Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Third Uncle didn’t hesitate, replied: ”Okay.”

After speaking, he found Li Tie and his brother, gave them some instructions, and then got into the car.

Ant had already refueled the vehicle with diesel and water, waved at Li Yu, and then got into the car.

Li Yu and the others watched from behind as Third Uncle and his team started the vehicle, slowly driving out from the small building towards the main entrance.

Xiao Jun, at the driving school entrance, saw Third Uncle’s vehicle and had already received Li Yu’s message, so he proactively opened the gate for them to leave.

After Third Uncle and his team left, the main group also sped up packing their luggage, finishing breakfast, and handling personal matters.

Ten minutes later, Li Yu looked at everyone and said: ”Let’s go.”

Ling Feng and his group followed the vehicle all the way to the driving school entrance, watching them leave.

An old man beside Ling Feng remarked wistfully: ”Now we’ve found new hope.”

Ling Feng said excitedly: ”No matter how you look at it, if Sister Chu chose them, they can’t be bad. You’ve seen it yourself, they have tanks and cannons. With that kind of power, those Motorcycle Gang people are doomed.”

After speaking, Ling Feng turned to another person and said: ”Sister Chu just gave us a package, said it’s borrowed food. See how much is inside?”

The person opened the package, revealing thirty pieces of flatbread inside.

Looking at the flatbread, Ling Feng felt touched and saluted the departing convoy.

.....

In the car.

Li Yu held an automatic rifle in his hand, his eyes fixed on the map.

Li Tie’s previous plan was to go to Oil City first.

Last night, he learned from Ling Feng and others that the Motorcycle Gang is currently building a new gathering place.

It’s not far from Oil City, just a dozen kilometers away.

If they attack Oil City, they must consider one thing: during the attack, the Motorcycle Gang from the point a dozen kilometers away will surely come to support.

So, they must resolve the fight quickly.

Moreover, resolving Oil City preferably should not involve using cannons.

It’s full of oil, and if a bomb accidentally hits the oil pipeline, or worse, the oil well directly, the entire Oil City could be destroyed.

Eliminating Oil City can only be done by moving quickly, using utmost efficiency, minimizing attention; the deployed personnel can’t be many, and ideally, it’s done at night.

Thus, the personnel quality for those tasked to seize Oil City becomes very high.

The original plan was for Third Uncle and a few others to go there while it’s dark, quickly take a few key locations inside, open the gates, and then Li Yu and the others would swiftly enter.

Of course, this was just their ideal scenario.

Now, hearing Ling Feng’s account, it seems the Motorcycle Gang is scattered everywhere in Xinyang, so possibly, they might be found en route.

Killing isn’t the goal; acquiring oil resources is the core purpose.

After looking at the map for a while and briefing Luo, Ju Tianrui, and others, Li Yu narrowed his eyes slightly.

Four hours later, at twelve noon, they entered the Xinyang territory.

The flatbed carrying the tank also unloaded the tank.

Yu Province isn’t like Gansheng, where much of the terrain is plains, suitable for tank maneuvering.

While driving, they suddenly received a message from Third Uncle.

”Xiao Yu, we captured several Motorcycle Gang members. They had a guard post by the roadside, we spotted it, and took them down.

According to them, there are three strongholds.

One stronghold is Oil City, not far from their base, specialized in providing them with energy.

Another stronghold is actually formed by annexing a force, where they enslave local people to grow crops, providing food resources.

The last stronghold is their base, now under construction.”

Upon hearing this, Li Yu promptly contacted Third Uncle: ”Third Uncle, have you been detected?”

Third Uncle looked at a vast field, in the distance was a stretch of low houses, finding no one.

So he replied: ”No sightings within view, but when atop this guard post, we found they had walkie-talkies, there’s a good chance they already relayed this info back.

Also, I am roughly fifteen kilometers from Oil City here.”

”I think we might need to amend our original plan.”

Li Yu asked in some surprise: ”How so?”

Third Uncle glanced at the tied-up Motorcycle Gang members, and said to Li Yu: ”These people have very tough mouths, not answering my questions for ages, but during their bragging, I learned about the gang’s three strongholds.

Besides, encountering these Motorcycle Gang members so far ahead.

If we continue onwards, surely we’ll meet them again, and in battle, some gang members might see us, then we’ve been exposed.

Another crucial point, this area is all plains. As per the original plan, we were supposed to sneak in at night, seize Oil City, then you’d quickly follow.

This has a premise, that we must hide before dark, and the distance you come from can’t be too far.

If too far, traveling at night with zombies becomes very unsafe.

However, the group I captured seems to be the gang’s vanguard, this Motorcycle Gang is tougher to deal with than we imagined.

I suggest modifying the plan, go directly and seize Oil City at once. And with utmost speed!

I suspect, now the gang members may have discovered us.”

Third Uncle’s words made Li Yu’s heart drop a beat.

A Motorcycle Gang that builds a brainwashing model and expands swiftly, their leader, Old Ghost, surely isn’t foolish.

On the contrary, very clever.

For instance, setting a guard post a dozen kilometers from Oil City reveals plenty.

Li Yu pondered for a while.

Quickly made a decision: ”Okay, we speed up, come over, and soon seize Oil City together.”
