Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 668: Chapter 549: Now, There Are More Important Matters (Two in One)_3

Secondly,

Xiao Jun and his people watched us kill Gan Gaojie, and judging from their initial reaction, they were indeed deceived.

Thirdly,

Xiao Jun and his group stayed at Juzi Island for less than a day before leaving, then immediately found us to inform us about the Western Alliance and expressed some thoughts about joining us.

Whether Xiao Jun has deceived us, whether it’s possible that he used us to kill Gan Gaojie and cause conflict between us and the so-called Gan Shang and others,

It’s unknown.

If what he said is true, then his current actions are all reasonable.

Third Uncle, I think we still need to be prudent at this point.

Not to mention other things, we’ve just acquired tanks, mortar and other heavy weapons; it will take some time to become proficient in their operation.

Right now, the initiative is in our hands.

If what Xiao Jun has said is true.

Then the situation over at Juzi Island is somewhat complicated.

After all, they have over three hundred people there; their strength is not to be underestimated, and if a battle breaks out, our side is bound to suffer some casualties.

Furthermore, if we engage in battle with Gan Shang and the others, might we accidentally harm Ju Tianrui and his group, or conversely, would Ju Tianrui help us.

All of this is unknown.

If Gan Gaojie is really that important, they will certainly send people to search for him.

By then, relying on our control over Xin City, once they arrive, we will definitely be aware.

At that time, everything Xiao Jun has said will be verified.

Additionally, if they come over and their forces are spread out, it will be easier for us to deal with them.”

After listening to Li Yu’s words, Third Uncle fell silent for a few seconds, then said:

”You make sense, being more cautious is good.”

If we are to annihilate the whole of Juzi Island and eliminate over three hundred people, what about the remaining two thousand-plus refugees? Clearly, it’s not very practical.

The complexity of the situation can only be untangled like peeling a silk cocoon, gradually uncovering information bit by bit.

Then from that, we must choose the most appropriate course of action.

If possible, inciting conflict between Ju Tianrui and Gan Shang and then getting Ju Tianrui to leave would undoubtedly be the optimal solution for Big Camphor Tree Base.

With the increase in population at the base, Li Yu has also grown a lot. When he is forced to make many decisions, he needs to consider everything comprehensively and always act in the interest of the base.

Observing and waiting is the best choice for now.

If what Xiao Jun has said is true, Gan Shang will inevitably have conflicts with Ju Tianrui, and if Ju Tianrui is forced to leave, then Big Camphor Tree Base can ally with Ju Tianrui and then take down Gan Shang.

If what he said is false, then as time passes, the truth will reveal itself.

However, the most crucial thing at present is that Li Yu does not wish to engage in conflicts with other forces; they have more important tasks at hand.

In mid-August, the temperature reaches a peak, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, the whole world will plunge into darkness.

The location of Big Camphor Tree Base is not on an active seismic belt, but there might still be slight tremors.

Volcanoes are critical; their eruptions will have a significant impact on the future post-apocalyptic world.

At the moment, when Big Camphor Tree Base is still constructing bunkers and buildings,

They do not have the energy,

Nor the workforce,

Nor the time, to become involved in conflicts with Juzi Island.

The situation remains unclear, so it’s best to concentrate on the current tasks and prepare for the next month.

Perhaps, with the eruption of earthquakes and volcanoes next month,

There will be no need for Li Yu and his group to take action, as Juzi Island might just collapse on its own.
