The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 447: Chapter 447: Ambush (Part 2)

The car windows had all shattered into fragments.

If the sniper fired again, it would be easy for him to score a headshot.

Of course, Lin Tian would not give the opponent that chance.

Seizing the brief pause, Lin Tian kicked open the car door, then rolled half a turn, going from upside down to a crouch.

Lin Tian crouched behind the car door; although the windows were gone, the door was still bulletproof.

Using his vision power, Lin Tian could see the sniper had already moved behind another bush.

The opponent was observing him through the scope, looking for a chance to deliver a fatal shot.

Lin Tian’s hand reached for his waist and felt the gun but then let go after some thought, picking up a shard of broken glass from the ground instead.

Although Lin Tian’s marksmanship wasn’t bad, he preferred and was more accustomed to relying on his own skills.

The sniper was on a hill not far away, about two hundred meters or so.

This distance was already quite extreme for Lin Tian, but still within effective range.

Lin Tian hid behind the car door, though his face and upper body were protected, the door’s curve exposed his legs.

Through his vision, Lin Tian noticed the sniper was ready to fire, so he promptly rolled on the ground.

As Lin Tian rolled, the sniper fired, but unfortunately, he missed Lin Tian, leaving a deep trench in the ground.

Seeing this, Lin Tian couldn’t help but feel frightened. If the bullet had hit his leg, it would have pierced his entire leg, and gunshot wounds like that aren’t easy to stop from bleeding.

Lin Tian shook his head to calm himself down. He then stood up, gathering all his Spiritual Power in his right hand’s middle and index fingers, and threw the shard of glass.

Once Lin Tian concentrated his Spiritual Qi, his full power was terrifying.

The shard of glass flew out with a whooshing noise, incredibly fast.

For some reason, the sniper felt a sudden tension in his heart. It was a premonition honed from countless battles, a premonition that had saved him many times. But this time, it was the most frightening, as if death himself had come.

Soon, he saw something shimmering in the sunlight flying towards him.

The sniper only reacted in an instant, the speed was simply too fast.

Thud.

A sound only the sniper could hear exploded by his ear, and he lost consciousness. The shard had pierced his head, killing him.

Even Lin Tian hadn’t expected his strength to be so immense. From such a distance, he was able to pierce the sniper’s skull with a shard, splattering brain matter.

Of course, only he witnessed this scene.

Before he could savor the joy, Lin Tian quickly opened the car’s back door, saying to the people inside, ”I’ve taken care of the sniper. Everyone, come out quickly.”

No one saw how Lin Tian did it, but they all chose to believe him.

Lin Tian reached into the car, catching the unconscious Xiao Er and Xiao Liu, pulling them out of the car.

After checking their breath with his fingers, luckily, they were merely passed out.

Lin Tian lifted one in each hand and placed them in the roadside grass. Though dirty, it could save their lives.

Then, Lin Tian’s hands again filled with Spiritual Power, pulling out the other injured people from the car.

Feeling the immense strength in Lin Tian’s hands, Xiao Yi gave him an extra look.

Uninjured, Mei Ruyan had already opened the car door herself and climbed out.

Xiao Yi looked at Lin Tian gratefully, his lips moving, then nodded at Lin Tian, saying, ”Thanks, brother.”

Aside from Lin Tian and Mei Ruyan, everyone else was injured, some lightly, some heavily. But escaping the car so quickly without Lin Tian’s help was impossible.

”Alright, stop with the thank-you speeches. Just buy me a drink when we get back,” Lin Tian smiled, then said, ”Everyone, stay by the roadside. Although this car is bulletproof, it’s still too dangerous.”

Upon hearing Lin Tian, everyone snapped to attention. Xiao Yi first leaned his face on the car to observe behind them, seeing no danger, he carried the severely injured Xiao Wu and leapt into the grass.

The others followed suit, sprinting to the roadside.

This section of road didn’t have many cars passing by, so it wasn’t wide, making it easy to hide quickly.

As long as they reached the roadside, it would be hard for the opponent to spot them through the trees and grass. Then they could slowly sneak into Bai Shishi’s villa.

Just as Mei Ruyan was about to run to the roadside, gunshots suddenly rang out. Mei Ruyan glanced back and told Lin Tian, ”They’re coming. There are at least fifteen of them.”

With the opponents armed, Mei Ruyan and Lin Tian were immediately restricted in their movement, forced to hide behind the car, as peeking out would mean facing a barrage of bullets.

”I’ll cover you. When their fire focuses on me, you run to the roadside,” Lin Tian said to Mei Ruyan.

”What are you planning?” Mei Ruyan’s voice no longer held its icy tone but was thick with concern. ”Don’t do anything foolish.”

Lin Tian nodded, ”Don’t worry.”

But Mei Ruyan still couldn’t relax. As she wanted to say more, Lin Tian had already taken off his shirt, revealing his muscular upper body, making Mei Ruyan blush.

Then, Lin Tian flung the shirt forcefully to the side.

The shirt spread out, and the opponents immediately targeted it, pulling their triggers.

Bam bam bam~

The continuous gunfire heightened Mei Ruyan’s anxiety.

At that moment, Mei Ruyan felt a hand on her buttock.

Lin Tian didn’t have time to feel Mei Ruyan’s plump and firm rear before he was already channeling Spiritual Qi, pushing Mei Ruyan out.

The immense force on her buttocks propelled Mei Ruyan forward.

Knowing this was her only chance, Mei Ruyan rolled forward as soon as she hit the ground, successfully hiding behind a large tree by the roadside.

But the enemies wouldn’t let her go, immediately firing several shots towards her.

Fortunately, Mei Ruyan was behind the tree and unharmed, while she concealed herself along the roadside grass.

This was why everyone wanted to hide by the roadside; it was an excellent place to conceal themselves.

Mei Ruyan hid behind a cluster of reeds, observing the outside through the gaps.

She saw the ones who had just fired were all in tight uniforms, holding black pistols, advancing on Lin Tian’s position from both sides of the road.

Counting carefully, there were actually eighteen of them.

Suddenly, Mei Ruyan saw a person in the distance shouldering a long gun, narrow in the front and wide at the back, about a meter long, aiming at the SUV.

Ignoring her own safety, Mei Ruyan shouted hysterically, ”Lin Tian, watch out!”

Mei Ruyan’s voice revealed her location, instantly drawing gunfire from four people towards her position.

The reeds could provide cover, but were useless against bullets.

Four bullets tore through the reeds, heading towards Mei Ruyan.

Luckily, they couldn’t pinpoint Mei Ruyan’s exact location; three bullets missed, but one hit Mei Ruyan’s right arm.

Immediately, Mei Ruyan let out a painful scream, rolling several times in distress.
