you’ve gained a few pounds.”

Flasuo silently looked at her. This little cotton jacket was indeed letting the wind through.

”Come on, let’s eat!”

”Angie, you’re back!”

”Captain Xiaoju.”

”You fought well before.”

”Thanks for your guidance, Captain.”

”Angie, here, it’s an alien drink, a specialty I bought from the Mother City.”

”Thanks.”

Flasuo followed Angie all the way to the cafeteria, where Angie helped Flasuo pick a seat by the window. She went to get the dishes, soon filling the table with fresh vegetables, fruits, and meats.

”Is there any alcohol?” Flasuo suddenly asked.

Angie stared at him for a moment, then suddenly smiled.

”Yes, wait here.”

Halfway through the meal, Flasuo stopped, gazing out the window at another connecting sky carrier, and suddenly asked:

”What happened to my old one?”

”It was dismantled.”

”Dismantled!?”

”The group wants to reverse-engineer the technology. How could it work without dismantling it? Besides, your old one was already an outdated model using old-style ion engines. Now we’re using the fourth-generation reactors.”

Flasuo silently downed a glass of alcohol.

”How many of these carriers does your group have?”

”The plan is to build four major sky fleets to secure the airspace over the four planets in the east, south, west, and north. But so far, only the eastern fleet is complete—this very carrier underneath us, roughly comprising about a dozen ships.”

Flasuo silently drank another glass.

”But I’ve heard the captain thinks having only sky carriers lacks firepower to cover our strike teams’ advances, and she’s currently applying for more.”

”Lacks firepower?”

Flasuo felt his imagination wasn’t sufficient.

”A dozen carriers aren’t enough. What more do you want!?”

”Rumor has it the captain wants to apply for ’Sky Fortress’ for the eastern fleet.”

”Pfft~”

Flasuo nearly spat out his drink, coughing for a while before regaining composure.

He naturally knew of ’Sky Fortress,’ an essential weapon for star wars. Regardless of this planet, only a few super military groups could build it, and even in outer space, it’s the core weapon of ’Star Thief Group.’

In typical interstellar wars, ’Sky Fortress’ is the upper limit.

Since when did this thing become so devalued?

But he quickly came to his senses, puzzled:

”Building a Sky Fortress. Surely, the materials from this planet alone aren’t enough. Are you kidding me?”

Though unclear on how a hunter group developed so swiftly within three or four years, he knew creating such a war weapon like ’Sky Fortress’ solely depended on planetary materials would be insufficient.

”You’re right. Previously, we ordered through the ’Tabor Defense’ smuggling channels from outer space, and even then, not much quantity.”

Tabor Defense, that global top-tier military corporation!?

Flasuo opened his mouth and wanted to say, how could that be possible? Such a colossal entity, even for a former colonial Governor and a top figure in the Security Corps like him, seeing one of their high-ranking members was incredibly rare.

Angie didn’t notice his thoughts and continued:

”...Even so, it wasn’t sufficient. After Mr. G became Minister of Shell Mobile Division, he opened Mother City’s purchase channels, making the manufacturing plans smooth.”

”...”

Flasuo was silent for a long while.

Among all the information, the most shocking was likely the appointment of Mr. G as the ’Minister of Shell Mobile Division.’

This meal ended in silence.

Seeing her father as if he lost his soul, Angie instead breathed a sigh of relief, fearing he might still want revenge.

The former Security Corps had entirely different levels compared to the current Du Gao Group.

Any hostile action by her dad would only result in self-humiliation.
