The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 623: Chapter 623: I’ll Study by Your Side

Lin Tian’s words carried with them a bit of Spiritual Qi, enough for everyone within fifty meters to hear clearly.

But even so, people swarmed towards him like bees drawn to flowers.

Lin Tian wanted to run... so he grabbed Liou Qingcheng’s hand and really did run. It was as if a flood or a ferocious beast was behind them.

Seeing Lin Tian actually turn and run, someone remembered his words just now and stopped, then the second person did the same, and then everyone inexplicably stopped.

There was even a girl shouting, ”Lin Tian! Don’t be shy!”

Lin Tian wasn’t shy; he was afraid of being devoured by the crowd.

Turning around, Lin Tian found that they indeed stopped chasing, and he grinned, ”You guys are terrifying, I’ve never seen such a scene. But being a star is really quite dangerous.”

”Hahaha...”

His first sentence instantly made everyone laugh uproariously.

”Husband, does your mom know you’re this cute?”

”Hahaha, everyone don’t scare him, he’s shy.”

”Looks handsome, and so bashful, just the type I like...”

Everyone was saying different things, all kinds of remarks, but it was incredibly lively and filled with laughter.

Lin Tian gestured with both hands for calm and quickly said, ”Everyone quiet down, listen to what I have to say.”

His words had some effect, gradually quieting the scene as everyone fixed their gaze on Lin Tian, curious about what he was going to say next.

”I really thank you for supporting me. Actually, I’m just an ordinary person who knows a bit about medicine. I have no particular qualities, in fact, I have many shortcomings, like I love to scratch my feet and smack my lips while eating, but don’t worry, I absolutely wash my hands when treating patients, there won’t be any bad smell!”

”Hahaha...”

Everyone burst into laughter again, was this a self-deprecating joke? Too amusing!

”I’ve suddenly found that I’m starting to like you more and more!” a girl shouted loudly, ”I want to have your babies!”

”No need, no need.” Lin Tian quickly waved his hand and said, ”Listen to me, everyone go back, this is a hospital, not my concert. The world is vast, but patients are the most important. We need to provide a good medical environment for patients and ancient medicine practitioners. Also, as you can see, there are so many media outlets here, you’ll see me in the news tomorrow, so go home for now.”

Lin Tian reasoned with them, also appealing to their emotions, and convinced the fans, who, though uneasy, nodded in agreement. After all, what Lin Tian said was true.

Lin Tian then looked at the reporters and said, ”And to the journalists from major newspapers and websites, I completely understand your feelings. But please, when you’re filming me later, try to keep a distance from the patients and me, can you do that?”

Under everyone’s gaze, they had to agree even if they didn’t want to, right?

Someone asked, ”What if we can’t get a clear shot of your face?”

”I’m not a celebrity, I don’t need so much exposure. Besides, you’re just using a few photos, the video doesn’t have to be so clear, right?”

What he said indeed made sense, the reporters couldn’t rebut and silently agreed.

Lastly, there were the patients, standing at the back due to some having mobility difficulties. Lin Tian had to raise his voice and said, ”And to the fellow patients at the back. As an ancient medicine practitioner, I understand your feelings. I can tell from your faces what illnesses you have. They’re not really rare illnesses; there are many other doctors in the hospital you can consult. This is Kanyue City Central Hospital, the medical team here is strong, please trust them.”

”Moreover, considering yesterday’s situation. My patients’ illnesses are quite hard to treat, some suffer from terminal diseases, others have been tormented by illnesses for years. And those people managed to get an appointment; shouldn’t we let them have the opportunity?”

The patients were silent until someone suddenly shouted, ”Lin, my father’s illness has been lingering for years, other doctors can’t treat him, please help us.”

”Yes, yes, and mine too...”

Suddenly, the scene became chaotic again. Everyone is inherently selfish, and the first ones to come to mind are themselves or their loved ones. How could they miss such a great opportunity?

Lin Tian shouted again, ”I know, I understand. But there are so many patients, and I’m just one person, a drop in the ocean. Please, listen to me and find other doctors first. Later, I will hold a press conference and also write a medical book, detailing everything I’ve learned. Is that okay with you all?”

Seeing Lin Tian’s troubled expression, some remained silent. Indeed, how long would the queue be if only he was to see all the patients?

Perhaps the solution Lin Tian mentioned was the most reasonable compromise for now.

Actually, the diseases of these patients present could also be treated by the hospital, but after Lin Tian’s fame yesterday, who wouldn’t want him to check?

”Let’s disperse, everyone’s time is precious, no need to waste it here, right?” Lin Tian said.

The crowd finally began to scatter slowly, and the previously crowded hospital gradually became less congested.

Lin Tian pulled Liou Qingcheng’s hand and returned to the clearing.

Liou Qingcheng followed not just to learn, but to assist Lin Tian, like running errands.

Lin Tian couldn’t bear to have her do these things, afraid she might get tired, but compared to her past dance training, running errands was quite relaxing; she didn’t seem tired at all and was instead full of enthusiasm.

What’s more puzzling to Lin Tian was that Mr. Zhang came again. Just like yesterday, dressed in ordinary clothes, he brought a wooden chair and sat at a moderate distance, smiling as he watched him.

Who would’ve thought that this amiable little old man was actually a big figure.

Compared to yesterday, all the officials who were with Zhang Zhixing were gone, leaving only him.

It makes sense too, could such a large Ministry of Health have all its officials watching one doctor treat patients?

If reported by the media, they’d be accused of slacking off!

”Lin, just now, you certainly stole the spotlight, limitless future ahead,” Zhang Zhixing said with a smile.

He called Lin Tian a little brother, but Lin Tian didn’t dare see himself as his peer. Officials aren’t to be trifled with.

”Minister, please stop teasing me, you just saw, I was so scared I ran away,” Lin Tian replied, embarrassed.

”Hahaha.” Zhang Zhixing laughed, pointing at Lin Tian, and laughed, scolding, ”Do you think I’m not aware of your mischievous nature? The imposing demeanor at the summit the day before yesterday was the real you, wasn’t it? You were just putting on a show just now.”

Lin Tian chuckled, ”There’s nothing I can hide from you, it seems.”

”Alright, enough flattery. Have you adjusted your state today? You looked pretty tired yesterday.”

”I slept, feeling much better.”

”That’s good, you go ahead and treat the patients. I’ll be on the side to learn.”
