Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Ju Tianrui and the others entered the dormitory building and smashed open the gate with the gun barrel.

Crash~

The gate was pulled open, and sunlight poured in.

The previously dark hall was now much brighter.

Ju Tianrui was the first to go inside, followed closely by several teammates.

”Group 1 follow me, Group 2 clean the second floor, Group 3 clean the third floor,” Ju Tianrui waved his hand behind him and spoke.

Everyone turned on their headlamps; although there was still light outside, there were no lights inside, and some windows were covered in dust, blocking the light.

But some windows were broken, allowing the light to shine in from outside.

People dispersed.

Ju Tianrui led five people in formation, slowly heading inside.

The first place they arrived at was the bathroom; in these junior high dormitory buildings, you would generally find the bathroom upon walking in from the hall.

The bathroom smelled unbearable, with a nauseating stench assaulting them.

Ju Tianrui frowned, standing at the bathroom entrance, and the teammates hurried to catch up.

The bathroom window was extremely small, coupled with being on the first floor; the outside wall blocked the light, making the bathroom extremely dark.

As soon as the team member walked in, the headlamp shone next to the squat toilet, where zombies stood densely packed.

When the light shone inside, these zombies seemed to notice the light and turned their heads one after another.

Roar!

Roar roar roar roar!

Instantly, the teammate’s scalp began to tingle, as if countless ants were scratching the top of his head.

These zombies were only three or four meters away from him, and they lunged over.

Bam bam bam!

Without hesitation, he immediately opened fire, sweeping at the zombies coming toward him.

”Blabbermouth, why did you start shooting... Whoa! Pull back, retreat to the bathroom entrance.” Ju Tianrui was about to angrily scold, but as he turned to look inside and saw the dense zombies in front of Blabbermouth, he abruptly fell silent.

If there were only one or two zombies, they could solve the problem with melee weapons.

But with so many zombies suddenly appearing, it’s very difficult without using guns.

After the gunfire sounded, it quickly affected zombies in other parts of the building, waking them and causing them to rush toward the gunfire.

Blabbermouth continued to fire at the zombies in front and retreated to the bathroom entrance.

When Ju Tianrui heard footsteps rushing from upstairs, he turned pale with astonishment.

So many!

He immediately contacted the other two groups on the walkie-talkie: ”Group 2 and Group 3 come downstairs, let’s lure the zombies out to kill them!”

They had done clearing operations many times before, but typically there wouldn’t be so many zombies inside a building.

Sometimes they’d clear an entire building and only find one or two zombies.

But now, after just starting to check a bathroom, they encountered this many zombies.

It’s truly overwhelming.

First floor.

From both sides of the long, dark corridor of dorm rooms, many zombies suddenly emerged.

These zombies were not tall; they looked like they were junior high students from here.

But even though they’re short, they are still zombies and can bite.

Ju Tianrui quickly called over two people beside him and started firing in the direction of the corridor.

Bam bam bam!

The gunfire erupted.

The intense sound of gunfire made Li Yu, who was outside the school, furrow his brow.

Weren’t they supposed to use guns as little as possible?

It seems they’ve encountered quite a lot of zombies; after hesitating a bit, he said to Xiao Jun: ”You keep watch here, I’ll go take a look.”

After speaking, he and Jackals started heading toward the school.

Jackals wanted to dissuade him; in his view, protecting Li Yu meant keeping him in a safe place to avoid many troubles.

He sighed.

Inwardly he felt helpless: ”There’s never been anyone protected like this who is not a worry.”

Despite feeling helpless, he still followed closely behind.

....

Inside the dormitory building.

It seemed as if it had come alive; the entire building’s zombies became agitated, with dense footsteps making a tremendous noise.

First floor.

Zombies rushed over from the bathroom and the corridor directions.

But due to the corridor width limit, the zombies couldn’t all run out at once.

This gave Ju Tianrui and his team time to respond and block them.

In the corridor, dozens of meters were full of zombies.

The heads of corpses surged!

The gunfire continued.

After receiving Ju Tianrui’s message, Group 2 and Group 3 quickly ran downstairs.

Group 3 encountered zombies from higher floors in the stairwell on their way down.

Group 3 fired all rounds, struggling to carve a path.

Bullets flew out of the gun barrels relentlessly.

Da da da da ——

Soon, Group 3 came down to join Group 2.

Group 2 dared not rush to retreat; they kept waiting here for Group 3 to come down.

If Group 2 went down first, without obstruction, the floor’s zombies would simply rush into the stairwell.

In that scenario, Group 3 would find themselves caught in a pincer from above and below.

Once Group 3 came down, Group 2 began to retreat as well.

Blocking zombies coming downstairs while also blocking zombies from the second floor.

Those on the first floor heard a loud noise from the stairs and aimed their guns.

But upon seeing it was Group 2 and Group 3, they quickly looked away from the barrel.

Shouting loudly: ”Hurry up!”

Ju Tianrui turned his head and saw people coming downstairs, his heart slightly relieved.

Then continued to block incoming zombies; due to the narrow passage, the dead zombies quickly piled up into a hill.

The zombies leading the charge, mindless, just pounced and gnawed on the dead companions.

But the zombies in the rear didn’t care about this, constantly rushing forward.
