Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

”Yes, we have considered these three issues, so we need your support to help solve these problems.”

Tian Shu thought for a moment and said:

”Actually, there is another hidden danger. The box-type substation increases the voltage and transmits the electric energy to the collection line. The current capacity of the concentration line is insufficient, which will easily cause problems later. We must replace it with thicker cables with stronger conductivity.

Moreover, the conductivity of aluminum is second only to copper, with its conductivity being only two-thirds that of copper, but its density is only one-third that of copper, copper’s density is greater than aluminum...”

Li Yu hurriedly asked, ”Do we have these cable materials?”

Li Hang next to him said, ”Yes, just recently, the Fifth Satellite City collected a lot of copper-core cables, a large quantity, can be used.”

Speaking of this, Li Yu had some impressions.

It seems that it was Old Huang’s group that discovered a cable factory buried in ruins, and later exchanged high points with the Big Camphor Tree Base, sparking a craze for collecting cables among cooperative personnel.

Old Dong pondered for a moment and asked: ”Is the main storage of electricity through batteries?”

Zhou Ran nodded and said, ”Yes, currently electricity is mainly stored through batteries. Some of the electric energy generated by the Zombie Generator is supplied to the Big Camphor Tree Base for use, and another part is stored.”

Old Dong touched his Mediterranean hairstyle and asked, ”What type of batteries are used?”

Zhou Ran replied:

”There’s no need to worry about that, we use common battery energy storage technologies, including lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and sodium-sulfur batteries. These battery systems can store a large amount of electric energy, release it according to demand, and provide continuous and stable power output.”

Old Dong nodded and continued, ”That’s quite good... but...”

Then he was about to continue speaking, but he stopped suddenly, worried about hurting Zhou Ran and He Bing’s reputation.

He Bing saw this and spoke frankly: ”Just say it, you’re the expert in the power system, Lao Zhou and I are the mechanical players.”

”Finish it,” Li Yu said lightly.

Upon hearing Li Yu speak, Old Dong continued with what he hadn’t finished saying just now:

”It’s just that a single battery storage is somewhat lacking,

Power storage technology generally has two kinds: 1. Battery energy storage: Using batteries to store the electric energy generated by wind power systems.

2. Hydrogen storage technology: Using water electrolysis to convert the electric energy generated by wind power systems into hydrogen, then storing the hydrogen.

When needed, the stored hydrogen can be reconverted into electric energy through fuel cells. Hydrogen storage technology can provide long-term energy storage and rapid release capabilities.

Moreover, fuel cells have high energy conversion efficiency and low noise.

Therefore, I think to ensure more stability, we can use both methods.”

.....

Subsequently, Old Dong spoke eloquently, saying a lot, evidently entering his professional field, with many technical terms popping out of his mouth, which Li Yu couldn’t understand.

But he didn’t interrupt him.

Because he saw He Bing, Zhou Ran, Li Hang, and the others listening intently.

As they talked, He Bing and the others joined in the discussion, and as they chatted, their expressions became excited.

Li Yu glanced at the time, it had already been ten minutes since Old Dong and the others arrived, and the time had reached two-thirty in the morning.

So he spoke, ”I have two things to say.”

Everyone stopped their discussion and looked at Li Yu.

”First question, how long will it take to fix the Zombie Generator? Second question, how long can the current power stored in batteries last?”

Everyone present fell silent upon hearing Li Yu’s questions.

He Bing thought for a while and said to Zhou Ran and others, ”Let’s distribute the tasks. I’ll handle the short circuit issue, you handle... Old Dong, with the series connection and battery storage issues on your side, how long will it take to solve together?”

Zhou Ran said, ”At least 10 hours.”

Old Dong estimated and said, ”3 days, if someone helps me, it can be faster.”

Li Hang quickly said, ”I can help.”

”Me too.” Lao Luo and Li Zhengping both raised their hands.

Upon hearing them, He Bing then spoke to Li Yu:

”Half a day can restore normalcy, and then we discussed needing about three days to upgrade the current power system, but this does not affect the Zombie Generator’s power generation.”

”Additionally, with our current stored power, combined with other wind power generation, we can last for two months.”

Li Yu nodded satisfactorily upon hearing this.

Apart from the Zombie Generator, considering the current reserves of charcoal, wood charcoal, and oil at the Big Camphor Tree Base, based on the daily power needs, it can last for two years.

However, these are non-renewable resources and are considered strategic materials at the Big Camphor Tree Base, not to be used unnecessarily.

Moreover, the oil inside has other uses, so it is even less likely to be used for power generation.

”Alright, I’ll give you three days, during which time you need materials, equipment, and other items, go to Li Hang to get them, Li Hang will help you solve these issues.”

Li Hang nodded and said, ”Okay, bro.”

Li Yu looked at Old Dong and others, and finally said, ”You all work hard, don’t leave here for the next couple of days, I’ll send someone to inform your families.”

Old Dong and others quickly said, ”Understood.”
